My favourite restaurant in Vancouver did not disappoint, once again.

Love this restaurant, it has fantastic food with expressive flavors. Great for any time of day and would recommend for any occasion. We were celebrating a birthday and enjoyed the celebrations at Homer!

Very good experience returning to a restaurant for the first time since Covid. Felt safe, food was WONDERFUL... Dane (our server) did and awesome job of caring for us.

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary there and it was really good.
Service was superb, and on top of a really good food, they wrote us a nice thank you note and insisted on giving us a free dessert.
Definitely a must in DT Vancouver.

For our first return to a dine-in restaurant post-COVID, we felt extremely comfortable with the serving staff wearing masks and the kitchen staff wearing masks and gloves. Ample separation divided the diners and the staff were all exceptionally friendly, attentive, and appreciative of our return. Great food as always and the staff are always superb!

Brought my dad here for an early Father’s Day brunch. Really great service, manager even came by to say hi and tell us about the history of the space. Loved the brunch menu and cocktails! Will definitely return!

One of our first meals out post-lockdown. The restaurant has implemented safety protocols, including spaced-out seating, masks on all staff members, and digital or single-use menus. The food was delicious, the room was gorgeous as always, and the service was attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Sooooo great to get out again, after the shut down. to Homer st cooks beautiful, palate and gut satisfying food and serves it with grace and due attention.

Noisy but tasty

Food is good. We shared 2 very good starters and for mains, i enjoyed the ling cod, which i can highly recommend. My husband's flat iron steak was also very good, very tender and tasty. Service is friendly and attentive. It was very busy and noisy on the night we dined, but we could still talk without having to shout.

Our guests from San Diego said the pork loin benny's was the best they've ever had!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, everyone was pleasant and the food outstanding!

It's a great place to go; reasonably priced for the ambiance and food.

We opted for the family dinner and are so glad we did. Four of us were able to sample a range of apples, sides, and mains, then each chose our preferred dessert. The restaurant was busy, but we didn’t feel rushed or forgotten about. Some of the standouts from our meal were the brussel sprouts, pork belly, and steak. We never did figure out the unique flavour of the coleslaw. It made for a lovely accompaniment to the rotisserie chicken. We’ll definitely go back!

I love this little cafe. It feels like you are eating in someone's home. The service was excellent as was the food.

This is our place to go when we are in downtown Vancouver. The Homer Street Cafe service is always top notch as is the menu selection and delicious food. We also love the energy of the place. You will only feel good vibes here. Looking forward to our next visit in a month.

We were happy with our meal however the bartender was very distracted with friends at the other end of the bar. We had asked for our bill and waited for 5 minutes for anyone to come by to ask. All in all we love the place but that was really disappointing.

Food was great, service was fantastic, thanks to Emilie on Sunday evening! We had theatre tickets so were in a bit of a rush but she handled everything beautifully with a big smile.

I booked a table for 2 at 6pm 2 weeks before the date. When we arrived we were told 3 times in the space of 5 minutes that we had to leave by 8pm as the table is booked by someone else then. We were seeing a show, would leave by 7:30pm at the latest anyway, but being told this 3 times made us feel like whoever is coming after us is obviously more important. I ordered the roast of the day which was short ribs and my friend ordered the quarter chicken. My $32 short rib dinner consisted of 2 carrots, maybe a cup of mashed potatoes and 1 short rib, most of which was just fat. It had almost no flavour. My friend, who doesn't eat dairy, was told there was no substitutes for the coleslaw, so she just had a rubbery (her word) chicken leg and roast potatoes for $24. My $13 Negroni was good, but it was so loud in there we could barely talk. I have been twice before and enjoyed it, but this dinner was so disappointing. Drinks only if I come back.

Homer Street cafe is one of our favorites in Vancouver. Good food, good service.
Go! Go try it your self you won't be disappointed. Make reservations as it is popular place.

Consistently the best service in town in the best room! The food is great, too, but it’s the warmth of the room and the staff that makes HSC my go-to restaurant for date night, dinner with friends or a pre-game nosh with my kids.

Nice restaurant to have a business lunch with a friend and client. Food was well propostioned for lunch and the service very friendly. Noise level a touch high.

Service was engaging, friendly and professional. Cozy restaurant and even when full it's still easy to hear your dinner companion. The meal itself was delicious and I can't stop thinking about the beet salad that I had. I'll be back for sure!
