Wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond for us.
Service was impeccable - an experienced lead server who understands the timing of it all and when and how to engage us both personally and professionally. I appreciate such excellence
The lobster was a bit dry and flavors did not impress. Salmon was underwhelming. Expected way more from entrées.
However, appetizers, desserts, ambience and waiter were excellent.
The Chef at Hoku deserves a Michelin Star the meal was so delicious. The beginning courses were such punches of flavor and Unami . The seafood ravioli and the paste with truffle so great and insane. Thank you
Such a beautiful restaurant with attentive and friendly staff, food is artfully prepared and delicious.
Amazing dining experience. Worth every penny
It was a big birthday for me and Hoku couldn’t have made it more special. We had the four course menu and the combination of flavors and presentation of each was more than we could’ve hoped for. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Oahu. So glad I spent my special night there!
We had the 4 course tasting menu. Everything was fantastic. Will absolutely return!
Best overall service, food quality and table with an ocean view. Took my breath away and can’t really describe in words how amazing it was!!!!
Probably the best overall experience my girlfriend and I had at a restaurant by far. The food and customer service is first class all the way!!!
Not enough variety on menu
If you want to experience the true pacific rim cuisine in it's most creative way possible, the grand tasting menu is the way to do it!
Great room on the Dolphin Lagoon. Even better experience swimming with the Dolphins. But Dinner at Hoku was really not that great. If anything the offerings and the service at Hoku that evening were sub par. Really expected more. We’ve dined at every F&B outlet on the property & Hoku actually had the worst service by far. Kinda sad when it is also the most expensive?
An excellent experience all around for our first restaurant meal in 13 months! Impeccable COVID protocols and serene ambiance helped us feel safe while we enjoyed a superb meal.
Fine dining with good-sized portions. Our server was attentive and provided details of dishes being served. We feel liked VIPs. Perfect place for very special occasions.
My wife and I were trying out different higher end restaurants on Oahu. Hoku’s stood out as the best for the combination of ambience, great views, impeccable service and variety of food/wine. We had the eight course fixed menu with wine pairing. Local seafood and produce were extensively used, including cheese. Dishes were very elegantly presented. Flavors were well balanced. Wine pairing choices were mostly white but with good aromatics and complexity. The only imperfection was the preparation of the Kona lobster. My wife’s lobster was tender while mine was overcooked. After dinner, we checked out the dolphins of the Kahala hotel. Quite a bonus to add to a very memorable meal. Highly recommended if you want Michelin star level experience.
Great food and experience, would highly recommend, just took a while initially for our drink orders to be taken and 1st course to come out.
This was our first visit to Hoku’s with the Teishoku brunch instead of the buffet. The food quality was excellent, the portion size was appropriate and the service was unbeatable. I would highly recommend Hoku’s to anyone looking to celebrate something special, or just for a really good family meal.
Came for our Anniversary celebration dinner. Great service! But the food was just ok. Nothing really wow’d us which was disappointing for a $100 per person 4 course meal. But the ambiance was great!
Very enjoyable. Food, service, ambiance, all wonderful. I would have appreciated having a ocean front table, given we booked 4 months in advance, but clearly they have a priority of placing diners in these table who arrive earlier or later than we did. Not a problem.
The best meal I had in Honolulu! The service was absolutely incredible and the food was to die for! It’s the perfect date night restaurant, and it is worth the price. My husband and I both loved it! We will be back!
I’m a vegetarian and they catered to my diet. Food was delicious!
Great view and service. There was a lot of food so some food was cold by the time I got to it.
Under Covid they did excellent work but the day we were there was next morning after the gunman incident so the ingredient may not have been the best they can offer . But the hotel staff dealt with that incident valiantly so we have no complaint really
Our experience at Hoku’s was amazing. The service was great and the food was fantastic! Would definitely return!
Loved the ambience, staff and food!
We had the best view of the beautiful ocean. Our server MaryJane was incredible and made our anniversary experience unforgettable. The four course menu was wonderful, I recommend if going with a special someone to try different courses and share. Honestly we plan on visiting again and would recommend Hoku's to anyone!
A fine dining experience in Honolulu worth every moment. The welcoming ambience and easy hospitality of everyone at Hoku's makes you comfortable the moment you step in.
The food even if you're not a fan of all seafood, such as I, well entice you and submitting to them is a wise decision.
Save place for dessert.
Thanks for an outstanding meal and wonderful memories.
Ambiance, food, service... Everything was amazing! It was our last night in Oahu and we wanted to have a nice dinner and it didn't disappoint! We would definitely come back here! The Wagyu beef is a must try!
OMG! The best Easter Lunch ever. The service are great and the food are fantastic it’s pricey but it’s worth it. Cannot wait to come back and celebrate birthday dinner at Hoku’s.
Lovely Easter Brunch, highly recommend. Made being in a pandemic not as painful.
The Duck Breast , and the Short Rib were excellent.
Perfect evening for a special occasion. Servers and chefs are so nice and approachable. Fancy dining without the stuffy attitude.
It was perfect. We went for anniversary brunch. Lots of food, everything is super fresh, super worth it. Look forward to going back on day.
Wow what an experience! Beautiful surroundings, excellent food and the best service. We had the four course tasting menu and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Well worth it!
Unique and exceptional menu. Great views, venue and service. My wife and I can’t wait to return.
The service was excellent, the view was beautiful, and the food was amazing! Can’t wait to come back for our next trip.
We had a great Sunday Brunch at Hokus. No longer a buffet but still lots of food and you only get the most popular items. Great service, delicious food, beautiful ambiance!
5th anniversary celebration, loved it!
Hoku’s is a very special venue for all occasions. Aloha
