GREAT FOOD. SERVICE AWESOME. FUN PLACE TO TAKE OUT OF TOWN GUESTS!
Outstanding !!!!Wonderful as always. Carried a couple with us , it was their first time. The St were amazed!
We loved our waitress, and the food was delicious. She had great recommendations. The atmosphere was good, a great date night place.
Great dinner at Hog and Hominy.
Thunderbird with the spicy honey is out-of-this-world!!
Hog & Hominy is my favorite restaurant. Every dish we have ordered has been consistently delicious. The service is great. It is just a great casual, laid back atmosphere with great food and cocktails. My only complaint....we were informed by the staff that they are removing one of our favorite dishes from the menu. The sweetbreads are one of their best dishes but they decided to not offer them anymore. I guess not enough other folks shared our love for them. Oh well, biscuit gnocchi to the rescue!
Had a friend in from out of town. We enjoyed brunch before taking her to the airport to head back home to Massachusetts. The $5 bloody Mary’s were a great kickoff to a super meal. Started with the poutine which was phenomenal and then shared the pork belly hash and the Red Eye pizza. Really couldn’t be happier! A delightful Southern meal that made me proud to showcase Memphis food!
THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!
Our cornbread was burnt and more then crunchy. One of pizza forgotten to be ordered by waitress and when arrived it also had burnt crust. Better food elsewhere by restaurant decor is cute
Exquisite!!! Food, service, and atmosphere were impeccable!
This place has always been loud! Don't expect a romantic night out with your sweetie. The food is always consistently tasty. The pricing is off on the OpenTable menu. We paid $22.00 for very few crab claws. I thought this was high given you can get 2x the amount at Char for around $15. Oysters have gone up in price by $2 to $14.00. Very pricey for 4 oysters. Thunderbird is why we come back again and again! It is by far my favorite pizza in town. No special birthday mention or anything when I made it clear we were there to celebrate a birthday - both on the reservation and in person.
Excellent food in a casual, friendly atmosphere. The menu was southern and the food was really good.
Always unbelievable!! New drink menu is comprehensive and tasty. Pizzas always incredible! Butter beans on the new menu are the bomb!!!
Went for mother’s day brunch and as usual the food was spectacular. Favorite was the butter beans, so unique and flavorful
We loved the biscuits on the brunch menu, Felt the shrimp and grits had great flavor but way too much sauce it was over powering.
Excellent food and service! Jay was a great waiter.
Always good food. Tables too close together.
Great brunch after graduation, andvpre mother's day
The food does not disappoint. However, the ambience is terrible. It is too loud to pleasantly chat with your party. The bar is too small and becomes double and triple stacked with people attempting to order drinks over your head if you’re sitting there, making you claustrophobic and less able than ever to even hear yourself think. I always try to persuade my party to choose another restaurant for this reason alone. I go out to eat mainly to enjoy the company of the people I’m dining with and this is near impossible at Hog & Hominy. That being said, every menu item I’ve tried has been fabulous and the wine and cocktails are well done.
Nikki= Great customer service!
Excellent food & service.
Some of the drinks are overpriced - around 16 dollars each, more than some of their main dishes.
This could definitely be changed.
Overall excellent food & service, in a great location.
Great drink options everything from classic to modern, amazing pizza and gnocchi!
Sat at the bar and had a blast! Pizza happy hour was amazzzzzing. The bartender was super friendly and he made AWESOME drinks!! 10/10 would recommend. Greeters were super sweet and welcoming too.
Outstanding restaurant. Good quality food which is extremely hard to find in Memphis.
There is something for everyone including vegetarians , vegans and meat lovers.
Suitable for families, friends outing and great date spot!
Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Servers, Great Experience...Did I mention how great it is?
Food was amazing, staff is friendly, however noise level is really loud and it is hard to enjoy a conversation while dining here.
Good burger and shrimp and grits
Pizza was delicious! We even splurged with a piece of peanut butter pie that was amazing!
We like the relaxed atmosphere and the bocce courts. There is always something adventurous to try on the menu. The service is A+.
Never a bad night at H&H. Our server, Ashley, was excellent at recommendations and coursing out our choices.
One of my most favorite places to eat in Memphis! Andy and Michael did this thing right! Food is amazing as well as the cocktails and the service, impeccable!
Love the food! Great experience every time we come!
It is a little hard to hear conversation, but other than that it’s one of our favorite places to go, and bring out of town guests!
I have been to H&H many times since it opened in 2012 and never been disappointed. This place is well known in the national food media for good reason. There is always a new idea on the menu and the older items are well maintained. The servers believe in what they are doing and unlike many places, they are not just trained and uniformed. Not for the hard of hearing if you are going there to talk but the food is really the noise.
Excellent as usual!
It is an extremely disjointed menu, with no true narrative. The place was obnoxiously loud, which would make it not ideal even for two people to hang out there.
It was extremely disappointing.
Great food and great service!
Best burger in Memphis! However, cannot go wrong with anything on that menu.
The noise level is extremely loud!! Not upset but not conducive for a party of eight to carry on a conversation! Food as always, very good!!
Overall it was just ok. Pizza was burnt but undercooked because the bottom of was mushy. A lot of people of love it but for the cost $$$ the food quality and options were ok. Maybe give it a try for yourself but we probably will not go back. Server was very attentive and gave great service.
