The food was not good enough to merit to price tag. Service was good, but we really wanted something special for our anniversary and Hodges didn't deliver.

We were surprised to learn that Hodges is part of a restaurant group that includes two other really fine restaurants: Washington Place in Little Italy, and The Welshfield Inn. We've had great meals at both... now at three. We had to try their Hanky Pankies - a really amazing combination of chorizo, cheddar and fig jam on a crostini. After two side Caesar salads with extra white anchovies, we decided to do apps as entrees. We had the Lobster Flatbread, and the Blue Crab Hushpuppies. We also enjoyed a totally unnecessary, but nevertheless crispy order of Tots. The manager at Hodges is very engaging and checks on each table - in our case a number of times because we had some nice discussions about the restaurant, the ownership and the chef. Our server, Katie, moved things along at a perfect rate. We were heading to the McCartney concert and didn't want to be late. The restaurant is on Euclid, which has really come back to life in the last year. The outdoor dining area is set well back from the street, not like the outdoor tables on East 4th Street. The atmosphere was perfect for a summer evening in Cleveland. Check it out!

Over priced, didn't think much of the menu. Went there before the Indians game. Wouldn't go back.

We were in town for one night with our son for CSU orientation and stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn Express. We were so glad we tried Hodges. Everything was delicious, particularly the chorizo-stuffed, bacon-wrapped dates appetizer, and my husband's elevated shrimp and grits main. Service was fantastic, and all recommendations made by our server (on both drinks and food) were spot on. She was so helpful with my every indecision that I told her I needed to take her back home to help in all significant decisions. We will definitely be back!

I was treated to dinner for my birthday, but chose the restaurant and made the reservation myself because we had been there before and all enjoyed it.
We all enjoyed our meals. it was half-priced wine bottle night wo my husband and I shared a bottle of excellant Fume' Blanc to go with the Salmon dinner. We also had the crab fritters and deviled eggs as appetizers. All were very good. Our Waitress was friendly and accomodating.
We did indulge in dessert, mine was the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, very yummy.
The valet parking was a plus as it was a stormy evening and we were able to get in and out without having to deal with a Summer downpour. Parking was also very resonable.

Really enjoyed the spot. My braised beef was fabulous. My girlfriend's steak was cooked perfectly, but the rosemary was overwhelming. the cornbread was FABULOUS!

We've been to Hodge's twice and had outstanding service both times. The food is very good, if a bit heavy and lacking in fruits or vegetables of any kind. We had the scallops with risotto, which I found to be amazing. The Hanky Panky's were surprisingly good. Cornbread was fun. We found the cocktails lacking (not much variety and not very tasty), but the wine and beer selection was great. Overall, I would certainly recommend this place. It's a little too expensive to go to frequently, but great for a special treat.

This restaurant has not kept up with the great foodie scene in Cleveland. We went there for convenience but I would not recommend it given the other options nearby and within a mile or two.
