   We enjoyed our Sunday Brunch at the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn. Price on some items is a little high for the portions and menu option.

   Been here many times and hosted private events here. Great ambience, usually very good food. The food yesterday was just okay.

   It was so nice to see Felice! Love this Sunday buffet brunch! It’s just “easy like Sunday morning”! The ambience of the Book room coupled with the live music is just “parfait” Nicolas and Halima were so accommodating and welcoming:) We’ll see you in a few weeks!

   Thank you for making my daughter’s & son’s birthday dinner so very special! Thank you to Aline for taking such good care of us! The table for 8 in the Washington Room was perfect for the occasion.

   Very pleased with food & service - we went to Sunday brunch and there was a nice range of breakfast/lunch/dinner offerings at multiple price points.

   Nestled just 20 miles from New York City at the corner of East Franklin Turnpike and Sheridan Avenue, it housed members of the area’s founding family: the Zabriskies. The structure is believed to have been built in the 1790s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, the Ho-Ho-Kus (an abbreviation of a tribal term for “red cedar”) Inn & Tavern builds on its rich history, focusing on making it more casual. Modern infrastructure and amenities were interwoven through the establishment to comply with historical regulations. My partner, our friends, and I decided to have dinner last night as first-timers. Reservation was easily made via OpenTable for 5. Upon entering this spot for local and farm-fresh dining, we were greeted by the staff at the host station inside a cozy, multiple-story dining setup to host semi-private dining experiences in a multitude of quaint rooms and two bars. Our table was ready by the window at the Hermitage Room. The menu focused on simple, seasonal, and modern American cuisine. From starters, we decided on the Fiddlehead Salad, Calamari, Dozen Blue Point Oysters, and Tuna Tartare. As a main meal, we opted for Veal Cheesesteak Sandwich, Pan-Seared Black Bass, Diver Sea Scallops, Zabriskie Burger, and Crispy Long Island Duck Breast. Complimentary rolls with whipped butter started our meal. All dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients, care, and attention to detail. Each plate had its unique taste and was delicious. There was a small hiccup with one of the dishes ordered, and our server, Sebastian, fixed it. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The price was comparable to the area. Each dining room had its own personality, and we enjoyed our dinner experience here, which we can recommend.

    So nice to see Winnie!! Love how Winnie always confirms! Stella beer or Pinot Grigio? She takes such good care of us! Fish Tacos & Lobster Pappardelle were perfect!
