Food was wonderful! Service fine and enthusiastic.
Always a great place to meet friends for dinner or lunch. Will return for sure.
Wait for food was long but wait staff was kind and helpful
Food and outdoor seating was fabulous.
Fabulous evening with family and friends
Excellent staff and wonderful atmosphere
Love the food & outdoor space for dinning in all weather!
We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids under 7. Sat outside. Service by Zee was outstanding. We all had different meals and were very happy with our choices. The tented area they've set up is very nicely done.
Overall a good, but pricey meal and unfortunately the service lagged
A great lunch! Enjoyed the beautiful weather dining outside!
Beautiful outdoor tent set up with nice spacing. Food was very tasty, but service was inattentive. Had to ask several times for place settings/silverware.
Had a great time celebrating an anniversary outside for brunch. Food and service were great.
Beautiful building with great food. Outdoor seating area is a nice option during Covid.
never disappoints. Food is excellent- we both had fish and loved both dishes. service is solid. Great local option. With how the restaurant is set up, so many different options to sit- outside, at bar (x2), upstairs, etc.
Lovely surroundings, especially nice outdoor dining
Great diverse menu
We've eaten here before over the years and always enjoyed it. This was the first time during the pandemic. They've set up a nice outdoor tent. The food was very good as was the service. The staff was very nice. It was hot and humid, but the fans they set up were helpful.
Great atmosphere for a wonderful friend’s Birthday get together…..delicious food and wonderful, courteous service too!
Food and service were both good. Sat in the smaller room with the fireplace and bar (library?) which is very nice. Hostess called me before we got there to let me know their credit card machine wasn't working in case paying cash would be a problem. I appreciated that.
This meal was wonderful. I felt bad for our waitress who had to deal with the insufferable couple next to us who critiqued everything from the table location to how carbonated her drink was. Please give this woman a raise.
Nice outdoor tent. Had a nice lunch with group of friends
We felt very comfortable with the spacing of tables and the ambience outdoor in the tented area. The food was outstanding and the waiter and kitchen were very accommodating to special requests.
The food is excellent & ambiance is lovely, however the service is very very slow. Multiple times I have been here and I always seem to have the same issue with the service.
Great food, great service we love this place.
Delicious food and attentive service. Highly recommend!
All three of us ordered different salads for lunch — very good, a little pricey in comparison. Overall, my complaints are not about food, although I had hoped they would have non-dairy options for coffee. The Inn is very charming, but really needs an renovation at some point. Smells stale in certain spots and the deodorized bathroom spray is nauseating. It makes no sense that the women’s room is upstairs— majority of lunch guests were over 70yrs old and it’s just not practical.
All that to say, it’s such a neighborhood gem that it’s hard to give it less than four stars, but if they claim to be fine dining, then they can afford an update or two.
It was our anniversary ( week). They were lovely and the food and service were top notch, as always
Great place to dine outside. Warm and friendly service.
A great night out at Ho Ho Kus inn, the tent is decorated so beautiful with the chandeliers and the ivy running thru the tent rails and add the palm trees thru out it’s a real topical oasis to enjoy great food! Excellent service!! And a very friendly atmosphere! They continue to provide a fun and comfortable atmosphere to to dine!!
Thanks Ho Ho Kus Inn
Overall very good as usual
Had a wonderful evening under the tent, beautifully arranged and there was an amazing saxophonist as well. One of the best burgers I ever had. Service was great. Will be back.
Saw nice picture on Google of the patio and the fireplace. When we got there we were seated in a tent facing the parking lot. Also, the grilled chicken was made days before.
Very pleasant sitting on the patio. Lunch wasnt rushed and the food was very good. Loved the stuffed dates wrapped in bacon as an appetizer
Lunch under the tent was delicious. It helped that the weather was great, but the service, decor and most importantly the food were all excellent.
Always have a great experience at HHK Inn. Dinner was fantastic and the tent is always pretty. Our only negative this time was the service was painfully slow and our server never checked on us throughout the night. This is normally not the case and service is usually great. Will notch this up to staffing struggles in the industry. We will definitely be back!
The service was not good for a Wednesday evening. The food was okay but not worth the cost for an over done strip steak and cold french fries.
Just loved the Inn
Dinner was good but room got very noisy
Music was enjoyable
Celebrating my wife’s birthday. We’ve dined at the Inn before. Always an enjoyable experience. This time requested outside seating. The weather was ideal. An altogether wonderful experience. Our prior visits were all pre-Covid and indoors. This time the menu seemed smaller and simpler than we remember. More than enough options to satisfy our appetites. Salad, entree and dessert for each. The birthday girl got the candle and extra singing. Thank you HoHoKus Inn!
Overall a wonderful experience. Food was delicious.
Service was unusually slow but didn’t take away from the lovely evening we had.
