Additionally, parties of 8 or more will be on one check with an added 20% gratuity.

Extremely limited menu and was out of menu items. Disappointed in selections but overall food was delicious. We’ve been here many times in the past.
The service was awesome awesome my prime rib was 50 bucks and it was cold
First off we had reservations for over a month we we were created the Gentleman informed us that the lake view seating was for reservations only..Ok like I said we had reservations😒the Girl waiting on us could only talk about how she disliked talking to people and how she was actually rude to people at Wal-Mart when not working. Wasn't sure why she was working as a waitress means she doesn't like people. Had to ask twice for our drinks. My husband had the surf and turf he really liked his Shrimp and Steak. I had the Turkey steak, it was very dry. Mashed potatoes were really good. We had to ask for the check.
Piano music was good but VERY LOUD. And it cost 108.00.
We will not go back here to eat. However we loved the resort itself... We will just go off the property to eat next time.
A little different. Server seemed new and a little out of her element. Food was decent.
Food was overpriced, and not good. My husband ordered turkey (which was dry and tasteless) and I ordered the chicken marsala which was not good. Restaurant has a Nice view though.

Waitress was terrible, seemed to be forgetful or just didn’t care! They did not allow us to view the full menu for ordering only a very, very limited menu they had printed on a sheet of paper (would have never made the reservation if I had been told this upfront). Ordered the prime rib medium rare it came out so over cooked the meat was gray and the knife would not even cut it...and it was cold! Told the waitress it was not medium rare and she seemed surprised as if she did not even know the difference, sent it back and the next piece came out medium well, didn’t even bother at that point. The only side offered was half of a twice baked potato that tasted like it came from the freezer section of the grocery store and popped in the microwave...also came out cold. No bread for the table or salad came with the meal, only the piece of meat and small half of a potato. Waitress never refilled water glass and it took forever for the her to come take our order for drinks from the bar and then took forever to get them after we ordered them. The only positive thing I can say is the drinks from the bar were delicious!
I had dinner reservations for February 14th, I was on a business trip for an event there at Lodge of the Four Seasons. I also used this occasion for dinner with my wife. We have had dinner at HK's before, it has been several years ago. The service we received by the waitress was poor, she seemed to be under trained and lacked customer service skills. We both ordered the prime rib dinner, it was over priced for the quality of the food we received. The prime rib was fatty and grisly, the potato with mash potato's on top tasted like instant potato's out of a box. I did eat some of my dinner and my wife returned hers. We did let the waitress know we were not happy with the food. We did not ask for a manger due to the waiting time for food and service by the waitress. I asked for the check and well left. Overall quality of food and service was poor.

The service was VERY slow. Did not like paying $10 for a small dinner salad. The rest of the meal was very good.

My wife and I visited for Valentine’s Day. The service was really bad. I’m hoping they were unexpectedly short-handed because a restaurant that charges these prices should never have this bad of service. The quality of food was good, but again, for the prices they charge, not worth it.
Disappointed in meal and service. Feb 14th. We had eaten there Thanksgiving Day food was good. Booked for 14th expected the same. Couple next to us didn't eat their food, waiter did not offer to take meal off ticket.
The food was exceptional had the ginger soy salmon entree! Our server was very attentive and ensured each entree was delivered to our table timely. We had a nice table facing the outdoor gardens which made the evening! Highly recommended!
It took us an hour and a half to get our food. The food was average. Going out to eat should be relaxing, but this was a frustrating experience. It was even difficult to find out server to pay our bill. We were so excited to try out this restaurant, but we were very disappointed.
We enjoyed our evening. Server was very kind and food was hot.
Best NYE with a great band for dancing and the best filet we have ever eaten!
Celebrated New Year's Eve there. Great food, music and service. Best quality filet mignon I've had in years even as compared to other pricey steak houses.

Overall, our New Year's Eve dining experience was enjoyable. We arrived early for a 9:00pm seating and there was some confusion as to whether we could be seated or needed to wait at the bar until 9:00pm. Once dinner service started, we had to flag down a server to take our appetizer order and refill our water. The food choices for the evening were a nice variety and the food was prepared and tasted very good. I do not feel the dinner and entertainment was worth the $79/person, however, as the band was a group of older men who performed mainly "easy listening" dinner music rather than New Year's Eve dance party music. Very surprised at the low attendance for the event - I think that played a part in the ambiance being "off" for me. The party favors and champagne toast at the end of the night was a nice offering.
Absolute excellent service and the staff were very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this place!!
We dined here on NYE and didn't realize they had a pre fixe menu for that evening. We were really just looking for a snack before other plans we had later. Anyway, there were four of us and we were all very pleasantly surprised with how delicious our meals were. I asked for a vegan/vegetarian option and the server and chef were extremely accommodating with a couple of options for me to choose from. The chef created a delicious pasta and vegetable dish for me which was just outstanding. The other of our diners each enjoyed prime rib, salmon, and roasted chicken which I was told were all very delicious. If there was one negative, for us, it would be the "vintage" look of this dining room. It was just a little dark and "old school" steak house for me.

I ordered the Ribeye medium rare and it was thin and over cooked. Overall underwhelming. It did not taste like what a $46 steak should taste like. I went to Baxter’s the next night and had the ribeye there. That steak was completely worth $50. Would recommend making the drive to Baxter’s instead of eating at HK’s
We had Christmas dinner at HK's. Delicious and elegantly-plated food. Cordial wait staff. Wonderful time. We will eat there again.
The young lady that took care of us I believe her name was Kelly was outstanding, personable, good conversation, was attentive and pleasant.
I will be honest we have had several experiences at HK’s that were not the best customer service/customer relations, but there was a different attitude and environment this time.
Everyone was was friendly.
Mention the bartender was outstanding as well, we’ll be back.
Shrimp was outstanding.
Roast beef was Fatty.
Roasted veggies yuk!
Hag to keep asking to have our table cleared of used dishes as we went for the next course.
We used $150.00 worth of gift certificates and should have had $20 left after we paid our and we were told that you just loose that amount. I have never heard of a place if business doing this and thought that was not a very customer friendly way to handle business. Turned me off on coming there again if that is how you treat your customers!

Beautiful location! However, we found the staff to be really rude. They were vacuuming while we were eating. They were also very rude on the phone before we called. I really wanted to love this place but the with that the subpar food I would not go back again.

It was a beautiful place with great views of the garden. Steak was cooked perfectly. It was not busy but we did have a reservation. Was loud like a bar though. Service was mediocre like they were not happy to have customers who were paying high prices for food.

The atmosphere is the best aspect of this restaurant. Recent renovations to the resort and restaurant are beautiful. The designers preserved the retro style architecture and updated with well chosen details. Unfortunately, the menu hasn’t seen the same enhancements and our steaks were all under cooked and the rest of our dinner was unremarkable. I remember dining here 25 years ago when the flaming bananas foster provided a spectacular ending to a delicious dinner. Unfortunately, the only memorable part of our evening was the ambiance. There is a great opportunity to elevate the cuisine to match the beautiful surroundings. I hope the next time we return both will be equally impressive!

Fish was great! Salad pretty small, but onion rings great as well. Steak was extremely tough like leather and fatty.

An excellent dining experience. Great cocktails, food and staff. A very nice place to have dinner where is quiet enough to have a nice conversation during dinner.

Very disappointed in the food and price. I’ve eaten here for decades, but it has gone downhill. They are known for their steaks, but we’ve had better steaks at Denny’s for a third of the price. We are staying at the Lodge a few more times this summer, but not ever eating dinner here again. The bar is nice and reasonable priced drinks with great atmosphere, but the food isn’t worth the $$.

Our waiter Laine was awesome - funny, welcoming and very attentive. The view of the garden and lake was breathtaking. Great backdrop for a romantic date. Would return for sure.

Truly the worst dining experience I have ever had.
We arrived with a reservation, and before being seated requested two kids menus. After about five minutes or so a waitress arrived to take our drinks order, and again we requested the kids menu. Still no sign of them. So upon her return with the drinks we again asked for the menus. This time we got success.
So off to a great start!
Then I had to return my drink as it came in a glass that had clearly not been through a wash. Dirty inside and out. Then after about ten or twelve mins the second drink finally arrived. No apology whatsoever.
The appetizers came out pretty quickly, but lukewarm. Still no sign of the kids food. We had asked them to bring it as quickly as possible to allow them plenty of time to eat.
We sat down to dinner at 7.15, and at 8.40ish the mains and the kids food came out. We had to rush through dinner to make the fireworks at 9. We asked where the food was when we finally managed to get hold of a waitress and were told it was coming soon, again no apology on the delay.
Now on the food - salads were limp and came with steak that was clearly from the refrigerator. Dried out and freezing. My pizza, which apparently was the cause of the delay (clearly since everyone else had cold salad meats), clearly didn’t spend enough time in the oven as it wasn’t properly cooked through. The kids pasta was drowned in butter and the toasted cheese contained way too much cheese for a small kid.
Took us ten mins to get hold of the waitress to escape and go see the fireworks. Definitely won’t be back: lots of work to be done on service, food and attention to details.
All in all, the worst experience ever.
Great spot if you are staying at the lodge- convenient and a variety of good dinner options! Service was great, dinner was delish!
