My husband and I celebrated the occasion of his retirement at HK. The setting was nice and the staff's service was EXCELLENT! Our only comment of displeasure was the music (saxophone playing) was way to loud which caused cliental to attempt to speak over it causing a unpleasant loud rumble of voices. We were not unhappy with the music but just the volume of it. Parking situation was not favorable either.
We had a fabulous dinner. The atmosphere is perfect, the food was amazing, and our server was fabulous!
Ambiance was great, loud LOUD saxophone player was not great. It was hard to converse because he was so loud. Food was okay and pricey for just being okay. Desserts were AMAZING. Staff were wonderful, friendly and fast.
Food was very average. Not the quality expected. The chicken thata topped a pasta dish was dry and had no flavor. Prime rib was barely warm when served
Third time there in the last couple of weeks. The previous visits were all great. This time the food failed. The prime rib was nearly inedible. The Mayfair salad dressing drenched the salad and was way over the top with to much anchovy. Server did not inquire about the food bot being eaten. Lesson learned!
Menu looked great yet the food was bland. Nothing to write home about.
Had great dinner with Rat Pack music. This evening was a dream come true for me and my family. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Service was very good, food was good, very attentive to needs
Food was good. The only problem was our appetizer was lukewarm. We did get a new hot one, but it was served along with our main meal. Service was good.
Great Meal and the Best Entertainment !
Our server Billi was outstanding!! We loved her recommendations & just the best server all around! Brent the manager was very friendly.
love HK's always enjoyable, always great food. look forward every time we head to the lodge we have a meal or two at HK's . be sure to stop by. you will be glad you did
My birthday celebration. Food was wonderful! Atmosphere was great! Music was good.
Good food for the money, prime rib was excellent & several drink options!
Tasty food and excellent service! Our family loves eating there on special occasions such as Christmas Eve and Easter!
Easter brunch was amazing as always and the service is always impeccable, the price sometimes seems a little much but still a great place to have a meal.

Best part of the evening was appetisers and music. My bill is incorrect but not enough to make a scene. Inexperienced waiters was the problem.
Was terrible! Terrible food! Terrible service! WAY overpriced. Will never be back!
excellent food but a little pricey if not a special occasion. atmosphere was nice and service was good.
Met my girlfriend at the lake. Had an amazing experience at HK’s mostly because of the fabulous service and friendly staff. The manager here runs an outstanding crew! Food, drinks and dessert were delicious!

Great food, nice ambiance, service was slow...long wait for final check in, asked for dessert options, waited 20 minutes and the server came back with our check, and we never ordered dessert.
I understand that there is no mask mandate in the county that this restaurant is in, but it was extremely disconcerting to have the servers handling my food (and everyone else that works there) without masks. We were there for a gymnastics meet which was very well done and felt completely comfortable with all of the safety precautions but I did not feel that was at dinner.
Service was super slow. My husband ordered a second drink which he never received. Food was ok but not great for the cost. I probably wouldn’t eat here again.
The Whiskey dinner was nicely done. My father really enjoyed it.
Hello CindyA Thank you for comments regarding the Whiskey Dinner. Check our website for upcoming Food & Beverage events. Thank you! Al Highwood Food & Beverage Director
The staff didn’t wear masks but were very kind and good at their jobs. It was a great atmosphere other than the no masks. I recommend if you aren’t afraid to catch COVID. Food was good and staff were very good.
The Restaurant manager organized tables for 12 for me so I can propose to my future wife they all cooperated in and help me pull this out it was great love this place!
Good food, waiter was having an off night or not very well trained but overall a good experience.
The service was wonderful. The food was very good...the Cesar had a little too much parm on it. The pizza was very good and cheesy. My daughter loved the seafood rav. and the shrimp pasta entrée. We are so glad we ate there during our stay. The prices were not too high. We would absolutely eat there again.
2 hours after we ordered we received food after asking for it repeatedly. We never received our salad course or bread for the table as indicated for our Thanksgiving dinner. Waitress did not come to our table to provide refreshments. We had to walk around to find workers to ask where our food was, to ask for refills, and to ask for them to run our credit card.
We went there for the Thanksgiving Feast. Yes, it was during COVID and indoors. I was not excited about this but actually did it for my dad (he seeming has no problem with this although I'm strict with him otherwise). They did socially distance the tables. In the hotel most staff and people did NOT wear masks - as the state of MO has no mandate. The servers did have masks on in the restaurant - some wearing it properly, some just over their mouth, some taking them down in the break station, rubbing their face with hand and putting mask on. Ok so that's the atmosphere. The food: 4 course meal: starter/soup or salad/main and dessert. Starter - great. Soup - warm if that but good. Main - dad had prime rib and loved it, I had salmon (don't eat meat) and it was cold. Try #1 - all was cold - salmon and sides. Try#2 - sides warm, salmon cold. Server offer a 3rd try, I declined. Bless his heart he felt so bad he actually compt'd my whole meal. I know I ordered fish on Thanksgiving day and because they were serving so many it sat forever before being served. BUT they offered it on the menu, therefore they should have figured out a way to serve it at a proper temperature. Dessert - good. I will not return for a special meal or any during COVID.
The food was bland and lacked seasoning for both the Strip and Filet. The best thing on the menu was the onion rings.
The wait staff (includes hostess, bartender, table server, kitchen server) is not required to wear face masks during this pandemic. Most but not all customers wore masks into the restaurant. We are not locals and felt very exposed. The chicken and salmon dishes were good, but we both left a plate of noodles behind. The final bill for 2 entrees, two salads, and two non alcoholic drinks was $100, value versus food. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. No one asked us if we were celebrating anything (we were, our anniversary!). Hoped to be enchanted, but maybe because of time of year in this 2020 year of the pandemic, the experience was meh.
really disappointed reservations were at 7 got there early 6ish seated immediately but were told already out of prime rib and the menu was very limited. The Salmon entree I had was very good and the HK Soup was very good. My girlfriend got the turkey steak was dry and hard as a rock she ate one small bite and that was it. She is not a complainer so you go lucky she just ate her vegetables and we moved on. Our server was good and the atmosphere was good. The food selection was very weak and I don't think we would go back.
Let me tell you about our experience. We made a reservation and when we arrive for it...you were closed. WTF?! No one bothered to call or message us so we ended up going else where. We will never come back to your restaurant again or the Lodge of the Four Seasons. Horrible experience.
Extremely limited menu and was out of menu items. Disappointed in selections but overall food was delicious. We’ve been here many times in the past.
The service was awesome awesome my prime rib was 50 bucks and it was cold
First off we had reservations for over a month we we were created the Gentleman informed us that the lake view seating was for reservations only..Ok like I said we had reservations😒the Girl waiting on us could only talk about how she disliked talking to people and how she was actually rude to people at Wal-Mart when not working. Wasn't sure why she was working as a waitress means she doesn't like people. Had to ask twice for our drinks. My husband had the surf and turf he really liked his Shrimp and Steak. I had the Turkey steak, it was very dry. Mashed potatoes were really good. We had to ask for the check.
Piano music was good but VERY LOUD. And it cost 108.00.
We will not go back here to eat. However we loved the resort itself... We will just go off the property to eat next time.
A little different. Server seemed new and a little out of her element. Food was decent.
Food was overpriced, and not good. My husband ordered turkey (which was dry and tasteless) and I ordered the chicken marsala which was not good. Restaurant has a Nice view though.
Food was okay. Server was nice but over shared things about her personal life. Will not go back.
Food is way overpriced for the quality.
Service was great.
