The service was friendly and very well polished. We were celebrating our 40th Wedding anniversary and my wifes birthday. There was an anniversary greeting on the table and a free candle lit cake at the end.

Revere Tavern has a special occasion feel to it, with warm and inviting fireplaces in the dining rooms. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Specials were listed on a separate menu with prices included. The ambiance is quiet and would be nice for a special date night.

The food was good but the oversized busboy with the long hair in his eyes ruined the experience. He was constantly banging into my wife's chair. He was running his hands through his hair to get it out of his eyes multiple times at the table and while filling to go containers. He also fingered and palmed the rim of the water glasses while refilling them. It's the little things that can ruin an otherwise good dining experience.

My husband and I both said that it was the best meal/dining experience we can recall. Everything about the food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. Every detail of our meal was delicious to the palate AND the eyes. Our server Sharon was attentive and kind. This will be on our short list of favorite places for years to come.

Very nice. Many rooms with fireplaces, which was nice since it was snowing tonight. Only thing wrong was my wife’s wedge salad came with horseradish instead of blue cheese. That was a very strange taste but they did replace it. They probably shouldn’t have charged us for the salad. Snapper soup and filets were very tasty. We will definitely return.

Valentine’s Day dinner was very good. The food was excellent and very well put together. Great dinner options for Valentine’s Day and a wide variety of food. Server was not very tentative and did not seem very happy to be at her job.

Everything was very good from the service to food to ambiance. Sarah was very attentive and helpful. Whatever we needed , Sarah took care of it. Our meals were very tasty and filling. My wife’s Salmon was fresh and prepared perfectly. My meal, Flat Iron Pork Steak was very good. For dessert we had the Dark Side of the Moon. It was fabulous with lots of chocolate.

We really enjoyed our meal and the friendliness of the staff was wonderful. The food was very tastefully prepared as were our cocktails. This will definitely be a stop for us the next time we are in the Lancaster area.

Third visit over a ten year period, we live out of state. Good variety of salads, soups, appetizers, entrees, desserts. Entrees include salad, vegetable, and choice of starch including a flavorful rice pilaf. All entrees were served hot as they should be. An excellent value with good food and service in an historic inn and at a reasonable price. We had complete dinners for four, 2 cocktails, 1 glass of wine (very smooth cab sav), and a huge brownie sundae for the table for a total tab of $133.46 plus tip.

We had a great meal, ourwait staff was attentive, but not intrusive. The dinning room was quaint comfortable with a roaring fire. All in all a very nice evening. I had the prime rib and it was perfectly cooked. I Highly recommend for any nice occasion or special treat!

Great atmosphere. Have been there 5 times in the past and very much look forward to the grilled ribeye steak. They "had" the best grilled ribeye steak we've had anywhere. Nice char broil, very tender and juicy. Unfortunately we arrived this time to find out they changed the menu and removed the char broiled ribeye steak. The New York sirloin we ordered instead wasn't nearly as good and wouldn't order that again. We were spoiled and now disappointed with the grilled ribeye no longer on the menu. They have many other items on the menu that are probably worth trying instead.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Historic Revere Tavern. Had a great time, food was great, atmosphere was special, staff awesome. We will be back. Recommend for any special night or date.

My wife and I just ate there and the service was very poor. We waited forever for drinks, then waited forever for our food, the waitress never checked back and the steaks were overdone and not good at all. We had to go to a concert, so we could not wait any longer. This was the 5th time we have eaten here. This place used to be very good, but this time and the previous time we ate here were similar......poor service and not good food.

We are done going to the Historic Revere Tavern. Lancaster County has far better restaurants.

Somewhat inconsistent with food. Was there in October and food was great. This time some of the stuffed shrimp were over salted, and the stuffed mushrooms were bland (couldn't really taste the crab). Service was very good though and nice cozy atmosphere in the room w/ two fireplaces.

We went for New Years Eve, as we have done in the past. The wait was short...15-20min.
We had a drink at the bar..lovely setting.
Food was good...not a limited menu as some restaurants do on holidays.
Service was good, especially given that tables were turning over with no breaks for the
Servers in between.

I was very excited to try this restaurant especially after reading the menu. However all the the food was expensive and very bland. My steak even though medium rare still managed to be dry. My crab cakes had absolutely no flavor whatsoever... Even though they were cooked to perfection. I need flavor to excite me. Our server did not even bother to mention any of the specials for that evening and I learned about them only after overhearing another server telling her table and by that point I had already ordered. We ordered Long island iced tea and nuts and berries. The long island iced tea had way too much sour in it and you could barely taste anything else. My drink tasted like nothing but creamer (an ingredient in the drink). Which was very disappointing to me since this was a high end place. The place was almost too quiet... Like everyone was bored. The building was very cold. But maybe this had to do with the fact that we were sat right next to a window and you could literally feel gushes of wind coming in through the window. It's December!!! It was awful. I didn't feel at all that our experience was worth what we paid or the special trip. Disappointed to say the least
