   Were not seated for a 7:15pm reservation until after 8:00pm. They had apparently cut the server in the section we were seated so no one came to take out order for another 30 minutes. Food was very slow to come out but was very good. Was surprised at the poor service as the restaurant only seemed about half full.

   absolute terrible service. we had a reservation at 7 and were seated promptly. waited 45 minutes just to get drinks. then another 30 for appetizers. total dining took over 2 hours for a table of 5(3 were kids). Manager was less than helpful. also, you now get two prices when your bill comes. Cash discount or higher price with your card. 10/10 will not be back.

   Our server Jasmine was AMAZING as always!! We had her a few weeks ago and requested her again and she didn't disappoint! She handled a table with 19 people and did it with the grace and confidence of a seasoned pro!! The food is amazing, lots to try and the drinks delicious too. This restaurant rates above Blue Sushi for us now just in selection alone. Though we love Blue too. Jasmine thank you again! From the girls softball team.

   Good meal at a fair price. Service was a little slow but they were pretty busy. Floors & restroom doors could use some cleaning- very sticky surfaces.

   After a bad experience with the previous days take out order the manager, Ryan, asked I bring my food back for them to “see it” and they would reimburse me for the meal plus an extra $15 for the trouble, once I got there he apologized and said they were trying to call me to let me know it wasn’t necessary to come there as they figured out the issue. I paid $53, so my wife’s best friend wanted to eat there the next night as she was leaving town the next morning and moving to Atlanta. We had a wonderful waitress who did very very well, but when the bill came out there was only a $40 credit so she asked if that was what I expected so I said no and explained why, she went to see if she could do anything about it and the same manager came to the table and explained since we didn’t bring back the gyozas they wouldn’t be refunding the entire order from the previous day and that’s all they were able to do for me. I said whatever that’s fine and proceeded to pay the remaining bill from tonight which was another $50 after the $40 credit. We sat and drank water and our friend had a tea but it was getting so noisy from a party that we decided to sit on the patio and told the waitress we would leave if they needed the seating and they said it wa ok. We didn’t take our drinks we simply sat outside where no one was sitting as it was sprinkling, and after a short time the waitress came out and asked us to leave. We were all shocked, there were seats inside available and again, not one table outside being used. We frequent this place often as it is all of our favorite place to go but I don’t see us coming back for quite some time if at all. We went a block up the street for dessert and came back an hour later for our cars and still no one was sitting outside. If it wasn’t the last night we would see our close friend I probably would have made a bigger fuss about it all.

   I used Open Tablet for a reservation. The wait was extremely long for the food. The manager did offer us an accommodation.

    Wonderful experience at Hiro 88! We ordered a ton of sushi and it was all delicious. Our server recommended the Ham Zu roll and it hit the spot with fresh lemon slices. One of my fave sushi rolls ever. Highly recommend!

    Reservation was easy to make. Waited no time at all. Sushi was a bit off, not as fresh as expected. Small portions on apps, and service staff seemed to be overwhelmed as it showed in performance at multiple tables that I saw. Overall, I would go back to give them a 2nd try or maybe 3rd.

    Having a reservation we got Seated right away. But then did not Get greeted by server for over 10 minutes. When she did come she said she has all of the tables and is slammed. I understand staffing is hard these days but a greeting of hello, I will be with you in a couple of minutes would have been nice.

    Made a reservation for 6 people, they sat us at a table meant for 4. Not a very comfortable dinner, and little table space for food and drinks. We went on a busy night so food and drinks took awhile. Server was great and very helpful. Just wish we would’ve gotten a table for the number of people I made the reservation for.

    Had to ask for our server who had already been walking around, looked at us and never stopped. Main entrees came out before our drinks, apps, and salads…make that salad as the other one ordered never arrived. Server never noticed or cared about any of this. Seemed to be two managers on the shift but neither stopped by and most likely was not made aware of the issues. We are also fairly sure they took our food back to the kitchen and let it sit until the apps and salad were ready then just brought it all back out at once.

    We waited for an 90 momutes to get our food. People next to us who were seated after us got their food before we did. I think the waiter was either intoxicated or high as he was very inattentive. We will never go to this place again

    Made reservations on line and got seated right at arrival. Waiter was very helpful with decision making and the food was delicious! We love Sundays and half price apps! We are repeat customers of Hiro!

    I arrived 5 minutes before my reservation and was not helped for 30 minutes before I went up to the front counter for help. Decided to place a to go order after that since the in restaurant customer service was not satisfactory. I waited for over an hour for my to go order. Terrible service.

    We ordered drinks and literally waited almost 30 minutes for them finally got them ordered food to wait another 30 for that. We ordered a combination plate and asked to share a combo fried rice and we only got the combo fried rice never was explained they were the same thing

    I love the Hiro 88 west and visit frequently. The one Saturday night was disappointing. Our server was good, but I order egg rolls and I’m pretty sure they were the ones you can buy in bulk at Costco. After we finished dinner, we were visiting and I was finishing my drink. It was very nearly done, but the bus girl came by out table, scooped it up and took it. Never asked me if I was finished. I do understand that it was prom night so things were probably quite hectic. Overall though, we were not impressed.

    Dinner was amazing! Christina (Tina) took great care of us! We enjoyed the delicious Calamari, awesome Hot & Sour Soup, wonderful Sesame Chicken, yummy Crispy Tofu and some scrumptious crab rangoon! Perfect date night!

    I was very disappointed in Hiro88. I never complain or write a bad review but our experience was very poor. We had a reservation and had to wait a long time for a table. The table, seats and floor were so filthy dirty. It took an 1.5hrs to get our food and we didn't have time to eat it, so it was a waste. Tried to talk to the manager and his response wasn't satisfactory. We will never go back.

    Got seated 15 min. later than our reservation we made (2 tables got seated before us that came in after us, ???). What is the point of a reservation if you still have to wait. Our appetizers came out timely, but we kept waiting for our sushi/dinner to come out. After inquiring we were told they were running behind, and would be another 15min. We told them we had a show to get to, and ended up having to take our meals to go and eat them in the car at 11 (5 hrs later) on the ride home. We were never communicated to that the kitchen was running behind. I made the reservation an hour and half before we needed to leave for the show, this should have been plenty of time. Our server was very sweet and attentive, no issues with her at all. They definitely have logistical issues. The manager came and gave us a half hearted insincere apology (it was clear they didn't care). Disappointed!
