Hiro 88 - Lincoln
Dinner: Monday & Tuesday: 3:00pm-10:00pm, Wednesday - Thursday: 3:00pm-11pm, Friday-Saturday: 3:00pm-12:00am, Sunday: 3:00pm-10:00pm
It was Husker BB night. 65 minute experience. Slow. Past experience has been good
Arrived at 5 before a basketball game. Game started at 6:30, got our food at 6:20. 1 waitress for a large area with no help even as most diners were leaving without getting service. Food quality is declining as far as entrees go. Ambience had never been a strong point.
we had dinner after a Husker BB game. Staff is always well trained. Food consistently is always A++.
We love it. Jeff Greenwald
Great location and place to eat prior to any event at the Pinnacle Arena.
The only snag was that Hiro 88 hostess stated that she didn't find my reservation on Open Table.
We love Hiro Restaurants. We live close to Omaha’s Maple Street location. Always plan on Lincoln Hiro’s when in town.
Great service and location
Celebrating my wife’s birthday. It was a super busy night and we sat right down. Awesome as usual!
Went before an event at Pinnacle...some of the sushi was very good...some just missed all together...the hot and sour soup was what my husband called “very gelatinous!” not hot and not a tangy taste at all..little if any seasoning...but for $2 what would you expect?...cocktails were good just slow to arrive...happy hour prices and offerings were great!...but what made the evening outstanding was our server Maria...very professional and right there if we needed anything...many thanks to her!
This place never disappoints. A gem in the Lincoln dining scene!
Great food, as always. Excellent service as well.
The food and service was outstanding, living in Omaha the drive to that particular Hiro was well worth it.
Visited Hiro 88 before a concert at the nearby arena. Seated promptly (had a reservation via Open Table), served quickly by an attentive server, and the food was amazing!
Very nice restaurant with good service
Certain sushi is fishy tasting and mushy
We had bento box lunch which was a great value - 2 items for $10 which includes soup or salad and rice and 2 other items from a fairly lengthy list that included teriyaki or sushi rolls. I had sushi and it was fresh, well presented, and delicious. The California rolls were actually quite good - not bland as they can sometimes be - a good crab flavor that didn’t taste like imitation crab. We had crab balls too -fried and had a nice soft texture inside with a tangy dipping sauce. I recommend the sesame dressing for the salad - also recommend led by our server. Our server was friendly and attentive - a little slow when time to pay but we were also not in a hurry so had we waived her down, I’m sure she would have accommodated us - she offered water after we paid too. I didn’t have to tell to be heard - always a nice feature.
Get Ryan as your server; he’s fantastic!! Plus they comped a free roll even though we were the ones who ordered wrong. Great time! 👍
Hiro 88 has the best sushi in Lincoln and a very pleasant atmosphere.
Great menu items as well as sushi. Fun, energetic atmosphere in the Historic Haymarket.
We had a group of seven, four different checks, an hour before a concert. We received food and drinks promptly and our bills were all divided. There was a thunderstorm right as we were leaving the restaurant and all of the customers were given garbage trash bags to use as ponchos when walking to Pinnacle-customers were very appreciative.
The food and service was fabulous. The raspberry margaritas were delicious.
We always go here before concerts because I love their sushi! However, the service is always terrible! This last Friday was the last time, we will find some place else!
It took 15 minutes to be greeted by our server and 25 to get a glass of water & 30 for a drink. Our server Dan once he got to us was wonderful, prior to that service was lacking. The food was wonderful and the patio is nice.
Went after my niece’s graduation. Had a party of 7. Very nice experience.
Sushi and chicken were fantastic! Friendly staff and good service. I wold go back again.
Very nice place, but the food was not very good and the service suffered as well. I would not recommend this place.
Our server, Ryan, was wonderful, attentive, and funny. He made my friend’s birthday dinner go smoothly and happily.
It was great
I love hiro!! I love sushi, I love fish, and I love fun food!!
Miso soup and seaweed salad were very good. Shrimp tempura was overwhelmed by the batter and mealy - basically, tasteless. Sashimi not made with the best quality fish. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Service was great.
Loved the food! Our server was very friendly and helpful with food & drink suggestions. The atmosphere was trendy and perfect for an evening out!
We love Hiro 88 and go many times over the year!!!!!!!
Service was wonderful. It was the second time we dined there, and both times were very good. The Haymarket area is bustling and fun to visit as well.
We were seated by the door on a cold night even though there were plenty of open tables. The sushi rolls as appetizers were good but my entree was another story. Vegetables with tofu turned out to be a lot of mushy tofu and a few vegetables. The service was luke warm at best and the overall atmosphere is not very conducive for a date night. Previous trips to this restaurant were usually good but this experience will probably be our last.
Amazing service and food. For being a Friday night in downtown Lincoln, the service was very fast and we got our food without much of a wait. One of my favorite places to go.
I love the food here! It never disappoints and service was excellent! I never felt like we were being pushed to leave despite the obvious wait for tables. They were great to ask if we were done with items before removing them from our table as well. I'll be back!
Very good. Always enjoy this place. Great food and location. It’s loud in main dining area so if you want to have a quiet conversation request a differ area
This place is always amazing to go to. Live the food and priplr
