Come as strangers, leave as friends! Co-Chef/Owners Tony Ferrari and Jonathan Sutton have received national attention for their use of classic old-world traditions to create seasonal dishes that embrace the best of local ingredients and a wine list whose range and depth brings in wine aficionados looking for something special. Honest food, an out of the ordinary wine list ( including a substantial "private stash" of specially allocated wines), and unpretentious neighborhood charm overlooking Precita Park are on display 6 nights a week and at Saturday and Sunday brunch.

The personal touch is evident in the the chef duo's interaction with guests and the "slow food" attention given to every detail on the plate. In addition to monthly Purveyor Dinners, weekly specials include :
* Mix and Match Sunday Supper- $540 for your choice of any 3 courses
* BYOB Mondays- corkage waived for 1 bottle per table
* $10 after 10 Weekends- all starters and wine by the glass are $10 from 10-11pm.

We are a 15 minute ride/drive from downtown SF BART- 24th Street Mission Station. Walk down 24th Street, take a right on Folsom. We are located 2 blocks up on the corner of Folsom and Precita Ave . MUNI- find the closest stop to Folsom Street and head south to the Precita intersection across the street from the park.

I don't usually write reviews (I never do), but when I do, I write them because the restaurant was super bomb. The food was outstanding! And the owner/chief (John) took time out of his day to talk with us and recommend nearby bars/attractions. Thanks guys. You rock.

This is maybe my third time here, now having been here in three different seasons and watched how the menu changed ... really fantastic this time. House special homemade orrechiette in a mustard cream sauce was to die for. Meatball appetizer was melt-in-your-mouth great. Great wine and beer selects. The charcuterie this time was all game proteins which I don't love, but their selections (and cheese options) are creative and adventurous.

This was a very fun place to try.
They serve reimagined comfort food with more sophistication, farm to table, organic, sustainable and seasonally fresh food. They are super accommodating to food sensitivities. The staff is very warm and friendly. Our wine was really delicious (Pinot). We had a wonderful time.

Brought my better half for a romantic anniversary dinner and what a find! Ambiance is phenomenal, food & drink exquisite, very attentive service and knowledgeable staff. We are looking forward to coming back for one of their themed tasting menus! Thank you for the great time we absolutely adore Hillside Supper Club.

Innovative food...very creative AND delicious! Went on a Monday night, and it was very quiet...I'm fairly certain that this was unusual, as when I've been to Hillside Supper Club on other days (and weekends), it's packed! Delightful staff too.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Hillside. Surprisingly, this was our first time there, being that we live not far away and visit Precita Park often. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Food was one of the best meals in recent times. It was creative, seasonal, fresh, beautiful to look at and the flavors were yum. Definitely on our rotation of regular places to go now.

We've passed by this place many times but always forget to try. This time, we remembered since my husband's Chariot lets him off almost right in front. The service was friendly, but the menu was limited. A couple of the dishes we wanted were sold out by 7:30 pm (this was a Thursday evening). The focaccia bread was outstanding (we had 2 servings), but the rest of the meal was just so-so. Probably good as a go-to for the neighborhood, but not worth a special trip.

Food was creative and excellent, except for a bit too much salt on the pasta, but still was delicious. The portions are really small and I'm not a big eater. The prices which are already a bit high for Bernal Heights. Don't split orders or you will go hungry! But all that being said, it is a lovely, romantic place with good service.
