Great food and gorgeous atmosphere!! Would definitely go back and recommend!!
Great food and atmosphere. Service was lacking and waitress was not really interested in whether or not we enjoyed our meal our time. Very unique place to have brunch. I would highly recommend for a enjoyable unique place for brunch.
such a cute and antique-y vibe! great southern comfort food, i got the chicken dinner and loved it!
Been here for 5 years, but first time visiting Hillside Farmacy. Brought some friends that were visiting from out of town. Great overall experience. Service was impeccable. Food was unique and plentiful. The overall vibe is cool and original.
Fantastic eatery while visiting Austin! The food was fresh and so delicious. Loved the nicoise salad and chocolate smore mousse for dessert!
Perfect! One of my favorite places in town
Started off by telling us we couldn’t split
Checks or have outside beverages instead of saying “good morning, welcome to hillside Farmacy”
Everything about Hillside Farmacy is above and beyond! Delicious food and drinks, very friendly wait staff and beautiful decor! Will definitely return!
On a quiet Thursday evening, we enjoyed the cocktails, pasta with shrimp , cerviche and oysters. Everything was excellent with vintage decor.
Foot was great! Very quaint place. Hostess could have been friendlier and server was a bit slow but overall a good experience.
I've eaten here many times with good results, but the chops tonight were so overcooked and overdone I won't be back. Shame on the chef!!
With the caveat that food was good but service was not
I'm not an oyster eater, so the whole raw bar concept was lost on my, but the burger, Brussels sprouts and mac & cheese were outstanding. Parking could be an issue - small lot behind the restaurant, minimal on-street parking.
Service was terrible. The waitress didn’t check on us once.
We're making this one of our regular stops now!! The hostess saw it was my girlfriend's birthday and walked us outside to a private little area where we were all by ourselves.
Only 5 choices for dinner? Not enough!! Starters also not available... poor.
Way too pricey, even for Austin. Food and service not worth the price.
Do you not recommend the food or French toast was completely raw with batter in the middle the bacon was burnt the outside the French toast was like Charbar and the potatoes were dry and hard only thing that was good was the eggs.
Definitely will not be going back and would not recommend
As usual the messy burger was great as was the chicken dinner, but the steak was the fattiest piece of meat I've seen served in a restaurant in years. Not a highlight.
Delicious food and amazing service! I highly recommend the mac&cheese appetizer!
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in years. The food was simple and perfect. The crab cakes had a hint of smokey paprika and were the best I’ve ever had. The greens and other vegetables were so good I wasn’t surprised to here that they came fresh from the owner’s farm. The service was patient and friendly. In addition the wine list and dessert were excellent and the finishing touch was a terrific cup of coffee at the end. I will make a point to visit this charming gem of a restaurant any time I’m in Austin.
We ordered the Tuesday night Angus Burger and Fries and the Shrimp Linguini and both were outstanding. The Burger special came with a Old Fashioned, which made it quite an outstanding value. My only disappointment of the evening was the small selection of draft beers available, although they had quite a few more in bottles and cans. Again though, the food was really well prepared. Shrimp was perfect and the pasta sauce was excellent. Small menu with good food.
We were a party of six who needed to have separate checks. Our waiter told us that the restaurant was not able to take more than 3 credit cards per party. We came up with a work around, and the waiter was very accommodating but there should be a way to handle the division and payment of the bill more easily.
Our families new favorite place to eat in ATX . Great service , food and decor.
Love this PLACE.
Food was awesome and such a charming place.
I treated my mom to Hillside for Mother’s Day and the service was lacking, as well as the food. I ordered the Shrimp Linguine which was overly salted and the shrimp did not taste right. My wife and I visit Hillside fairly regularly and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. I would normally recommend friends to go, but after this visit I don’t think I will.
First rate experience from beginning to end. Food was delicious and service was friendly and professional.
I have always loved Hillside Farmacy and especially appreciated the service and ambience this last visit. I highly recommend it.
Everything was great! Service was great went on a Monday morning and it was a great start to my day.
Service was pretty slow even though there weren't any other people in the restaurant.
We loved the food & the atmosphere. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable & attentive.Hillside is now our new favorite place to go!
Loved everything. Food service and ambience
Parents visiting from out of town
Very educated staff. Loved the recommendations that were offered and love when the server has a real pov vs riding the fence. Everything was fresh, delicious and very flavorful. Will definitely return and recommend.
It was delightful, the French toast was yummy squared. A real treat on a Monday morning!
We had a picture perfect dining experience — the food was delicious, service was great and the noise level was perfect for dinner conversation with our friends. Can’t wait to go again!
We were recommended this place and we were truly disappointed. We went on a Friday evening and half the menu wasn’t available to us and we then waited for over an hour for our meal. I guess they were having an off day but did not make up for it in anyway. Sorry, but we will go elsewhere from now on...
The chicken was unbelievable!! So glad I went with her recommendation. And reasonably priced for such incredible food!!
Fun girls trip.
