One of our favorite, if not most favorite, restaurants in the Hamptons. We always have a terrific meal, and the ambiance, especially in late fall and winter, is perfect for cold, wintry evenings! Service excellent as always!

Food was delicious, as was the cocktail I had. Decent wine by the glass selection. Restaurant was bustling but not noisy and tables were comfortably spaced so that every table had privacy - very comfortable with nice energy. The service was beyond willing - very friendly. My only caveats would be that it would be nice to have bread service, especially when you have hungry kids or teens at the table, and given the fact that the restaurant appeared to be completely full, I think they need a couple more servers - ours made every effort, and the bus boys stepped into the breach, but he was rushed off his feet. Actually, one more caveat - the only female staff I saw was the hostess at the front desk - would like to see some more women servers, i.e. the folks who actually make the most money on the floor, working there. All that said, we will definitely return.

A Sunday night in late Oct., do not exactly prime time. It’s busy and loud in the summer, so we picked this very quiet night - but not a great idea. Some of the food was very good: a hummus place for the table, a nicely prepared salmon. Some not so good, particularly a very chewy, not very tasteful homemade pasta. Service was erratic and slow (we find that’s typical, ironically, when business is slow- everything slows down.) we Maybe we’ll try again next summer - maybe not.

Always great food. Had wonderful service there a month ago but perhaps this was an off night. Super noisy and cold atmosphere and inattentive server effected our meal and those around us. Recently this place has been a very good bet so will give it another try.

Highway Restaurant is just simply the best restaurant out East for delictable meals from salad to dessert. I was never a fan of Kale salad until I discovered a kale salad here with the most delicate dressing, dressed with chips made from squash, and various tangy and sweet surprises. The fried calamari was so light and just the right amount with a nice spicy atoli very fresh. Then fresh burrata with multicolored beets nicely dressed. The late corn was grilled and dressed perfectly. And John's eggplant parmigiana light and flavorful. Best thing was the apple crumb dish. Simply superb. Fit for foodies, etc. One can honestly feel the loving preparation of each item on the menu. Warm, cosy, elegant, good wines, we can't say enough.

Everyone so nice; we were given our requested table and the front staff and wait staff were very helpful when the kitchen became backed-up. We did not mind but it was a very kind gesture. Food is superb.

Love this restaurant. The menu does not change often, but that is OK because many of the menu items are craveable: kale salad, chicken pot pie, roast chicken, eggplant parm, pork buns to name a few.

We enjoyed our meal at Highway Restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. Also, the noise level was low so we could engage in normal conversation. We intend to return.

The dinner was good. My friend was unhappy bc the kitchen refused to split a entree pasta that we were sharing as an appetizer.

The service was ok

What a great place. We had the tempura rock shrimp appetizer and I almost cancelled my entre to reorder the shrimp, but I was glad I didn't when I tried the homemade cavatelli. We all shared several apps, salads and entree's and everyone was memorable. I'm not a fan of eggplant parm, since it's not even a thing in Italy, but it was awesome. The wine selection is fantastic, especially since it is served in Zalto glasses. The service was attentive, but not pushy. Make sure you stop if you are in the area.

We were with friends and family. The service from start to finish was exceptional. The servers were attentive and seemed happy to be there. The menu allows the diner to chose from various ethnic platform, and the Chef manages to pull them off extremely well. Highly recommended.

Highway is our “go-to” in the Hamptons. Not only is the food and service excellent, the key word is “consistent”. In living here, it is often a hit or miss at many of the east end restaurants but not at Highway. It is consistently excellent. Regardless if it’s a Monday or Saturday, the food and service are always top notch. The atmosphere and staff are friendly and professional. If you have not been here, you are missing the best restaurant in the Hamptons.

I would highly recommend Highway. One of the best meals we have had in the Hamptons and some of the best service.

Food was good but they must not have had enough help that night. Waitress never asked if I wanted a second glass of wine. I addition they fed us so fast that we were out of there in about an hour. Not very relaxing.

My new favorite place! Can't wait to get back there again.

Get the crab papaya salad!!! So good we got seconds.

Great host and server! Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere!!

All four of us ordered different entrees and each were delicious and reasonable portions. The server was lovely and attentive. Can't wait to come back for another meal.

I'm a long time fan. Food is always very good. The waitstaff get the job done but literally hover over you or are just overbearing...even with a customer like me who is well aware that tables have to be turned and am always mindful of that.
