A nice place for special occasions. I loved the service.. limited vegetarian options but the choices were enough and excellent ambience and staff. I would definitely recommend to others and visit again as well!

Overall experience was outstanding. As it always is. We frequent this restaurant often. My only problem at my last visit was my entree. There was a limited menu due to covid. I tried the New York strip steak that was on as a special. It was horrible!!!!!! Tough, fatty and a lot of Grizel throughout . I never complain about a bad meal. I figure every once in a while it happens . After getting the bill I noticed that this special steak was $58. Not worth it! Next time get the pork chop, it's delicious!!!!!!!!!

Always good. This was our first time back here since covid reopening. Was as good as always. Highly recommend. Their regular menu is always fantastic, especially the filet. Their specials are the way to go though. This time we had duck with foie grax. My wife doesn't even like duck, yet she ate mine off the plate and loved it. Only con here is their fish dishes tend to be overcooked and lack flavoring. We are never disappointed by everything else, though.

Took a friend there for one of those "special" birthdays. She absolutely loved it--the view out the window, the overall ambience of the building (including the "birds" on the ceiling), and the food and service. As someone who enjoys gourmet eating she found her meal exceedingly delicious (as did I). Definitely a place to return.

Excellent food and service - the view just can't be beat. Highlawn has re-set the dining room and it's perfect.

And for the nervous Nellies, the staff all had masks on. Everything was clean and sanitary and spaced 6 feet a part.

Christmas dinner. Been going there the past 19 years.

We went for the 4 course Christmas dinner and it was pricey but really fabulous. The food is truly delicious and the service excellent. What a beautiful and classy restaurant this is. The view of the NYC skyline just adds to this great experience.

Everything was wonderful. And we would have one suggestion. The antipasto dish meant for 3 to 4 people could have had more of each selection
Perhaps the waiter could have suggested it to the kitchen since he knew from our order conversation.

Very disappointing, no beautiful tree in the lobby of course no seats at the bar menu was very limited our service was good and of course the ambience was wonderful as always. You certainly cannot beat that view.

We had a really nice time. Food was outstanding. Very pricey though. I believe they try to make up for less customers by increasing the menu prices. But who can blame them? They all try to make it through these difficult times. Service was great, we felt very safe with nicely spaced out tables and thorough cleaning protocols. We will definitely be back soon.

Given the Covid donning challenges that all restaurants face the High Lawn did a great job in making us feel special. Food was great - service outstanding and the wine (2013 Hess the Lion Cab) simply spot on!

This used to be my favorite place the portions were small. 4 drinks at the bar cost me $95 without tips that is outrageous one vodka on the rocks one Cosmo one beer and one house wine. Way overpriced

My family and I were impressed with The Highlawn Pavilion. It was one of the best dining experiences that we ever had. Everything was perfect from the atmosphere to courteous professional staff. Well worth the expense. We will definitely revisit The Highlawn!!

As long time customers, we are really pleased to see the menu and specials had new life injected into it. The chef has really stepped up his game. It was our second time to have Lucas, as our waiter (I believe that was his name) and he was excellent!!! We hope to get him every time! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Thanksgiving pre fixe dinner. Great choices besides the tradition meal. We had the halibut and salmon. Both we outstanding and perfectly prepared. Excellent experience in both the food and the ambiance. The view didn’t hurt.

Tables were spaced appropriately and the service was excellent. You didn't feel rushed and the waiters were very attentive. The food was plentiful and very good. The wine list was a bit slim but the malbec was good.

Had thanksgiving here with my six year old for lunch. Service and food was top notch. They made our experience memorable. The view was amazing too.

It was a night to remember with our family, especially during these days, and after having had to cancel our wedding/reception which would have been held at Highlawn Pavilion . It was a beautiful clear night, gorgeous view of the city, the service, food, was everything we expected it to be. The waiter was funny and attentive, but not overly so. We expected to pay more, location is everything. Can’t wait to come back!

In these crazy times our party of 4 felt totally comfortable with the spacing, high ceilings, beautiful view and setting. The staff is always so professional, knowledge about food preparation & wine selection. We love coming here and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a lovely evening!

It was a dreary day and we needed to make it special..
Highlawn Pavilion was the overwhelming choice. The atmosphere is Old World charming and Charming. From the moment we stepped through the doors , Our Host sat us at a beautiful table with a wonderful view Of tree tops and NYC . Perfect.. The wait staff was well trained and helpful and showed a great personality. The Menu is what I call a
" Dart Menu" Choose any thing it's great . We settled on the Filet Minion ,and the Double cut Pork chop, Both cooked Perfectly to our specs. only after a relaxing cocktail of course. We lavished enjoying our entrees and opted to have an after dinner drink in the well staffed , supplied very comfortable Bar. It's on the top of our list !!!

The tables were not spaced out adequately. Our sitting was very close to the next table. It was too close for comfort, especially at this time of the pandemic.

The atmosphere and views were outstanding. The food was good but I would’ve expected more from them. Also, the menu was extremely small. I understand it’s limited due to covid however most other restaurants are offering a decent sized selection. I would’ve liked to have seen a larger selection of food and a little bit high quality/creativity with the options.

We wanted to celebrate a big birthday dining outdoors. The weather was exceptionally warm and beautiful for November which worked in our favor. We dined early and had a wonderful dinner overlooking the Manhattan skyline. Highlawn remains a special place and a wonderful dining experience.
