A Modern Approach to Southern-Inspired Cuisine

Aside from the classic cocktail, a highball is a train conductor’s signal to depart at full speed. It was how Central Florida’s abundant harvests moved from field to table, an iconic symbol of the region’s agricultural might. Highball & Harvest (H&H) pays homage to this legacy, with menus laden with ingredients from local farms, as well as our own green-growing efforts. We pluck fresh produce from our on-site 7,000- square-foot garden at Whisper Creek Farm. Handcrafted cocktails are infused with seasonal fruits and herbs, and create a culinary adventure that is as inspiring as it is memorable.

Farm to table concept is noteworthy, but nothing on the menu really stood out for me. The Ritz-Carlton is a nice hotel, but the ambiance seemed too stuffy for me. YMMV

Awesome southern inspired menu! Shrimp and grits was delicious! Trendy vibe and ambiance. Loved their cocktails especially their version of a Moscow mule. The Chocolate Pecan Pie is a must!!

Outstanding service and a truly amazing farm to table experience. Everything you’d expect from the Ritz Carlton in a rustic, yet chic setting. Custom cocktails, changing menus with what’s available locally and from their farm and comfortable seating. Though a bit of a splurge, it was a fantastic meal and impeccable service. I will definitely return.

Great cocktails, delicious food, and a beautiful view. All the staff were on point and perfectly trained in their roles. The only thing I didn’t love were the purple grits that accompanied my grouper, but the creamy mashed potatoes made up for it.

The restaurant is industrial chic. I loved the décor.
Our service was excellent and nothing about the experience was less than terrific.
I had the fish of the day (tile fish). The fish was cooked perfectly- although I found the accompanying lentils to be a little too earthy for the fish.
Overall, I loved my meal and would recommend the spot to anyone nearby in Orlando.

Really cool looking restaurant with a vintage industrial vibe and southern eclectic cuisine. We enjoyed the food and the service was very good. Also they had live music which was cool and not too loud.

Ryan our server was great. I ordered the H and H chef selection. It was supposed to be a great piece of pork cooked to perfection. Mine was over cooked. I was never asked how I would like the meat. Would go again. Will choose another entree though. The shrimp and grits were fantastic.

Beautiful restaurant but service not good at all. Food was mediocre. Four women in our 50's. Friendly and not demanding. So they just made us wait for everything. Was hoping better.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by an amazing staff! The hostess was so kind and you could tell she enjoyed her job!
Our waiter was attentive and on point. My husband asks a million questions about the menu anytime we go anywhere, and the waiter was able to knowledgeably answer each question!
We will absolutely go back!

The service was very slow. Our appetizer came out right before the entrees and it was cold (we ordered the grilled oysters). The food was over cooked. My chicken was so dry I had to sip water to swallow it and my husbands steak was well past the medium rare he ordered. The side dishes were much the same way: dried out and over cooked. Even though I only took one bite the server never asked me what was wrong or if there was an issue with the food. He did try to comp our dessert citing the slow kitchen but we didn’t care to eat anything else. When the bill arrived our two cocktails had been comped which was nice but if they thought there was an issue I would expect our server or a manager to inquire. Despite a very nice atmosphere we will not be back

While the food was superb, it was our waitress, Angelica, that created a memorable visit. H&H is a superb restaurant. The menu offers an eclectic array of unique, one-of-a-kind specialties. If you enjoy a comfortable ambience enhanced by terrific service then H&H is the place for you.

This restaurant, in the Ritz Carlton, has a very very limited menu. My food was not very good and I left starving. It was also so noisy at lunch we had to yell to make ourselves heard. Would never go back. In perspective, we frequently stay at Ritz Carltons around the world, eat out very frequently and have diverse palates. It simply is sub par, especially for a Ritz.

Had an amazing time at H&H, ahead some drinks at bar prior to reservation. Bartender/Mixologist RB was amazing, was attentive and very passionate for his craft. Started the night right. We just moved to Orlando six months ago and this was by far our best experience at any restaurant. And we live in Winter Park where the “restaurant scene” is supposedly the best in Orlando. If this was a local restaurant for us it would be a weekly thing.

We had a large group for a customer business lunch (14) and this restaurant accommodated the very diverse tastes of all those who attended. The restaurant is set in the lower level of the Ritz which was lovely. The noise level is low or non-existent which for a restaurant of this size and openness was perfect for our business meeting.

This is one of the best restaurant s on the planet. Bourbon and Whiskey drinks are phenomenal. The food choices are diverse and fantastic. We eat here every time we come to Orlando.

Phenomenal experience. The food and drink were both exceptional. Our server, Hunter, was one of the most capable and interesting waiters we have ever come across. Robbie, our bartender, was a true artist who created delicious and innovate drinks. Highly recommend all around.

We expected a romantic evening, but there were a lot of kids (We have 2 children, but we’re having a weekend away to celebrate my husband’s birthday). Every table but ours had children. And also live entertainment. We were way over dressed. Most people wore shorts and tee shirts. Although, the menu seemed more high end than casual, I was shocked to see it so casual at The Ritz. The entrance to the restaurant was covered in plastic because they were painting and doing repairs. We weren’t even sure we were in the right place at first. I was shocked to see this happening at such an upscale resort. My initial attraction to this restaurant was its farm to table menu. The food was great and the bread appetizer was amazing. Our servers were fantastic. One even did magic tricks for us. The restaurants decor was nice. My only suggestion would be to advertise some place that this is a casual, kid-friendly restaurant and maybe that there Is construction going on.
