Highball & Harvest
Aside from the classic cocktail, a highball is a train conductor’s signal to depart at full speed. It was how Central Florida’s abundant harvests moved from field to table, an iconic symbol of the region’s agricultural might. Highball & Harvest (H&H) pays homage to this legacy, with menus laden with ingredients from local farms, as well as our own green-growing efforts. We pluck fresh produce from our on-site 7,000- square-foot garden at Whisper Creek Farm. Handcrafted cocktails are infused with seasonal fruits and herbs, and create a culinary adventure that is as inspiring as it is memorable.

A friend and I have attended the same conference in Orlando for the last 2 years and we have eaten at Highball and Harvest each time and have absolutely loved it! We look forward to the experience...
Overpriced. Wine was excessively over priced. Service was great.
Great food and service, eaten there before.
, would recommend
Our daughter found this place and we are so glad she did! Interesting to find a casual Southern style place in a Ritz Carlton. Comfortable, warm and the staff were excellent! A definite the next time we are in Orlando!
Menu needs more choices. Choices were overpriced
Although Farm to Table, it is mostly “comfort” food and not so much healthy options.
Casual atmosphere was nice. We felt the menu was limited.
The meals were very nice. Wine list way over priced.
Amazing! Our server was attentive & thorough. The sommelier, Gary made the experience incredible by helping to pair cocktails & wines with all of our meals.
Our waiter Robbie was fantastic and made our Christmas Eve dinner that much more amazing. Food was excellent, the attention to our daughter’s nut allergy and overall impeccable service topped this experience off!
The best steaks we ever had were served to 3 of us. The shrimp and grits were outstanding and the red snapper was delicious and served over an onion gravy ,creating a tasty combination. The mashed potatoes were absolutley the best ever! Our server was pleasant, polite, and timed every single thing perfectly. This was without a doubt the best Christmas Eve meal we have experienced in Orlando. We live here , and we have tried a lot of places. We brought our family with us and they also loved it. We have decided whenever we have a VIP client we will be returning. The gingerbread house ad in the newspaper, by the way, is what made us choose Highball & Harvest over all the resorts and other restaurants. It was delighfully created and enjoyable. The tables were set at a perfect distance apart and the atmosphere was well done at the restaurant to have a perfectly peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable meal. Well done H & H!!!!!!
Robbie and Ryan displayed impeccable professionalism and service was amazing and food was delightful in a beautiful setting!
Comida excepcional, una atencion casi personalizada hacen que la experiencia sea espectacular!
If you and your partner or dinner party are foodies, this is a great place in Orlando. The quality of the product is excellent and fresh, and there are some things made differently, presented differently and or with different taste that set this restaurant apart from others. I call this upscale southern comfort food and it is just very tasty and enjoyable. First class service.
Two criticisms but only because it should be fair: the price point is high and this is not a family night out for most. Second, it can be a bit noisy because it is located below the lobby of the Ritz Carlton hotel, however, it is not upsetting or distracting.
Would not hesitate to return and will
Always delicious food and great service! Visit whenever we are in Orlando!
The butternut squash soup was not as hot as I would have liked, and pretty watery. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was barely spicy. But the service and ambiance was good.
The option pulled up under brunch but when got there they closed the breakfast buffet we like at noon so regular menu was almost nonexistent of actual brunch items. They allow us to order off menu still eggs Benedict but really went there for the breakfast buffet before the car show.
All the buffet food was cold except the made to order eggs, which was hot but over cooked because the chef was very busy by herself, she did not have anyone helping her. The selection was smaller than I was here last time couple years ago.
The service was not very good, the waitress seemed like we were a bother. I told her the sugar container was out of stevia packs, she just slammed another sugar container down and walked away... that container had 1 stevia pack...
She came checked on us only once and just seemed annoyed when I asked for more juice. The waiter at a nearby table was more helpful and pleasant.
I had a hard time finding anyone to refill my teapot, when I finally got the waitress’ attention, she brought me a to-go cup (which I didn’t ask for), so I felt very rushed.
I had indicated a special occasion on my open table reservation, but that was not acknowledged during my visit.
The food and service quality definitely fell below what I would expect from the Ritz Carlton. I was disappointed.
The fried chicken was outstanding, everything was. Deviled eggs were awesome. Great place.
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with family. The service, food and ambiance were all fantastic!
I love this restaurant and make certain that I visit every time I stay in Orlando at the Ritz or JW Marriott. The food was delicious. The server was professional, made excellent suggestions and was most attentive with a positive attitude. The double downer : Squash Soup and 1/2 Nashville Chicken Sandwich was delicious. My guest enjoyed the Pimento Burger.
I was very disappointed in the temperature of the food. The only item hot was the omelet and that’s because is was freshly made to order . I spent over $120 Dollars on Breakfast there , it was me, my wife , and daughter. I expected the food to be hot like the potatoes, sausage gravy , sausage , scramble eggs . Instead it was cold . I was not happy .
Food was average for the price nothing wow .. expect more for what they say and the location ... $30 for braised beef and Grits ? .. expensive for what they serve ...
Bar selection excellent .. Food sucks !
We love this restaurant & it continuously receives the highest marks from us in ALL categories. We go 2-3 times a year every time we’re in Orlando. Food is innovative & delicious, service is the very best, ambiance is comfortable. Only down sides are it is a bit noisy & the light level at the table is too low to read the menu. We did mention this to Management.
Excellent restautant where Southern food meets contemporary. You can tell by the menu and presentation that their culinary team is something special.
Drinks were good but not excellent, which was a little surprising given how unique the ingredients appeared. (E.g., a take on a Moscow mule using blueberry jam).
Appetizers, however, were to die for... the wings are top notch and expertly prepared. Highly recommend! My wife loved her crab cakes and shes a bit of crab cake aficionado.
Dinner was ample and excellent. We were stuffed but made room for.dessert and glad we did! Our server, Ryan (who was attentive and exceptional all night) suggested the house made mini donuts. Brilliant!
The restaurant was a little stuffy (warm) early in the evening so someone opened a door. Unfortunately we were sitting next to the door on a cool night and needed to close it. Not a big deal but there might be a better solution. Also the restaurant started off quiet with an amazing female musician, but like most bar areas in with hardwoods, it got loud by the end of the evening. If it's a factor for you, just eat earlier.
Will definitely be back!
Very very cold
Always love Highball and Harvest. Robert is great. We will be back soon.
Hands down one of the best dining experiences! Ryan, (I think that’s his name?) our server was on point with every detail. He was very knowledgeable with the menu and set the expectation perfectly from drinks to apps, to dinner options. He was laid back and attentive! The food was exceptional. Pickle brine wings, trigger fish, and ribeye were all 10’s! We loved all of our adult beverages, I recommend trying them all! I would highly recommend to plan a date night or girls night here!
For a Ritz Carlton I found it disappointing. They seem to be cutting costs by keeping the place hot. They are short staffed from the valet to the Highball and Harvest. However the staff throughout were outstandingly accommodating.
Service was fantastic...what a great team! First time here for meeting a friend staying in the hotel, but it’s worth a return visit with or without a hotel guest to catch up with.
Excellent good with great service.
Coming back for sure.
Our server was FANTASTIC!
Our son has food allergies and Chef Kathy and staff were BEYOND accommodating. She made us feel safe and the food was out of this world! Thank you!
Lovely dinner. Great food and service. Only issue was dim lighting made it hard to read the menu. The waiter assisted by bringing us a lighted wine menu that lit up the table a bit. We celebrated 2 birthdays and the cake dessert they provided was exceptional, as was the entire meal. I had shrimp with grits, which was lovely. Will go again.
Had a great time. We have eaten here before and it was just as good. Very good variety and everything was fresh! Will definitely come back again!
We have been to this restaurant several times and usually enjoy it. They missed the mark and disappointed this time. We live in Florida, catch and eat fish very often. Two people in our party ordered the grilled Cobia. It smelled awful and tasted even worse. Our server asked several inappropriate questions about “not caring for it” until I forcefully told him it was spoiled. Not very professional. The back up entree orders took an extremely long time and came out after everyone was finished for some time already. Ruined the dining experience. Due to the automatic 20% gratuity, the server didn’t seem to care very much. In addition, he never once refilled the wine glasses from the nice bottle we purchased.
Service was awesome and everyone from hostess to both our waiters were attentive. made my friend's birthday very special. Definitely come back again.
The service was impeccable. The food was excellent. Especially the deviled eggs and the honey. For dessert we had the pecan chocolate pie and the apple pie. Both were excellent. For the appetizer we had the baked and fried chicken wings. Not something I would typically order but our friends told us we had to try them. Glad we did.
Dined here several times and each time it gets better and better!
The Cobia dish is a creative mix that sounds crazy but pairs amazingly together!!!
Lenny has waited on us a few times and he makes your experience all the more enjoyable! He is totally polished, professional and fun all at the same time!!
Ask for him!
You won’t be disappointed!!!
An excellent meal and we had a nice quiet spot in the back of the restaurant. The drinks, meal and service were outstanding. I’d highly recommend the Johnny Cakes appetizer to anyone. I had the shrimp and grits which were fantastic and my girlfriend enjoyed her scallops. It was her birthday and I informed the staff prior and they make a point to decorate a slice of the delicious red velvet cake. As a bonus our desert and our after dinner drinks were comped. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone visiting
Love this restaurant! Our server, Mouniare- is/was amazing. I visited this restaurant last year when we stayed at the JW two times and again this year. Great food and great service!
