High West Refectory
High West Supper Club
The High West Supper Club is our newest offering. We invite you to enjoy an evening with us for a chef’s menu served family style, live music, and of course, delicious whiskey!
We offer a menu of the chef’s choosing in a communal dining setting Thursday evenings throughout the winter season. Reservations are available. To make a reservation for groups larger than 8, please give us a call.
Dinner: $40 per guest
As our weekly Chef’s menu is set, please contact us in advance if you have a food allergy or dietary restriction. We will do our best to accommodate.
We will be continuing our popular Sunday brunches through the summer season.
Excellent place for brunch and whiskey! High West Silver is the absolute best! Beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. Our server Sterling took great of us. The musicians were excellent and really added to the ambiance. The food was also excellent! We will definitely be back!
Food was awesome, service was just okay.
Our server didn’t greet us for at least 10 minutes upon being seated. We wanted to order drinks, so we sat there watching multiple servers glance at our table, then watched them ask each other whose table it was. There was a woman who seemed to be the manager looking around the restaurant, I tried to make eye contact with her so she’d see that we hadn’t been greeted yet—it never worked.
It was our anniversary, we were seated at a table where both of us had to ensure the person behind us wasn’t getting up to go to the buffet at the same time—tables were SO close together. I could barely squeeze out of my corner seat without booty-bumping the lady seated in the neighboring table (and I’m not abnormally large).
This is our second visit, it definitely was not as impressive as the first.
This place was fantastic. We came here for our daughter's 21st birthday. We weren't expecting a buffet for the brunch, but that's okay. It was the most fantastic brunch buffet I've ever had!! We're definitely coming back and I can't wait. The ride up on the bus was great too. Mr. Bill was full of information and it made the short ride up very enjoyable.
I have brought several groups here to enjoy supper club. I wish supper club continued throughout the winter season.
The Brunch is best quality and standard. Perfect for a motherinlaw visit, kids, family or friends! Love the experience
It was an absolute delight to brunch there and tour the distillery. The view is amazing and the food was great.
What a beautiful place they’ve created!
We went for the Sunday brunch and loved our experience from beginning to end. The food was delicious and fresh.
Bill, the shuttle Driver, made the short ride from the parking lot up fun and informational.
The live band was amazing.
The grounds were beautiful, we wish we had planned more time to walk around.
We’ll be back!
This was our fourth visit to HW Refectory but our first for Thursday night family style dinner.
Didn't know there would be live music and the duo on hand was terrific. Staff is convivial and
aim to please. Food was served at a nice pace. Not knowing what to expect, we enjoyed the
food selection for the evening and felt well fed by the completion. We might have liked a bit
more of that awesome pineapple upside-down cake but perhaps they did us a favor in keeping
the portion "controlled". Lots of interesting beverage options, and of course, whiskey pairings!
Exceeded our expectations. Well worth the drive.
Wonderful brunch!!! Definitely a splurge for us, but well worth it in our opinion. Beautiful location, great selection and live music. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. Looking forward to doing the whiskey tasting.
Our server Jane was outstanding!
Love the atmosphere love the food love the drinks already have plans to come back.
We so much enjoyed this experience, we had no idea what was up there , a total surprise!
Very friendly service, food good, liked the family style, price high but almost worth it,
Music good but poor aquatic so very noisy.
Will for sure go again maybe for Sunday branch.
Our thirty something kids said we needed to go and they were right. Wonderful ambiance and service
5th visit. Favorite Park City restaurant. Ambiance is great live music is a nice touch. Service is top notch. Food is always terrific and it is tough to beat the drinks. Terrific experience....cant wait to go back.
Wonderful experience from start to finish! Ambiance, food and service was impeccable.
Always a good brunch.
Sunday Brunch is simply Amazing and never disappoints each time we go
We went for Brunch on Labor Day weekend. The reservation had been made well in advance. However, we had to wait for our table. The size of the service area had tripled since our last visit. The place was mobbed and noisy. The service was slow. We had the impression that the refrectory had tried to expand but did not support the increased number of clients adequately. The food was good but very expensive at 40 dollars a person. The increase in the price was not associated with an increase in the quality of the food or the experience. We will not be going back.
Book the distillery tour first. The tours fill up quickly.
Beautiful location. I would come back solely for the amazing ambiance and beautiful views. Our server was very good and the live music was nice. I am not a huge fan of buffets, and I wish it was a regular menu. But, for a buffet, I thought most of the food was quite good, especially the eggs, bison, and biscuits with gravy. Some other options, were not as fresh or appetizing. Overall, would definitely come back and would love to visit for dinner.
Always a spectacular Sunday brunch. And if you catch a good weather day and can sit outside it goes from amazing to sublime, which was our visit yesterday. Just go. It’s always good.
This might be my new favorite dining experience for impressing someone with a unique Utah dining experience. We loved it.
An absolutely perfect evening! The meal was beyond excellent. Thank you
Excellent live music! The seared Ahi Tuna was the star of the menu. Great team effort by the staff; Jane was a highlight.
We loved to have Sunday Brunch every Sunday at the High West Refectory if we could. It's just that good!
Beautiful setting, fabulous food and live entertainment. It's beautiful and we highly recommend it.
Beautiful setting for an excellent dinner on the patio. Our waiter, Bobby was very attentive and the food was delicious. We had a family style dinner of Steelhead trout, beef tips with bourbon mushroom glaze, asparagus, risotto with vegetables and farro. The dessert was fabulous; fresh fruit compote with a maple reduction and bourbon flavored whipped cream. We even got to watch the full moon come up over the mountains!
We went for brunch on Sunday. This was our second time we have gone for brunch and it was excellent. The ham was juicy and tender. The biscuits and gravy were also so good! As always the High West cocktails were outstanding.
The environment was nice. The food was good, but expensive for a buffet. I loved the live music. I would have liked to have had more to do after dining, or even just more places to sit and relax and take in the views. It felt like such a production to get up there, so after we ate, we wandered around for a bit but got bored, so we left. But all in all, it was a nice experience, but maybe a one-time experience.
The facility is stunning. We went on a beautiful Sunday morning and loved soaking in the sun up at the ranch. It is incredible what they have built. We were, however, disappointed in the brunch. First, you have to park at the bottom and wait for a shuttle bus to take you up to the facility. It's time consuming and creates a rush of people who all show up to check in at the restaurant at the same time. We had to wait about 25 minutes for a shuttle after we finished. The brunch is not over the top, pretty basic breakfast overall, the desserts were great. For $40, it was a bit expensive for such an underwhelming spread. Definitely worth it as a one-time thing to see the facility and make an experience out of it, but as a local, no need to keep going back.
You really cannot beat the setting. What a beautiful day. Food over all was good, but they really need to look at a few things. The dark chocolate mouse was just plain nasty. Waaaayyy too much salt. Brownie was dry and tasteless. Desserts were a disappointment. But the red pozole with chips and avocado cream was delicious. Green Goddess dressing on the salad was yummy. Drinks were great. The tasting flight of whisky was great. Cheese plate was just odd. Need better selection. Leg of lamb was delicious. So food inconsistent. Biggest problem is the service. The ONLY person that was remotely pleasant was the young lady at the door.
Every server in the dining area was not happy to be there, and it showed. It is really impossible to get pleasant servers in Utah? Really?
Great service, food and cocktails. Complete with an amazing view
The food was superb, service was very knowledgeable and friendly. Scenery was stunning and we will be back. We sat right next to the band and it was fantastic. One thing we noticed was that not a single person was on their cell phone. Everyone was engaged and present. It was delightful
Great cocktails. Family style dining with delicious but a bit cold food. Lovely setting. Main issue we have was communication. Left 2 emails and 2 voicemail to find out basic info. No reply. There are no tours with dinner. No place for a cocktail prior to dinner despite what we were told.
Food was wonderful and the views were beautiful. There was a band at night which was great.
We love coming here for Sunday brunch. My only complaint/recommendation is that they make you park in a lower parking lot and shuttle you up. There is only one shuttle and they driver, while very nice, waits a reallly long time. Presumably this is to get as many folks as possible but it would be so much faster to take a few more trips. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and arrived at the actual restaurant 20 minutes after our reservation, so get there early. Otherwise it was delightful as always.
Park City vacation
Great food, amazing views, and awesome staff! A little on the pricey side but worth it!
Fabulous brunch, food was delicious, setting was gorgeous, the band was great. It was a wonderful afternoon spent in a beautiful setting, can't wait to go back.
