We had a great time celebrating out 5th anniversary here. The calamari was amazing. My husband had the jambalaya with seafood and I had the short rib. Both dishes were absolutely delicious!

This was the first time my friends had High Street Caffe and they were super excited when we invited them here. I got the crayfish, shrimp, and scallop jambalaya, my husband and friend's husband both got the red snapper and jambalaya, and my friend got a salad. My husband and I noticed that the jambalaya was a little different but that didn't take away from how good it was. The bananas foster was good but I think it may have been made with less ice cream. It definitely was a great night and I know we will all be back. We did get the seat I requested, Table 8 in the window. There is just more room there because everywhere else it is very packed.

The owner decided to close despite that we had a reservation for 7 people for my birthday dinner. No one from the restaurant bothered to call or let us know. We showed up to a dark and locked place. Every other restaurant, shop, pizza place was open except High Street. This is unacceptable and shows a total disregard for the customer. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Horrible way to treat people.

Our favorite place, period! Food is always great, drinks are a great value as you get an honest pour always. Service is always friendly and on top of their game. The ambiance is perfectly lit not too loud or quiet and the room set up is great. My only critique is the TV. I think it's unnecessary to have the TV on unless there is an important sporting event on (which there is more than not). This is very minor but I prefer no TV at a restaurant unless it is a sports bar. But a better place to take a date or dine with friends does not exist especially in Chester County (and we've done the research).

Arrived on time for an early reservation for dinner. Host was pleasant and our waitress was terrific throughout the evening. My Moscow mule was perfection and my husband ordered a beer, which they comped because they tapped it and the serving was just under a full glass.. very nice! My husband and I shared the spinach salad, plenty for both of us. He ordered the pork chop, which was the best I've ever tasted and was done perfectly! I had the blackened chicken, shrimp and scallops over dirty rice, which was probably the best meal I've ever had. We've been coming to High Street Caffe for almost as long as it's been opened and with the excellent dining experience we had this past Saturday, we'll continue to patronize this very wonderful restaurant. Cheers to the Chef!

I have eaten here a few times over the last 15 years. Food is always exceptional. I'm not a big fan of super spicy and you can find items on the menu that aren't spicy at all. The portion sizes are pretty big so its best to go with half portions unless you want to bring home what you didn't finish and have it the next day because its still great. I am always impressed!

We have been patrons of High St. for 18 years. Over the years we have grown to love this restaurant and go every chance we get. For us it is our place to celebrate milestones and special occasions. I’ve traveled far and wide and have not had better food than this restaurant turns out every time. Every time we visit we start with at least the blackened alligator and end with the bananas foster. We usually try the specials as there is always something exciting and new. We have never had a bad experience and love the staff. We have gotten used to the fun vibe and tight seating. It’s all part of the experience that transports you for an hour or two to another level of dining that is rare in Chester County.

Went to Vudu Lounge before a show at WCU theater. We had blackened chicken, scallops, and shrimp on dirty rice. It was excellent. Service was friendly. One downside, parking is really tough in the whole area. Looked for nearly half an hour finally got lucky in a construction zone. Next time in the area will definitely go again.

My boyfriend and I can count on Vudu for a delicious, fun date night consistently. The fun yet nice ambiance make the any meal feel like a special occasion. Of course, we can never turn down the jambalaya. The jambalaya is ridiculously good, the cocktails are creative, the wine and beer list is great, and service and the overall vibe are really what pulls it all together. Love coming to Vudu, we always leave saying "we need to come more often!!"

We went for an early Valentine's celebration. Was our first time at this restaurant. The food and service was great! No complaints! I'm not good with spicy foods so I was happy the menu had plenty of options for me. Forewarning that the tables are pretty packed in there, so if you want a romantic evening with some privacy and to not really hear the convo at the next table, choose a different spot. But this place is awesome for good food and great service! We will come back for sure! So many awesome dishes to try!
