We had a wonderful times everything was perfect! Jenkins selected an excellent bottle of wine for us! Love High Steaks !
Incredible all around.
Our waitress Elizabeth was very helpful and efficient it made for a pleasant dinning pleasure
The steak was perfectly cooked. The baked potato was too big and wasn't that good. The service was very good. Overall, the meal was very expensive.
We went to High Steaks as it has been something we have wanted to try for years, and boy do we wish we did not wait so long to try this place out. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the quality of overall experience was above expectations. We will definitely return to have another meal at High Steaks. Too bad our gaming experience did not go as good as out meal :(
Fried Chicken was amazing! Liked the family sides for sharing. Can’t wait to go back.
We've been coming to High Steaks since it opened as Austin's Steakhouse. We had an unfortunate experience in February. Spoke with the manager Ashley, and shared our concerns over the the quality of the prime rib and the inability to the kitchen to get the meat cooked as ordered - twice! Ashley was attentive and apologetic. Offered to pick up the bill, but that's not why we gave our feedback - for a free meal. Fast forward to April - wedding anniversary dinner. Ashley remembered us! And boy was the meal fantastic!! The service was terrific (Thank you Ebon). Again, my husband had the prime rib. DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection. I had the fried chicken breasts with sage gravy - heavenly. The whole experience was just perfect!!
The food was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I eat here every time we visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Our server Mike is awesome. This is the second time we’ve had him and he doesn’t disappoint. There was a little bit of cigarette smoke smell in the restaurant which was a bummer.
Everything was except the scallops. The scallops were gritty! I could not eat them. Everybody else loves their food!
We were seated promptly and requested a booth which they had. Good selections on the menu. Nice ambience but a little dark for reading the menu. Nice size portions. I had the day scallops and they were great. My wife had the crab legs and she felt they were just average. A very nice restaurant but very expensive
Going to Thunder Valley High Steaks restaurant has become a yearly tradition for my birthday
when we are visiting Lincoln. It is one of the best dining experiences we've ever had and
look forward to it every year. It's like an an experience from the old fancy steakhouses of the past but with newer ambiance. The staff is skilled, attentive but not buggy. The food is delicious - especially the steaks, and we raise our own beef! The dessert menu could use a few more traditional recipes.
First time experience for a birthday occasion. Had a great time. Food was fabulous and service was over the top. Mike was the best waiter we've ever had at any restaurant. Thanks for the great time. We'll be back.
We were seated fast because of the reservations. We ordered the crispy Brussels. Unforrunate that the exterior as s burned and the interior was raw. It lacked seasoning unless it was all burned off. The lamb was cooked to temperature. But they add a burned candied bacon to it. Leave the bacon as a garnish. We also had the fillet, perfect flavor and temperature. The cream corn brulee was also very good. Be ready for the sweetness. Over all, it was a good meal. Just not a fan of the brussels.
Very good first experience and for celebrating our anniversary
We come here often and always have a great meal. The staff is super friendly and the food is great!
The prime rib was especially wonderful this evening. A few previous times the cuts have not been very good.
Amazing service they make you feel like you are a king and they cater to you all your needs
A 3-person party with reservations should not have to sit in the bar with the high noise level and television screens. But, if you are in the bar, you shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes for a drink to arrive! For d was good, but service was atrocious: long wait for drinks, with no acknowledgement from server; steaks delivered barely 5 minutes after salads; we had to request steak knives and wait for them to arrive. Additionally, when you inform a restaurant that you’re celebrating a birthday, there’s usually something offered to the birthday person. This was an extremely disappointing meal.
Very Good service but extremely expensive for mediocre food. 11oz Filet mignon was very good but prime rib and rib eye steaks were very fatty and lacked the flavor they should bring. Side dishes were overcooked and salty. Loud atmosphere as well. Definitely will not be going back or recommending to anyone.
Really good food and excellent, personable service.
Normally would recommend for good food and good service, this last visit was honestly the worst yet. Food was not good service wasn’t great. Very disappointed. Most likely be a while before I try it again!!
Wagyu beef is the most amazing beef we have ever had. So worth the price. Lego my wagyu....
Antonio was our server and gave us an excellent experience for our son’s birthday. The steak was a little over cooked but that was not the servers fault.
Food was awful. I would not recommend eating here if you're craving fish or seafood, not good and way over-priced. This place may be a good steak place though, we did not try the steaks. Service was good but food terrible. Go to the buffet for good food.
Great food, wonderful staff, quiet venue. Tuesday night special is prime rib that is so good at a great price. Staff has always been so helpful with their suggestions.
Second time there. Great food and service
Our waiter Michael was exceptional. Food was fantastic. A truly lovely experience for my fathers 85th birthday dinner!
For the price that you pay, $59 for a 22 oz bone in Rib Eye and $54 for a 20oz New York, the quality of meat wasn't great. You would expect for melt in your mouth type steak and this wasn't it. Better off paying these prices at Firehouse or Ruth's Chris. The service and the sides were good, but the steaks weren't worth what we paid for, Also my wife ordered hers medium rare and it came out medium.
Service was fantastic. Portions small for price. Food was very good.
The waiter was great, we ordered the fillet medium, and they were pretty charred on top. For being a $46 fillet, it was not what I expected. Fortunately, it was a comped meal, otherwise I would have complained.
The service was excellent and the food was even better ..the meat was the best we had in a very long time
I wasn’t told the steak I ordered would be seared to the point of being way to chewy. If I’d known I would have asked for it not to be seared at all. I’ve had better for a lot less elsewhere
As alway, happy hour in the bar was excellent. Great food and wines😀
IF I WANTED TO SIT IN THE BAR AREA I WOULD NOT NEED RESERVATIONS. NEVER AGAIN IN THE BAR UNLESS IT IS HAPPY HOUR WITH REDUCED PRICES. WAY, WAY, WAY TO NOISY!
What a great way to ruin a romantic anniversary dinner.
The food as usual was excellent except that I HATED the GARLIC sauce on the steak that was not indicated on the menu. What a great way to ruin the food!!!
Service was so-so. We have had better at High Steaks.
It will be awhile before I pay those prices for noisy bar atmosphere, unwanted GARLIC, and so-so service!
My family and I enjoyed every part of our dining experience at High Steaks! The service was friendly and the food was perfect. This was our third time celebrating a birthday with family here and we all agreed to return for the next one!
Food was terrific, service was exceptional. We will definitely come back!
First time there. Made reservations and was given worst table in the house. Table was located near the kitchen where waiters come in and out. Waiters passed trays of food right over my husbands head. Door to restaurant in back was left open and let cold air come in to effect our food. Lamb chops I ordered were fatty and tough. My husbands swordfish was over cooked making it dry. My brother inlaws filet mignon was wrapped in bacon making it too salty.
For the price, not worth eating there. Will not be going back and do not recommend.
Great food and great service
