   The food and the choices of food are great and staff is attentive. The one big problem is the noise level, you find you almost have to shout to have a conversation with your dinner companion.

    How the mighty have fallen. This spot used to be called Austin’s back in the good old days where you could enjoy one of the best steaks in the area. Today my family was served a short rib that was mostly fat for $56. I’ve had a better steak at a Chilli’s recently for $26 compared to the $79 rib eye I had this evening. The service was decent but I’d rather go to a Ruth Chris over this place which is unfortunate.

    My husband has the bacon wrapped shrimp 🍤, everytime. I had the halibut special! It was delicious! I always get my Rambauer Zinfandel too! It's my favorite! Very friendly staff, and always greet me with smiles and my name! Love it here!!

    Let’s just say I’ve had better, two steaks, and some scallops took 52 mins 😞 steak was as dry as grandmas 🐱,scallops had either sand or rocks still on them .. they even tried to bring us soup to make up for the long wait. Soup had meat in it, I don’t eat meat…. Thanks tho! Service was bad too. My drink (soda) took 20mins to get.. vey SAD. Won’t be back!! Stay away!!

    High steaks is a top class restaurant. The service is unparelled. The food choices and special plus the chef brings treats to you. Food beyond amazing. We had 3 for dinner and four more joined for drinks. The service was so great. They rolled out the red carpet making each one of us feel like a special guest. We already have reservations for the future and will return frequently. Truly a top class restaurant.

    Great food! Waiter was great! The food runner was horrible, asked questions, he ignored us. Our food was mixed up, I ordered medium rare, i recieved medium, o there in our party ordered medium. We asked the food runner if we had the correct plates, he acknowledged yes! He was rude and obnoxious!

    Food was very good although pricey $280 for 4. We had a 6:30 reservation but had to wait 45 min. Hostesses did not seem to care. They kept taking other parties before us. Maybe the high rollers. We kept waiting but when we’d go up to desk hostesses seemed to be annoyed by our occasional inquiries. Finally seated. Management was extremely professional and friendly. And our server Steve was a delight! Superior service courteous professional and so enjoyable. Steve’s busboy was expeditious and attentive. So I would say that because of Steve our birthday celebration was made even more special. Ignore the hostesses and focus on the positive. I left the biggest tip ever and Steve was well worth it!

    So, my wife and I went there to enjoy a nice evening and dinner. I ordered 28 ounce prime rib and she ordered the ribeye. We both shared a baked potato and asparagus. Her ribeye was cooked perfectly, but my prime rib came back rare after ordering it medium rare. Not really too big of a deal, but it was cold. The service was great very attentive, friendly, and the overall atmosphere was just OK. The dress attire on the website calls for business casual but my wife and I were the only two dressed business casual. Everybody else was either in tank tops jeans or look like they just couldn’t put themselves together well enough for a nice night out. I guess I’m sounding a little bit snobbish and I’m really not trying to be because I’m kind of a down to earth guy, but when I do something I never do and spent $300 plus on a meal I would expect a little better. I could’ve gone to Texas roadhouse save myself a couple of hundred dollars and walked away much happier than I did going to this restaurant.

    Food was disappointing. The flavor of the meat was overpowered by the saltiness of the seasoning. We had 3 side dishes, potatoes au gratin, creamed spinach and brussell sprouts, and all were very salty. We couldn't taste the vegetables. Service was excellent, but it was very noisy. For the price point - I think you can do a lot better.

    Came to high stakes steakhouse for dinner around 7:30 p.m. we'll see it right away by the hostess. Was greeted by the servers and busboy. Who filled our water. Ordered the crab cakes and the pate fragua. Crab cakes for interesting came with french fries which we had never seen before but it's not a big deal. Crab cakes were okay could have used a little more crab. My lady ordered a petite filet mignon medium rare when the steak got to the table it was medium well and kind of chewy. We let the server know about the steak he offered to do something about it but my lady said she would just go ahead and deal with it. Overall value for the food was just okay little pricey. Staff was excellent very professional and very courteous. Would probably come back for the burger which look good and just sit at the bar and show that.

    Not the best steak, we were wondering if the filet mignon was really a filet? Only a few people in the restaurant but we felt neglected. Vegetable garnish on plate had one spinach leaf!!! Terrible experience for our 50th anniversary 😢

    The service was awesome - we ALWAYS request to be seated in Tristan’s section if he is working that day. He is amazing as are all the staff at High Steaks. Yesterday’s special was halibut - it was amazing - I can say it was the best halibut I have EVER had. It would be nice if it could be added to the regular menu if possible.     Our experience at Thunder Valley High Steaks was spectacular! The service, ambiance and meal were all exemplary. Attention to detail was above and beyond. Our special occasion of having an anniversary was enjoyed by my wife and I. We will definitely go back to High Steaks. They made us feel special.
