Our waiter was terrific BUT the food was lousy. Had to send both our steaks back. Still not as ordered but what do you do ? Our friends had already eaten their mediocre Mexican food and we didn't have time to continue to mess around with dinner as we had a concert to go to. For the money they didn't offer a salad or vegetable either. High Noon used to be a solid choice many years ago but now, don't bother.

The food was FANTASTIC! The shredded beef was so flavorful and tender! And the beef bites with fresh warm tortillas was DIVINE!!! High Noon is NOT to be missed! Oh... and the Prickly Pear Martini was DELICIOUS!! And not to be out done by the food, our server, Matthew.... was OUTSTANDING! He was able to guide us through our food journey, and even offered a couple of recommendations for local site-seeing! You have to put this fantastic spot on your short-list!!!!

Our waiter kept telling us he was new but honestly, he did a perfect job for us overall. We had no mishaps. We celebrated our anniversary and it was perfectly quiet, casual, and extremely good food & drinks. We will be back for sure. We live in Los Lunas and chose High Noon because I had not been there since the late 70's, early 80's.

I had the Old Town Plaza Platter in order to get a bit of everything. I had never had a chile relleno stuffed with anything other than cheese. The brisket stuffed relleno was quite good. I had the prickly pear margarita that was great. My husband had the Ribeye that was cooked to perfection. Will definitely put this on our go to list the next time we are visiting

Great atmosphere in the Santos room, adjacent to a small section of the bar. The room is nicely lit, with small niches lining the walls for the little statues. Very cozy. Service is always good. We order the steak and little skinny fries, usually drenched in sauce with onions (but lately not as much) We order a roasted green chili on the side. The wine selection is slim, but adequate. All in all a great place to dine in Old Town.

Our experience at High Noon restaurant was troubled…the ambiance is nice, the food was fair, but the service was terrible…we waited at least 30min , Just to get the appetizer…it was another 30 min for the entrees to arrive….I noticed a couple who arrived after us were served and gone as we were finishing up our meal. …this is unacceptable for anyone….the food preparation could not have taken that long…I had a salad and my husband had tacos….this took over an hour to serve…needless to say, we will not be back to High Noon ever again…I would not recommend it to anyone….

This dinner was the second we had at High Noon. We loved our dinner the first time, which was a month ago. We invited our niece and nephew to dinner at High Noon, because we knew they would enjoy the food and he ambiance and they did. We are so glad we found this treasure in Albuquerque as we will be returning frequently.

High Noon is a definite favorite of mine. The food is excellent, and the menu offers a variety of items. Service is timely and always polite and respectful. The setting is very “New Mexico” and pleasant. Not too loud as are most restaurants. They have their own parking lot which makes it easy to park in Old Town.
