Great meal, celebrating 2 birthdays! Great service, great food great time
Love this place--try to make it every time I'm in ABQ.
Food and service were excellent. The short ribs were excellent. My friends all had enchiladas which
Great setting, excellent food, very good service. There is nothing else to compare.
The steak was cold and fatty. Sent it back. The service was awful. Waited forever for salad and food. The owner replaced the steak and took it off the bill which was the right thing to do. It was hotter but still fatty which she admitted. The waitress was sassy and not in a good way. Spoke to others who also had issues. The restaurant has lost its game
Second time there on visit to Albuquerque. Food was as good as first time. Brie Empanadas were terrific and the filet was perfect/ Deserts also a standout with a relatively good wine list. Only negative is that on both occasions the service was a bit slow but not outrageously bad. The server was attentive.
We had excellent food and excellent service! We have dined here before, it's a family favorite.
Reliably outstanding all around. Great food, great ambiance, great service.
Wonderful old building, good food, great atmosphere.
Overpriced limited menu. Nothing special about this restaurant that seems to have some great reviews. Started with a margarita that was served in a small wine glass !! Wow - $13 for a tiny magarita !! Didn’t get any better after that either. Had a salad with grilled salmon that was tasteless and overpriced. Husband had the $35 steak which was just barely ok. Very dissapointed as we expected a much better meal for our $100 tab.
Good food. Need sopapillas. All people want sopapillas.
Wonderful charming old place, food delicious, even though it was very busy our waiter was really efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. A great dinner enjoyed by all of us!
Great food, good service and nice music in the background.
We all got the blue tortilla enchilada. The tortillas were hard to cut and even with the hot salsa it was tasteless.
Would not recommend.
From the outside, the restaurant looks small and dark, but once the door opens, you walk into a beautiful and large restaurant. Exceptional food but the service was wonderful. We were treated royally with the wait servers chatted with us and made us very welcome. They also gave me a free dessert for my birthday.
Great place to enjoy some New Mexican fare near the Old Town district. Food, drinks and service were excellent and I would go back here.
Wonderful setting. Food and service were great. The appetizers were especially good.
Briefly: It was our first time. Over all enjoyable. The location is the best NM has to offer.
Complaints: Dinner menu was on the table at 3:30 when lunch is advertised til 5/Dinner 5 to close. Basically same menu just dinner is significantly pricier. We asked for lunch menu and recieved it. They were out of tenderloin. The steak and salad dish, while very good, was drenched in dressing. Almost inedible. *Order this, to be sure, but ask for dressing on the side. The small room is very short and cramped. Probably perfect for couples because it is intimate. We were there as a family of 4 celebrate adult son birthday,, any of the other spaces would have been more comfortable, more fun, and more appropriate for us. Next time we will request different dining area.
The Good Stuff: Our server, Gloria, was ok. She seemed a little off or distracted but we did receive decent service. The busser was amazing! I'm sorry I did not get his name. Attentive and focused. We had the Brie empanadas - sublime. Delicious. Everyone loved these immensely. All the food was very, very good. Fries with Steak Frite greasy side, a huge pile of them. Will order separately next time. Bison burger - excellent. Will probably go back especially with out of town guests. Cheers
This place was listed on Yelp as a brunch favorite on Sunday. They don't even serve brunch. It is an OK restaurant, I got fooled by Yelp and thinking they had brunch. My bad more than the restaurants I guess.
Birthday, it was a great time. Good good, great atmosphere.
More hype than quality. Supposed to be known for marguerites, but very small and full of ice. Tasty though. Entrees were ok. Chicken dish had way too much red sauce on it. Supposed to be half a chicken, but it was a small one. 7 oz steak frites came on top of a mountain of French fries, dwarfed the meat. Meat cooked properly. Too expensive for what you get. Staff could have been more engaged.
We had a wonderful evening. Our server made us feel comfortable right away and had great recommendations. The food was great and the wine we chose was perfect for our steaks.
Lovely historic building makes this a long time favorite . Sadly , this contributes to an extreme noisy experience . Guitar music while otherwise nice is pointless since it can’t be heard . I hate to shout over dinner. Food is good, service ok .
2nd time here. Best enchiladas (blue corn tortillas) ever! Prickly Pear Margarita is really good. Neat old, old building.
The beef bites in red chile sauce were so delicious. We all wanted more and couldn’t get enough of the sauce. Really yummy food and great margaritas!
High Noon is one of the places I take out of town visitors as it gives them an opportunity to experience a bit of Old Town without forcing them to eat only Mexican food. While the Mexican food served at High Noon is quite good, the menu is varied and offers exceptionally good steaks as well. The service is always excellent and place itself is charming. Certainly try to get a table in their main dining room (particularly at Christmas time) but their little santos room with lovely antique santos in little niches sets a wonderful mood. They have a good bar, capable of making a five star Margarita (several kinds). I always order an appetizer of little tenderloin steak pieces served in a red sauce, and it makes an excellent beginning for the meal.
Brilliant service, outstanding food and a prickly pear margarita for the win!
There were 7 of us, everyone loved the drinks, food & service. Also great historical building.
Great prime rib. Also served asparagus as the vegetable got six Spears they were very Woody. Attentive waiter.
The service was great. I had enchiladas and my wife had salad with shrimp, both were outstanding. High is a great restaurant with wonderful atmosphere.
Excellent margaritas!! Great food, and best of all was our fantastic waitress Christina!!! She lunch fun for our group of 6.
We had a fabulous evening at High Noon. We tried the tenderloin and the short ribs, and both were outstanding. The service was excellent, as well. Our server treated our disabled son with kindness, respect, and compassion and made sure it was a special evening for all of us. The decor is perfect for Old Town, and we'd return and recommend in a heartbeat. Thanks to everyone at High Noon for doing what you do so well!
We had great service, the food was excellent and value was excellent
Food, service and drinks were fantastic! Would recommend to anyone!
I admit I was skeptical. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food was great! The short ribs were fabulous and the potions were ample! Give it a try. You’ll be glad you did.
Our meals were average, as were the drinks. One Moscow Mule had flat Ginger Beer. We asked for rolls, they were served with no butter and no bread plates were on the table. The quality just isn't there of late1
We went for a long overdue date night dinner. Our waitress, Gloria, was amazing. The Brie pastry was fantastic. We ordered the special game dinner. The boar was so over cooked we couldn’t cut it with a steak knife. The quail was over cooked as well. Gloria graciously returned it. The second time the food came out the boar was raw (not rare...raw). The quail was so overly salted we could not eat it. Gloria was obviously uncomfortable but did a fantastic professional job. However, not one other staff member or manager approached us about our super disappointing meal. What a horrible ending to a long anticipated night out
Had NM Mexican dishes. Tasty and big portion. Ambiance was lackluster from furniture to layout of room. Maybe you need a few drinks in order to not care.
Great spot. Amazing margs and blue corn enchiladas, friendly service, cozy local atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!
Our server, Jessica, was wonderful! She didn't steer us wrong with her suggestions for food and drinks were spot on!
