Everything was great. Only disappointment, although I had made the reservation via OpenTable the restaurant did not have my reservation. I had seven people and was nervous at first, showed my confirmation on my phone. In the end, we were seated promptly and all was well. We all enjoyed the food and service. Great place to take houseguests for Sunday Southern style brunch. Jim Sweat

High quality southern buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent service. Must make reservations for each. Jackets are required for men at dinner.

Overall, tasty seafood buffet and my favorite dish was chicken marsala - not seafood. My guests were unimpressed with steamed mussels but loved breaded shrimp. Great service and setting. My only regret was not arriving early enough to linger much longer at the cocktail lounge. The pianist was quite enjoyable!

We visit High Hampton Inn while on vacation at least twice each summer for their Sunday Lunch/Brunch. Great Salad Bar, the Best Fried Chicken and great Dessert Bar. Oh, and I can't forget the "Build Your Own Bloody Mary" Bar! Fabulous old Inn with amazing grounds and Old Time Charm. Don't miss if you are visiting the area!

We had reservations and after 15 min no one came to seat us after asking several people where the host or hostess was. I have never had such poor service. We left.

Had Sunday lunch with friends for their birthdays. The variety was wonderful, and the food was excellent. It was a very good value and I highly recommend you try it when you're in the area. We will go back next time we're there.

The High Hampton Inn is a historic family summer resort dating from the early 20th century. It has a huge dining room serving buffet meals. This restaurant is open to the public with reservations suggested. Evening meals require men to wear coats and there is a dress code for women. There is one price per meal which includes soup to dessert including tax and gratuity for less than $20 at lunch. The menu changes every day and is delicious. Service is friendly and courteous. Don't miss this.

Dining at the High Hampton Inn , Cashiers NC, is like stepping back in time and going to your grandmother's house for Sunday dinner. The food is delicious and plentiful! All meals are served buffet style. Fresh locally grown vegetables and produce are used when available. The breads and deserts are homemade . Don't fill up at the huge salad bar, the best is yet to come! Fried Chichen is my favorite. High Hampton Inn is the best place to enjoy a true mountain experience!

We live in Highlands, NC half the year and we make it a special treat to dine and relax at High Hampton many times during the season. Their food is delicious, and the ambiance cannot be beat, also the staff and servers are the best. This time, I found that the wonderful lady, Sony, who always made our visit special, has retired and though we missed her this time, we are very happy that she now has time to relax after making visits to High Hampton memorable. Truly the ultimate Southern Experience.

Thanks for our wonderful experiences.

They do a fantastic buffet lunch here. The food is classic Southern dishes and the desserts...holy cow! I think I had six of them! If you're coming from church in the summer, you might want to change clothes first. Remember, it's rustic and there's no AC!

HIgh Hampton is a classic in North Carolina and should be a must stop if your are in the Cashiers/Highlands area of the state. The setting is wonderful, the food is great, and the atmosphere is fun.

Still the old fashioned Sunday lunch menus with cold salads and desserts, fried chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes. But grandma never had a Bloody Mary Bar; High Hsmpton does!

High Hampton Inn is our favorite restaurant in Cashiers. The "old school" dress code for dinner is refreshing and reflects the charm of the wonderful old Inn with its beautiful grounds. The atmosphere make you feel like you've gone back in time.
The food is served buffet style and everything is absolutely delicious, from the soup --- to the salad --- to the entrees and sides --- to the deserts. The menu stays pretty much the same for each day of the week, year after year. Every night has a different cuisine with 3 main entrees.
Eating at High Hampton Inn is always one of the highlights of our yearly visit to Cashiers.
