Great food, great service and a great location in North Denver.
We had a very nice birthday celebration. The food and drink were fabulous. Wait staff attentive and knowledgeable. Comfortable and cozy. If you've never been there--would highly recommend. We will definitely go again for a special occasion.
Food was Great, Service was not, waited over 10 min before our server came to our table. Server did not check on us until almost done with dinner. Drinks and apps. took to long to receive
First time here, I have to say I was a little uncomfortable at first only because we we're the only ones of color in the restaurant, but the staff made it feel very welcoming. The food was amazing, one of the best steaks I've had! I would highly recommend this restaurant
The Hideaway is a great place for a memorable meal. Not cheap, but worth it. We go there 2-3 times a year for our special nights.
I was so pleased to finally discover this great steakhouse right in our backyard. We postponed our Valentine's Day date to a few days later and made reservations at Hideaway. The restaurant atmosphere was quiet, romantic and cozy. The food was amazing and portion size was just right. Our waiter offered great recommendations and seemed knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list which we appreciated. We will keep this spot in mind for future special evenings in the future. So nice to have a wonderful steakhouse in the burbs and not have to go downtown Denver.
Steak was great; little under cooked but very good tasting. Sides are super small. Expect to spend $50 on a Steak, and $20 for two sides, plus drinks. Water tastes really bad even after adding lemon. Drinks and service was very good though. A bit too pricy for me; Ruth Chris is a better values for $150+ plus meal for two.
If this were my first experience at this restaurant, it would be my last. For the price we paid for the meal, I was very disappointed. My beet salad had just enough beets to be called a beet salad. The salmon was mostly not cooked, so only could eat half of it. The cheesecake was ok, but tasted store bought. The server rarely came by and never once asked how the meal was or even if we'd like another round of drinks. What server doesn't do that?! I guess ones who aren't concerned about getting a good tip.
The service is good here but the food is very below par for price (my fiance said she would rather go to texas roadhouse). Go to Ruth Cris, Del Frisco or Ocean Prime.
