Excellent food, wonderful waitress. If you are looking for a place for a great business conversation with solid food on the North end this is it.
Excellent food. Service was incredible. We had Jamaica as our server. She was superb.
The Wagyu Strip was cooked perfect. Great wine selection and both the escargot and shrimp cocktail appetizers were excellent. In addition the cocktails were so good that after dinner we moved to the bar and had a few more with a very knowledgeable bartender.
The restaurant week meal was not worth the price. We should have ordered off the menu.
Service was poor and two out of four dishes were not cooked properly.
Outstanding service by our waiter and offered good suggestions. Food excellent!
The best place to go within having to go to downtown Denver!
Comparable to Elways and DelFrisco. Excellent steak and seafood. Romantic and elegant steakhouse with phenomenal service. Priced equivalent to Elways
Took my beautiful wife and her parents out for Denver restaurant week. Great food and great service!
Restaurant week steak was disappointing.
Wait staff was amazing. It was a nice quiet date night. Thank you hideaway for a great date night.
It was a lovely evening. The Hideaway is absolutely one of my favorites. Service was excellent and the food is always delicious. I love the round booths. Great for conversation and privacy.
We came here during Denver Restaurant week. Food and atmosphere were amazing. Will def be back!
I always have a great time here! Food is absolutely amazing! The staff are on their game and we’ll educated about their menu and how the items are prepared. I believe our server’s name was Jean Paul?? ( hope I got that right ) He was great too! Definitely coming back and recommending to everyone!! Outstanding job to everybody from the back of the house to the front! Thank you for making our night spectacular!
Love this place, unfortunately the only time we can afford it is during restaurant week.
Great night of dinning. Love The Hideaway.
We went to Hideaway Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday this past weekend. We arrived about 1 minute prior to our reservation time of 6:30pm , but were not seated until 7pm. It was worth the wait, though. My husband and I both ordered off of the Denver Restaurant Week menu, and were not disappointed. The 3 courses included in the offer were all fantastic. I enjoyed one of the best steaks I have ever had, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. We would definitely come back for our next special night out.
This is our second time going this month. We had a fabulous dinner, drinks were exceptional, service impeccable, atmosphere is unparalleled in Thornton. Will be back!
Good food but overpriced. A lot of new restaurants in the area offer the same quality of food at a lower cost.
Everything was perfect! The ambiance was spacious and quiet. The Caesar salad was crispy and tasty. The little heirloom tomatoes and fried anchovies were especially good. The steak was prepared perfectly on a bed of mashed potatoes mixed with a puree of red peppers. A truly memorable experience. Quite pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
Way too expensive for the quality of the food. Paid over $100 for Restaurant Week. Not worth it.
I felt that for the prices paid I would get a meal that corresponded with that price. Sadly I was disappointed. The ambiance was nice but overall I don't feel the experience warrants returning.
Great food, great service and a great location in North Denver.
We had a very nice birthday celebration. The food and drink were fabulous. Wait staff attentive and knowledgeable. Comfortable and cozy. If you've never been there--would highly recommend. We will definitely go again for a special occasion.
Food was Great, Service was not, waited over 10 min before our server came to our table. Server did not check on us until almost done with dinner. Drinks and apps. took to long to receive
First time here, I have to say I was a little uncomfortable at first only because we we're the only ones of color in the restaurant, but the staff made it feel very welcoming. The food was amazing, one of the best steaks I've had! I would highly recommend this restaurant
The Hideaway is a great place for a memorable meal. Not cheap, but worth it. We go there 2-3 times a year for our special nights.
I was so pleased to finally discover this great steakhouse right in our backyard. We postponed our Valentine's Day date to a few days later and made reservations at Hideaway. The restaurant atmosphere was quiet, romantic and cozy. The food was amazing and portion size was just right. Our waiter offered great recommendations and seemed knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list which we appreciated. We will keep this spot in mind for future special evenings in the future. So nice to have a wonderful steakhouse in the burbs and not have to go downtown Denver.
We had a 545 reservation. Woman at the host stand on the phone, 2 others standing there. We were not welcomed, and when she got off the phone told us we would have to wait for ten minutes. We were ten minutes early! The server was pleasant, but we felt rushed from the start so we ordered an appetizer. It arrived promptly, however we never received appetizer plates. When entree came, my steak did not have the sauce I ordered so the server brought it and it spilled on the table and wasn't cleaned up. My steak was rare instead of medium but no one checked until it was too late. The server apologized and said he would tell the managers but no one came, no adjustment in price. Overall, it was not a great experience. My advice would be to not forget who the customer is. First impressions are so important. Nice atmosphere, however nothing else matched it. We won't return.
Steak was great; little under cooked but very good tasting. Sides are super small. Expect to spend $50 on a Steak, and $20 for two sides, plus drinks. Water tastes really bad even after adding lemon. Drinks and service was very good though. A bit too pricy for me; Ruth Chris is a better values for $150+ plus meal for two.
Valentine day dinner which was special for us. They did a great job for a special occasion. A little pricey for every day dinning.
If this were my first experience at this restaurant, it would be my last. For the price we paid for the meal, I was very disappointed. My beet salad had just enough beets to be called a beet salad. The salmon was mostly not cooked, so only could eat half of it. The cheesecake was ok, but tasted store bought. The server rarely came by and never once asked how the meal was or even if we'd like another round of drinks. What server doesn't do that?! I guess ones who aren't concerned about getting a good tip.
The service is good here but the food is very below par for price (my fiance said she would rather go to texas roadhouse). Go to Ruth Cris, Del Frisco or Ocean Prime.
This was our third visit. And we only went because it was the only table we could get for Valentine's Day. The first visit about 2 years ago the service was horrible, second visit a year & a half ago the service was good, food was awful. To our surprise this visit the food was great, service exceptional, and we had a wonderful evening. We are going back for our anniversary.
Ordered the chicken sandwich without onions. It came on toast with chicken, avacado, lettuce and tomato. No dressing! It was dry and the bread fell into pieces with each bite. Forgettable!
Probably the best steak I have ever had. The staff were as professional as you can get, and the manager took time to make sure we were all "Having fun". Amazing food, Can't wait to go back.
I can understand why this place is the Hideaway Steakhouse! It was an amazing experience that I will recommend to anyone looking for a hidden diamond in the area. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, and our food had no comparison. So glad to have found this.
It was alright. I ordered the pan seared ribeye and I was not great - honestly, it looked more like a NY strip - very grisly and not your usual ribeye. Usually there is a tender, fatty around the edge with an eye on meat in the middle. This had barely any fat, mostly grisle and it was tough and chewy. Disappointing considering the price.
