They were closed T 10PM when we arrived. Did not get to experience anything g
There were 5 of us there to celebrate 2 birthdays. This was the best service we have ever had there. It wasn’t busy at all. Nice & quiet. Food was fabulous. I had the hibachi shrimp. The spicy teriyaki sauce was delicious. Ask your cook for some to try.
No receptionist at front, server is act confused, not well trained, long waiting on food, poor management.
Went there for a special occasion, but the food was average at best.. The beef was good, but the chicken was overcooked as were the veggies. I have had better fried rice in a fast food restaurant. We paid $400.00 for meals (9 people) that were worth maybe 100.00. So very disappointed in the food as well as the experience. I doubt we will ever be back.
The food is pretty good, but the service and ambience is extremely poor. It appears to be a management problem.
The teppan food was decent. Not on par with other Japanese steakhouses I've eaten at, but decent. The grilled veggies were undercooked sadly. The salad and miso soup were very nice.
The sushi was good, not great. I had the cowboy roll, while my husband had a selection of rolls and nigiri. Although the nigiri fish didn't have the nice sheen that sushi quality fish should have. He also asked for two items that they didn't have to serve, even though they were on the menu and it was a Saturday night. My husband was very disappointed.
The true low point of the entire experience though was the service, such as it was. We had a trainee who was working with our waitress who was really nice and good at serving, but our waitress was horrible. The trainee got our drink order and prompty brought them. We asked questions about the sushi and she didn't know the answers, but immediately went to find help for us. Our waitress, however, was rarely seen. She took our orders and disppeared until they were ready. As the sushi I had ordered was spicy, I quickly needed a refill on my sweet tea. It took 20 minutes to even be able to request a refill, and what she brought back was not iced tea, nor was it sweet. She took it back and had them sweeten it, but it still wasn't iced tea. Before I had the chance to question what it was, she'd disappeared again. It was green tea, btw, I figured that out when I drank a sip. About 15 minutes later she brought my food, then disappeared. We'd finished our meal and drinks and had to wait another 20 minutes to ask for the check. This could be at least partially forgiven if they'd been busy, but there were only 6 or 7 tables with customers. We usually hang around for a few and chat, but we literally couldn't wait to leave. So much for splurging for a special occasion. The food I might have gone back for, but the horrible service lost them potential repeat business. I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I was pleased with everything except my to go order. I was disappointed in the serving size of my to go order. It was not the same as the portion I had seated for dinner I do not think that is fair if they are the same prices it should have been the same proportions and worth the amount of money paid.
The service and ambience weren’t as great as I’d hoped they’d be but the sushi definitely made up for it. We tried the the shrimp crunch and Louisiana roll, as well as the California roll. All very very good!
They were short staffed so it took along time to get drinks. But over all it is as great!
Very slow to get going, took forever to even get a drink let alone a food order going. That said, our chef was excellent with his show and with the food which largely made up for things once it all got rolling. Still, the manager had to get an extra fork as even the chef couldn’t flag down wait staff. Price is hibachi price. Very consistent with competitors. They were able to keep a 7 and 2 year old enthralled and was fun for us as well.
Server got our appetizers wrong, the chef undercooked steak and rice. It just seemed like another guest was a burden but they were not very busy.
Amazing food, the Cowboy roll was delicious and the hot green tea (the best I've had) complimented it perfectly.
In one word: Disastrous! Our family has dined here for years on special occasions, and this was the worst experience we ever had. We like the food well enough, but basically go for the show. But this time the server was incompetent; couldn't catch the egg in his hat, could't stack the onion rings or get them to flame, and could't get the grill to flame up. We were seated at a place where the afternoon sun got directly in the eyes of two of us, even though there were plenty of empty stations in the room. And a pet peeve: The "suggested" tip amount were based on the total bill, including 8.5 percent sales tax, instead of just the food amount — the service has nothing to do with the sales tax. How many more reasons do you need to never go back?
The Hot Stone Rice Bowl (Dolsot Bibimbap) was delicious and very filling. The Kalbee was also very tasty, though we prefer the boneless. The onion soup was also delicious, as were the gyoza. Staff was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was enjoyable.
We booked through Open Table for a birthday party of 7 people. Upon arrival (and despite two automated confirmations and a prior call to the restaurant to confirm hibachi grill seating), we were told that the reservation did not exist. After at least 15 minutes of negotiation, we were seated but made to feel like we had done something wrong. The reservation was for my twin daughters’ 18th birthday. Had I not gone to the restaurant with them to make sure they were all set, they would have been turned away. Not a great way to start what should have been a celebration dinner. The hostess was very rude and not accommodating.
I hate leaving bad reviews, so many factors played a part in our bad experience. It has been 5 years since we've been to this restaurant! It was a fairly new restaurant, hip and the ambiance was very chic. Anyways roll to this fast Friday where we invited 8 of our family members to join us for a hibachi experience. The chairs were worn, they floors were splitting, the bathroom door barely opened. We were met at the door by the manager (figured that out later) who was kind of pushy to seat us. We had a reservation, which I recommend. We met our family at bar first , the beers were $10! We stopped at 1! We made our way to the hibachi within 5 mins, it was quick and everyone arrived on time. Once seated it took almost 30 mins to get a drink order, then another 15 to get a sushi order and another 30 to get our drinks back (one was dropped and another was heard wrong, saki vs asahi) So by 845 we were just ordering our hibachi food! We had two people who were allergic to avocado and egg but when sushi arrived they had to redo it as a just in case. Our waitress at this point was clearly frustrated..after the beer incident she made a point to tell us it was her 3 day..(we could tell) Our chef came out to clarify our orders. This was the best part of our dining experience, he was not like the other chefs (not Asian and not hispanic) just a white dude cooking up some fabulous corny jokes and awesome food! The only goof with the food was that my husband and my steak were mixed up, quite alright it was all good! At this point it is 930. After we finished, took 20 mins for her to send her manager over saying their sever was down and we would get a discount. At 1015 she finally came back and stated we could either pay cash or just leave because the system would not be back up. They didn't send the manager, a new waitress was ill equipped with a speech to give us. She definitely deserved some help from her management and it was sad that we had to leave her with nothing.
We really enjoyed our meal on Christmas night. The service was good, hibashi shrimp & steak were cooked to perfection.
Chef did none of the typical hibachi flair. He also gave my entree to another person at the table and had to go get another for me and I had to wait. Hostess claimed I had no reservation numerous times until I pull open table app and then she found it.
Not the best customer service overall. Despite the reservation, our party of 4 was squeezed closely with a family of 6 as if our reservation was an afterthought. Sushi was good, hibachi was mediocre though our cook was very fun and engaging. The whole place smelled like fabuloso cleaner and a dirty mop. The bathroom needed attention. Would pickup sushi from there in the future but won’t come back to dine in.
Work dinners. Greet night, great food, great atmosphere, we enjoyed the evening.
Food was awesome!! Only issue was Sloooooow bar service. That has been an issue the last three visits. 20 minutes for a bottled beer?
Great, quiet atmosphere with modern decor and bar in dining are. Groups and lively folks will also enjoy the Hibachi section!
Great hibachi spot! Sushi bar looked good too. They have NFL red zone for those concerned about missing the games. Will definitely be back!
Waiter was very nice but the service wasn’t great.
Food was just ok.
Great food! Service was awesome as usual! Our Habichi chef was very funny and extremely talented. I asked for Hanichi hot sauce and the chef mixed me up a delicious creation right in the spot. It was amazing. Yum! Can’t wait to go back.
This was our second time here and we really enjoyed it....again. The food is wonderful and the service is great! There was a young girls birthday party there that night, so it was very loud, but we still had a wonderful time celebrating my husbands birthday.
The place was empty at 6pm. Tables were dirty when we sat down. Not sure why when there was not much going on. But business picked up and the meal was good.
Hibashi has become our go-to special occasion spot. It's entertaining, the food is tasty and we always enjoy the experience.
We've gotten a different chef each time and I appreciate how each of them brings their own uniqueness to the experience. I enjoy the consistently good experience coupled with the little surprises along the way.
Dirty, service was BAD, yum yum (shrimp sauce) was terrible, wine list was not accurate- they were out of 2 of the wines I selected. Just Stay away. They don't come close to the 4 star rating on open table.
Horrible service from the wait staff and the hostess and manager
Our cook was nice
The food and service was great. It was little loud for me, but I'm old and there a lot of places that are loud to me. I liked the fact that they didn't wait till our table was full before seating and cooking for us.
It was amazing! The cook was very entertaining and accommodating
Very slow service. They were down to only two chefs, and we waited an hour before our chef came. They were nice enough to bring sushi while we waited, and did recognize the issue. I'm sure this is not a usual occurrence for them
The Teppan grill was fun and the food delicious. A great place for a family outing! I found the inside of the restaurant to be unnecessarily dark. The ambiance could be improved if the walls and ceiling weren't all black and/or dark.
Muy mal servicio, estuve esperando más de 45 minutos , nunca llego el cocinero a la mesa , horrible lugar , muy oscuro
General muy sucio
The food was good, but the service was slow. There were only a few people dining at the time of my visit.
Great food. Lots of butter.
I loved how they offered specials for Mother's Day. I had filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken..... It was delicious! And my mom got a cooked veggie sushi roll, she said it was yummy!
I took my mother and grandmother here for Mother's day celebration and it was excellent they loved it. The waitress was very attentive. I will go again!
They forgot my order, the blonde waiter girl was rude, and I am the one that recommended the restaurant to my friends and family. It was embarrassing and disappointing.
