This is one special place. The best meal I have ever had in the twin cities. The frozen lamb was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The wine was beautiful and the service was perfect.

Heyday is not your average restaurant. Their menu is creative and tasty. We would continue to frequent Hayday, however, they are closing for the summer to update the restaurant and bar area. We look forward to their reopening.

Jim Christiansen and his team are exceptional. Best innovative chef in the twin cities (and beyond). So sad they have closed but eagerly awaiting the next iteration to open in the fall. Thanks to Jim, Dani, Carly and the whole team for a spectacular experience each and every visit.

Food is amazing. It’s informed, pushes boundaries and surprises every time. Service is always good and we’re made to feel welcome and special. The wine? Fantastic. They source a Mexican red which is rare in the USA.

The creations of the chef at Hey Day are without a doubt the best in the Twin Cities by my opinion. There were 3 of us and we shared 7 different dishes, and a 1/2 pour of wine for each of us with each dish. The pairings were outstanding, and the food was creative and exceptional. This is my favorite place to eat in Minneapolis.

Each item on the tasting menu is unbelievably delicious, and the plating is gorgeous to say the least. We have been to many of the hot spots around town and none of them can compare to what we have experienced here at Hey Day. Every item on the menu is perfection and then some.
