The server was attentive and knowledgeable, and the staff overall was welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the ambiance a lot.
Great service! Went for brunch and food and drinks were really good. I got the shakshouka and a coffee based cocktail and both were amazing - very flavorful.
Great music at the bluegrass brunch. Balanced cocktails, great beer selection, small but meticulously crafted menu... What more could you want?
We really enjoyed the food , cocktails and the live jazz was wonderful ! Would definitely go back !
Great atmosphere, live music and the food is excellent.
Great music! Loved the Jersey Cornpickers. Food was really good. Experience would have been even better if our server had been friendly. She generally seemed like a server that hates brunch shift.
Heritage was awesome! They have good live music, a great vibe, and quality food.
Awesome food and music! Perfect vibe for a date night or a night out with friends. We will definitely be back!
The food was excellent and the live jazz was fantastic!
Great beer selection, excellent service, enjoyed the food.
Fantastic, as always.
Delicious food, great service and wonderful music! Loved it and will be back!
Heritage is a nice looking restaurant with cool live music and decent food. Service was ok, not great, starting with the hostess who would not seat us at a different table even though the restaurant was half full. My husband ordered a Mule cocktail and was disappointed that it did not come in a copper mug; his view is that ordering a Mule implies a copper mug! My salad and his soup were very good, the pickled vegetables were disappointing, but our chicken sandwich and burger entrees were ver good. So, a decent meal, but with so many options in Philadelphia, not sure we'll be rushing back to Heritage.
Fun night with great beer and reggae music
Bluegrass brunch on Sundays has become a regular event with us. Music is only surpassed by excellent choices for brunch, The pancakes with brown sugar butter are great, Sausage has a bit of country spice that
makes the biscuits and gravy even better.
Great service, moderate sound due to a fantastic bluegrass band
BlueGrass Brunch was amazing. From an amazing cocktail list, crab cakes with a spin to multiple banjos, Heritage is a one of a kind experience. Highly recommend checking out the Blue Grass Brunch, happy hour and definitely the next time you have guest in the city.
We loved the band and the food.
Heritage is a very nice place with some serious management issues. The service was awful. The bathroom had no paper towels and was filthy. Some food was good, some had to be sent back. Very inconsistent. There are many good restaurants in the area, I would go someplace else!
Good brunch spot. Went on a Saturday around 12. Wasn't busy. That said, I was surprised by the mediocre service. Nothing worth complaining too much about but we could have used more water and drinks.
Great atmosphere, service and food.
The roasted chicken is amazing and a must.
I've always enjoyed food and my time here. This time was no different. Food was extraordinary and the music was beautiful! Heritage I definitely one of my most favorite brunch places, and I make a point to bring my friends around here whenever.
The hostess claimed that there wasn't an open table reservation in my name. Then she went on about how hard she works and how she really deserves a tip jar. After my friend gave her a tip, then she found us a table. BTW, I did have a reservation which is why Open Table sent me a review form.
We got drinks and snack. My dirty martini was undrinkable but they replaced it with a straight gin martini. Fine. The burrata was ok but had a tough outer skin. The cheese board was great. The duck confit poutine was pretty good. The worst was the steak tartare. It was chunks of meat instead of raw ground meat. And It was tough and inedible. Gag. My friend and I love steak tartare and this was just gross. We didn't eat it. The bone marrow was ok but I've had better. The band was fun and the place is gorgeous. Might go for drinks and the band again but beware of scamming hostess and gross steak tartare.
Great waitress who reminded it was happy hour. Had some good obscure local beers. Mostly amped up bar food. Service and ambiance make it a special place. Kids liked it too. Credit card machine was “broken” and had to scramble to find cash was only blip.
The atmosphere was great. Christine (I believe she was the manager) was very personable & very funny. We’d come back just to see her! We loved the live band. The wait wasn’t long and the food was delicious.
Been here a few times. The meals and drinks have always been excellent, but what struck me on our most recent visit is that this place has some of the best ambience. Great decor, a fun but also non-intrusive live band and generally relaxed feel.
Had a wonderful birthday celebration here on a Sunday night. Loved the reggae music. Food was delicious and creative. Family friendly.
We enjoyed the music as well as the delicious food and good service.
This was an interesting place that offered live music. The food was good but not great, nothing that anyone had from our table was a standout that would make me recommend to a friend. The service was excellent with our waitress making recommendations and asking for feedback. The music was loud and could have been dialed back a bit to allowed for easier conversation. With all the other options in the area, I might go back for the music and bar but I would not return for a meal.
We visited Heritage 2 weeks ago before a show at The Fillmore and new immediately we would be back. We brought a group of 10 and no one left disappointed. Awesome jazz duo playing, great cocktails, good service and vibes. The Fishtown area has a lot to offer and continues to grow in cool spots to venture to. We shall certainly return! Thanks for a fun pre-show dinner and drinks experience.
$5 French press coffee came out almost clear, two separate times. If you’re going to serve expensive, technique-based drinks, they need to be done right. Pulled pork hash had sausage chunks in it. Just overall missing the mark.
Great food, ambience and service. We took our time because we were listening to the live music and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend.
Place was cool, service was good, we got our appetizers immediately after ordering and it was delicious. However, the rest of the food came out an hour after we put our orders in, food was a bit cold. Steak requested to cook for medium came out medium rare and medium rare was a bit more raw. Great beginning a bit disappointed on food and service at the end
I used to love this place, but it has really gone downhill. The veggi plate was once the best thing on the menu, and now you get some sautéed bell peppers and squash. The kitchen has never been speedy, but now that the food is lacking in flavor and creativity, it seems to be for no good reason.
Great atmosphere, great music, great food, great service. Just a really great place!!!!
Great draft beer selection. Delicious food, especially the duck. Love the live music and ambiance. Wish it were closer to where I live so I could come more often.
Really enjoyed the live music
Food was okay. Sevice was average and slow. Overall a one time stop for us.
Our first time coming for dinner. We have done the brunch in the past and it was always great. Our service at dinner was excellent. and the server was very attentive and personable. And everything we ordered was delicious. The ony thing that I would improve on was my son's meal, the cedar plank arctic char. There was just very little food. Just a small piece of fish with some veggies scattered around it. We had to give him some of our fries so that he would have had enough to eat. It was prepared well, but just not enough food.
Great place, live music was wonderful! The service was excellent and the staff was really nice.
