We had a great time ! Serene Green was fabulous! We will be back, with friends.
We ate here for Bluegrass Brunch, are server was attentive, good drinks, music great. Food was nothing special. Had pulled pork hash, all potatoes with maybe two pieces of pork
Excellent food and service. The live music was fantastic.
The duck is perfection! Can’t beat a great meal & live music!!
everything tasted great. service was great. However, the live music was so loud that my date and i couldn't even have a conversation
Great open environment with really chill live music for brunch! $6 mimosas (not $5 like online menu says) and $12 breakfast. Good value overall and not cramped and loud like many places in Philadelphia.
Excellent food, service and pricing
Heritage was a wonderful mix of the jazz/funk scene with excellent original cuisine. I couldn't have asked for a nicer venue to celebrate Valentine's Day! Kudos!
Food was pretty good for me, but my wife's was not. However our server was awesome and took her meal off the bill. I wish I had gotten her name because it was unexpected and much appreciated. The live music that night was also really good.
Nice spot. Great atmosphere and attentive staff. The food was excellent and the live music was great.
The food and drink were excellent... our server was even better. We just felt sorry for the band since it was almost empty (early on a Sunday night). Somewhat expensive but really good food.
I've been to bluegrass brunches at Heritage in the past, but not for a while. In the past, I enjoyed several different dishes. The room is lovely, with lots of wood and natural light.
This time, I noticed that they no longer offer French Press coffee, which was a disappointment. The coffee was ok, not great. And the server brought a small bottle of cream or milk, which contained enough for barely one cup.
My smoked salmon flatbread was very salty. I guess I should have asked about that first. The server was attentive, almost to the point of overdoing it. However, when we needed our table turned around so we could face the band, she did not offer to help or find someone who could, so we had to do it ourselves.
The band was delightful and very entertaining. I will return, but I will be cautious about which dish I order. By the way, there was no problem using two credit cards so we could split the bill. We appreciated that.
Overall, Heritage was a great place to eat, drink and listen to live music; however, if you are going to hangout a while after finishing your meal, beware! They got our meal out to us, in what felt like, 10 seconds and the waiter pretty much avoided our table until he saw we were almost done eating, trying to get us boxes and hurrying us up. He did not once come up to ask us if we wanted another round of drinks (even when glasses were visibly empty), we had to flag him down to ask for another round. It seemed like they couldn't wait to give us our check, so they could get us out. Our reservation was at 7:15 PM and we were there for an hour at most. I don't know that I would go back based on that. I was disappointed because we could have definitely stayed for a few more drinks if they weren't rushing us out the door.
Awesome from start to finish. Great service, food and musical entertainment! Keep up the great work. We’ll definitely be back.
Great space, delicious food, and accommodating / friendly staff. Loved the live music for brunch, too!
Enjoyed the food. Had a great waiter - Michael - who was doting, and just a real pleasant person. Good veggie options for me.
There was a jazz band and I loved the music. Problem was it was too loud and basically stifled any conversation to be had at dinner. Hard wall, floor and ceiling surfaces make it worse.
Overall a nice neighborhood place with very good food and very pleasant atmosphere. I liked it a lot and would definitely go back.
Great beer selection. Somewhat limited menu. I had a filet special that was a little pricey for the cut (size) and quality. Ordered black and blue and it came out close to medium and no black. But good flavors and excellent Brussels sprout side.
Sat at a high top at the end of a wide aisle servicing the kitchen, probably five feet wide, and despite the width and no crowd at the adjacent bar one food runner managed to bump into my chair nearly every time - started to get ridiculous to the point it was a distraction from would otherwise have been a nice overall experience.
We went in for my brother’s birthday dinner and the food and service were great!
Love the live reggae! <3
another Outstanding evening at Heritage. this time was dinner. Have done excellent brunch in the past. Service, outstanding, from the greeting at the door, the servers, the bartending and management. Drinks fantastic. Very good Manhattan - excellent bourbon choices. Menu - outstanding share plates - Burrata, Meatballs, Gnocchi. Entrees - I loved the Duck.
Music is top notch - come for drinks, dinner and stay all night
The restaurant was super accommodating with changing the reservation time at the last minute on a Friday which was so appreciated! The live music just added to the wonderful ambiance. The cheese plate was fantastic. Would definitely return!
The server was attentive and knowledgeable, and the staff overall was welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the ambiance a lot.
Great time there, and live music was an added bonus!
Great service! Went for brunch and food and drinks were really good. I got the shakshouka and a coffee based cocktail and both were amazing - very flavorful.
Great music at the bluegrass brunch. Balanced cocktails, great beer selection, small but meticulously crafted menu... What more could you want?
We really enjoyed the food , cocktails and the live jazz was wonderful ! Would definitely go back !
Great atmosphere, live music and the food is excellent.
Great music! Loved the Jersey Cornpickers. Food was really good. Experience would have been even better if our server had been friendly. She generally seemed like a server that hates brunch shift.
Heritage was awesome! They have good live music, a great vibe, and quality food.
Awesome food and music! Perfect vibe for a date night or a night out with friends. We will definitely be back!
The food was excellent and the live jazz was fantastic!
Great beer selection, excellent service, enjoyed the food.
Fantastic, as always.
Delicious food, great service and wonderful music! Loved it and will be back!
Heritage is a nice looking restaurant with cool live music and decent food. Service was ok, not great, starting with the hostess who would not seat us at a different table even though the restaurant was half full. My husband ordered a Mule cocktail and was disappointed that it did not come in a copper mug; his view is that ordering a Mule implies a copper mug! My salad and his soup were very good, the pickled vegetables were disappointing, but our chicken sandwich and burger entrees were ver good. So, a decent meal, but with so many options in Philadelphia, not sure we'll be rushing back to Heritage.
Fun night with great beer and reggae music
Bluegrass brunch on Sundays has become a regular event with us. Music is only surpassed by excellent choices for brunch, The pancakes with brown sugar butter are great, Sausage has a bit of country spice that
makes the biscuits and gravy even better.
Great service, moderate sound due to a fantastic bluegrass band
BlueGrass Brunch was amazing. From an amazing cocktail list, crab cakes with a spin to multiple banjos, Heritage is a one of a kind experience. Highly recommend checking out the Blue Grass Brunch, happy hour and definitely the next time you have guest in the city.
We loved the band and the food.
