We love the Heritage! Food and service is always great and the menu has something for everyone. In particular music night with Kaplan is always a blast!

I've been here a few times and have found the food and service to be very inconsistent. The first time I visited I thought this would quickly become my new favorite restaurant. The food was amazing, and service was good that night. The second time the food was half as good and the server was very inattentive. It's been back and forth like that every time since. During my most recent trip the "warm bread" had warm and cold spots (it seemed like the bread had been frozen earlier), the mac and cheese was underseasoned, and I sent back the Sicilian cauliflower side I ordered (everyone at my table tried it and agreed it should be sent back). I almost never send food back. I really want to love this place, which is why I keep returning, but I'm about one visit away from giving up on it.

At first arrival, we were confused about the parking but there is plenty of you go out back. We were seated in the pub area which was super crowded and yes, the tables were super close together but it’s noisy and you can’t really hear the people next to you. We ordered a couple drinks (yum), Brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese, and the hake. All were super delicious. The parsnip purée under the hake was amazing! The desserts were all home made, so we got the chocolate cake and it was so good. Service was quite fantastic. It was busy but you wouldn’t know it with how fast our wonderful waitress (Erica) grabbed stuff for us. All in all, it was probably one of the best meals/experiences we’ve had at a local restaurant. We can’t wait to go back and try more things (burger looked fantastic).

Had to go ask for our own menus, took forever for someone to take our order and then we were never checked on, no water refills or drink re-orders until they came to clear our dishes. We received a dessert menu and the never saw our server again, they didn’t come to see if we actually wanted to dessert or give the check or anything, we had to flag down another waitress and ask for the check. Food was ok and there was a nice ambiance.

I would recommend this restaurant for it's service, food and ambience. Restaurant was very busy for a Thursday, but the service was still very good. The place reeks of hospitality. I will definitely return.

My boyfriend and I had our first blind date at HOS 2 years ago so we always go back for our anniversary but its a low key place that is perfect for any day of the week. We've always gone to the pub side where the atmosphere is upscale casual and warm and welcoming. There is always a fire in the fireplace and the bar is long and comfortable and not too loud. The bartenders are friendly and very knowledgeable about both the menu and drink suggestions. The menu is limited but the quality is exceptional. We started with salads. I had the little gem and kale with goat cheese and my boyfriend had the Caesar. They were large and fresh. Big enough to share which we will do next time. My boyfriend loves the pizza and I usually have seafood. I had swordfish this time and it was excellent. Very flavorful and moist. At the suggestion of the bartender, we shared the chocolate panna cotta with the most decadent caramel sauce and a chocolate shortbread cookie for dessert. Definitely worth the calories
