Gorgeous view of the New York Skyline. Excellent food, nice ambiance, fair price. My only negative comment is parking - it is hard to get a parking & they have no valet parking as the restaurant is deep inside the building.
If you like dining with a view, this is a good restaurant for you!
I arrived on time with six guests to discover that Henry on the Hudson was closed for that night. Only the cleaners were working. Disappointed of course. We had to scrounge for alternate dining. Difficult to rate without actually dining
Great price location and servuce live the view price was reasonable
Great atmosphere. The location was a little hard to find so I was late for my reservation but the staff was very accommodating. Overall, I had a good time.
The view was great and the food was very good. I ordered a NY Strip (rare) and it actually came rare! The flavor was great. Our table was a bit remote although that had little impact on our server, he came to us just enough that we never felt forgotten. There was a bit of a damp odor at our table, which might have been because of its proximity to the kitchen. Prices of menu items was good, not going to kill your wallet.
We have eaten at Henry's in the past and have enjoyed it every time. Same for this time. Problem we had was the food coming out, very long. They were very busy but 35 minutes waiting for salads and sandwiches is a little much.
Food and waitress was great. The only problem service was way too slow for a work lunch. It took us 1 1/2 hrs. - somehow this was not taken in to consideration.
We were told this was more of a lunch restaurant but during our stay in Jersey City we ate dinner here 3 nights in a row. The food and service is good and the outdoor seating offers a spectacular view of the NY skyline. We couldn't get enough of it! The staff is attentive and the price is very reasonable.
Very nice water view which compensates for limited menu
Well, I was kinda annoyed that the host walks in and ignores the fact of me waiting to be seated. Instead, he attends to the lady who was standing behind me. I didn't make a big deal over it but still made me feel slighted. When he came to seat me, they had initially gave my reserved table to the woman. The hostess realized there wasn't another table as I requested. As a result, they had taken the woman from my table requested. Then, sat me down to that table. However, the service from that point was great. The food was delicious and the services was prom
Excellent view but food was sub-par! Chicken sandwich was tough and tasteless. View of NYC and the Hudson River was awesome. Maybe will return once more to try something different.
They cancelled our reservation because they booked a large party instead.
Definitely had a great time here place was nice view was awesome food was amazing bang bang shrimp is to die for went for my anniversary and had a great time service was perfect very friendly definitely will be going back and will tell my fiends about this place until next time
Made a reservation only to find there were
Few people there and didn't really one. Of the few items on the menu they only had half. VERY DISSAPPOINTING!!!! If you knew the menu was VERY limited why didn't you text me and tell me before we all travaled the hour it took plus traffic and a 15.00 parking spot to get there. Only good thing was the Waite staff lead by Aldin.
Nothing at all notable about the restaurant, but it was convenient to the Hyatt and our plans. unlikely to return
Food could be better. Some waiters were rude and ignored us. View was amazing. This is a place I'll revisit for a brief lunch with family.
Food was not great. Grilled veg panini was dry and flavorless. View was SPECTACULAR! Other food looked good. Fries were very good.
Nice place to eat for a good view. I expect even better in summer. The food was OK. French Onion soup was lovey. But the main courses were disappointing in flavour. The wine selection was good.
The view of the new world tower at night is outstanding.
Food was awful. There was no host to greet us so we awkwardly stood around for over five minutes until we asked the bar t
The food was actually good on my visit. I read some reviews prior to going that said the opposite but since we wanted somewhere convenient but with a beautiful view we headed there anyways. The views of lower Manhattan are perfect! We ordered the fried calimari, chicken wings, the Cuban sandwich and a cheddar cheese burger and everything tasted good. Our only complaint is regarding service. At first the waiter was very attentive but he then disappeared... overall not a bad place for some simple good tasting food.
Was really just a bar scene and nothing about a view for sure
Took a friend here to lunch for her birthday. The restaurant is located in an office building plaza with both indoor & outdoor seating. I requested an outdoor table so we could enjoy the view of Manhattan. They sat us right next to the revolving door where everyone goes through nonstop. Had a hard time ignoring them. Our waiter asked if we wanted something to drink the moment we sat down so I asked him to give a few moments. He seemed perturbed by that but was back again within 2 minutes. We split the Thai chicken skewers for appetizer. Although the chicken tasted fresh, it was on the bland side. We only had our appetizer for 5 minutes before we were served out entrees, which turned out to be quite disappointing. My friend had the hot prime rib sandwich. The meat was very dry. I ordered the grilled shrimp wrap. It tasted okay however, I wanted some fresh lemon with it but had to wait 5-10 minutes before we could get a waiter's attention. The dessert, chocolate chip brownie sundae, and espresso at least made up for the disappointing lunch. Instead of a relaxing lunch, enjoying the partial view we had, we felt totally rushed through our meal, even though most of the restaurant was empty. What a shame to have a restaurant like this that has such beautiful views of the Hudson. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone! Plenty more places better than this to go to.
The view of Manhattan.
Food is always fresh here and served by waitstaff w/very good attitude. Never disappointed lunching here.
Service and atmosphere were amazing. Good was not good. Gritty greens in my flavorless salad, my seared tuna was no where near sushi grade, and was very bland.
With a window table you have a great view of the Manhattan Skyline. The food is good and there is a reasonable selection. I have eaten here before with no complaints. However, this time the service left something to be desired. When we first arrived the service was fine but, as the evening progressed the service got slower and slower and we waited at least 15 minutes for coffee and had to go and find the waiter for that. Where we were sitting was not busy so I do not believe it was because of too many clients. Sometimes it is that there are not enough and staff socialize more than they should.
The view was amazing - food good, but not great. Service was also good - waiter was attentive. Will mostly like go back just drinks and the view.
