Henry’s Majestic was a fun experience for dinner! There is complimentary valet, always a nice thing to take advantage of. Wasn’t too packed for a Saturday evening. There was a live band until 10 and the vibe was very down-tempo and chill. Food and drink was a bit pricy for sure, especially for the type of food it was, pretty much glorified bar food which really lacked finesse. The flavor of the food was delicious despite that fact! Bourbon meatballs, though pricy for a small portion, had great flavor and the meatballs themselves were juicy and nicely cooked with a bit of crunchy on the outside. The Reuben was messy but tasted fabulous. The choice of bread, marble rye, was perfect (my fave) but definitely needed to be toasted more. I opted for a salad instead of chips. Nothing too special about the salad, it was lightly dressed in their house herb vinaigrette, not bad. New York Strip sandwich was also delicious. Cooked medium rare (as ordered) and served with fries and a side of horseradish cream. The sandwich itself looked like a kind of sad burger at first glance, but definitely proved itself once you took that first bite. Would have liked there to be a side of Au Jus for dipping as opposed to just having French onion jus on the sandwich itself. Horseradish cream could have also used more horseradish, it was extremely mild. Overall good experience, tasty food and great atmosphere, but definitely a bit pricy
Highly disappointed with our most recent visit to HM. We’ve had at least a half dozen meals at HM, but Saturday will likely be the last. We were seated in the bar area (not the best spot for a party of 4 dinner) and basically forgotten throughout much of our meal.
Drinks took an inordinate amount of time to arrive at the table even after reminding the server and hostess. In addition, one of the steak entrees was not enjoyable/edible (a large portion of fat).
Given the price point, along with the numerous options in the Greenville/Knox area, this experience will make it very difficult to return.
A group of 26-year-olds thought the band was loud... which should tell you something. We ended up moving inside.
Henry’s is always fun!! Great brunch!!
Had a yummy brunch at Henry's Majestic. Started with a couple small plates which are always tasty. Build your own sparkle bar was a lot of fun. So many choices and interesting creations you can make for yourself. Food was very good and came out fast from the kitchen despite how busy it was for Sunday brunch.
Missing ingredients: Got the burger but they were out of brioche buns - they substituted Rye bread...thought it was ok but Rye bread overpowered most of the flavor of the burger. Very disappointing - and this wasn't the first time we've been there where they were out of something and had to substitute lesser quality ingredients.
Reservation was at 1, was not seated until 120. Ordered drinks immediately which were not delivered until 2. Absurdly long time to wait for food and drinks. It seemed as though this was their opening weekend, which i know was not the case. Never going back.
They did not honor our reservation. They said it would be a 30 minute wait. Received a text from them 45 minutes after our reservation time that our table was ready. So we left and another great spot. Too many good places to eat in this area to be treated this way.
As always, delicious food and friendly wait-staff! (Many thanks to Dave!) Quick service, yummy bubbly-bar!
Service was terrible. Calamari - cold, batter wouldn't stick to squid. Oysters came out an hour later - 2nd appetizer. Oysters had no lemon and no cocktail sauce. Asked for lemons, along with our long-dry glasses. Got lemons after all oysters gone - about 30 minutes later. Food was meh. Calamari bad. Oysters - even if had been presented with everything - were way, way too expensively priced. Geez - 19.00 for a half dozen, come on? Our waiter had so many tables it took forever to get him to come by or get us anything. Complained to the food runners multiple times to get help. Tables next to us were fairly upset as well. Probably could have doubled the sales on beverages if someone had just come by to ask for orders. Music was too loud too. Could not hear ourselves talk over the band playing. Way too loud. It would take some kind of miracle to come back - maybe 1/2 price feature nights? I don't know......
Perfect experience. Great ambiance. When the food arrived it was excellent. Perfect burger.
The first time I went to Henry's Magestic was on a summer afternoon. There was live music on the patio. The appetizers are good, and the cocktails were thoughtful and fun. I wanted to go back and enjoy the bar some more. We went for my birthday the other night. The food was pretty good.
They have a new chef and the menu items are in the process of changing, so a few choices were not available. No problem.
The drink menu online did not match what was currently available, though. I think the bar is one of the main assets Henry's Magestic has going for it. Not keeping the website up to date is lazy, and then not being able to make a past drink was frustrating. The drinks we did have were good, though.
It's too far of a drive to just go to the bar, which was the main selling point for me, and I like to research what they have online to see what the bartender is currently thinking about. I'm not sure that we will be back.
My husband and I went this last weekend and loved it. The food was fantastic. The music was great. The other customers were friendly. Typically, I wouldn’t expect to interact with anyone from the surrounding tables, but at this place, everyone was talking to everyone else and having a great time. So, clearly the drinks are amazing as well. Finally, we learned that it’s a dog friendly restaurant that allows you to bring your dog on the patio. The patio is covered and heated. So, it’s quite comfortable, even in the winter.
Did brunch with a bachelorette party on a Saturday. Staff was friendly and attentive, even on a cold weather day. The burger was great! The Majestic Breakfast looked awesome and the sparkle bar is a must!
Everything was fabulous! The only thing I’d say is the music made it really hard to hear your friends at the table. I’d recommend maybe having the musicians play acoustic and not use amplifiers. They’re amazing and the space is small enough that we can enjoy their music without being insanely loud.
I got the majestic double double. It was delicious. Also a new experience on Mimosas! Server was delightful!
Such a great place for both brunch and dinner. Have dined here many times for brunch and most recently for dinner and absolutely loved it! My fiance hasn't stopped talking about how delicious his pasta was and I had the half chicken and it was incredibly tasty.
surprisingly good food for a bar/restaurant combo.... very comfortable setting, good vibe, music area is seperate so can either listen to it or stay inside and be able to hear it and still converse. excellent spot. modest pricing.
Band was a little loud.
Holly was amazing and made our NYE special. Loved the food and atmosphere.
We spent New Year’s Eve here and it was great. My only complaint was how loud the music was which made it difficult to have conversations at the table.
So fun! Great place for NYE dinner!
Sunday brunch was busy but our server was not overwhelmed, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great. Great spot!
Everything was great except our waiter. He almost ruined our brunch.
It was WAY TOO LOUD. The speakers overhead were obnoxious and actually started to irritate my ears. Needless to say, having a conversation was extremely difficult and unrewarding. It's one thing to have music to create an energetic environment and another thing to make the music too loud. Sure, 20-year olds and maybe 30-year olds can deal with it -- and I'm saying deal with it because they don't know any better, and they subject themselves to sounds that are too loud at bars, concerts, clubs etc, but the reality is, there is a more optimal level of music that would still create an energetic environment that the establishment wants and make it suitable and comfortable to have a conversation with whomever you came with. Do more research to find that optimal sound level. It's unnecessarily too loud. It's hard to recommend this restaurant for anything other than a party scene with loud music which doesn't require having a conversation. So brunch, lunch and dinner is out. Maybe a drink at the bar, but then again don't expect a conversation to happen comfortably. Additional Note: There was 45-1 hr wait to get food after placing order, but they packaged it to-go and gave it to us complimentary, so that was a plus. The service staff tried to help with the noise, but the management overdid the noise concern and did nothing. The service staff was also very apologetic in the wait times for food and were accommodating in moving us to another table to help with noise level (although it didn't ultimately help unfortunately). Ultimately, it was the obnoxious noise level that brought the entire experience down. The waits could have been tolerable otherwise. And "Energetic" as a rating is not necessarily a good thing, but I'm required to select what options are provided in the survey.
Henry's Majestic is that perfect "in-between" spot, trendy enough but still casual. I almost always order the marrow cheeseburger made with Akashi beef, aged cheddar, caramelized onions and the works. It truly is a quality burger and simply one of the best burgers in town. The live music always sets a special atmosphere to the restaurant and the bands are consistently good. The crowd is less pretentious and loud than it used to be which also a big plus.
Great food and service! We had a great time, very eclectic ambiance creating a really fun atmosphere with a creative menu
It wasn’t very crowded, but the music was extremely loud, so still sometimes difficult to hear the people I was with.
The dumplings a cauliflower were amazing. Very attentive service.
We were sat on the patio and it was freezing and service was the same as a chili’s. Food was good but because it was so cold it got cold really fast.
We went for brunch Saturday. It’s a really cute spot with really nice outdoor heated seating. However, The food was so so, nothing special. For the price, I expected better. The service wasn’t very good. We asked for hot sauce several times and she never brought it. We also sat for 25-30 minutes before she came back and asked if we wanted our check. It was busy, but not terribly so. I probably wouldn’t go back.
Was disappointed that despite having a reservation over 24 hours in advance, and calling to confirm my reservation, we were sitting on the side of the restaurant by the bar (they had to put the table together last minute), completely away from the heart of the restaurant, and right next to the door in 38 degree weather-- we all had to keep our winter jackets on from the door constantly being opened. There is no vibe on the bar side of the restaurant-- it is completely partitioned from the main part of the restaurant. Food was good and service was fine, but I was showing people around from out of town and was super super disappointed by being sat on that side.
Overall I would recommend this restaurant to people looking for brunch. My one issue was the seating. We reserved a table for six people and Got placed on the patio in a really awkward position we couldn’t get out of the booth especially when you’re there to get up to go to the Mamosa bar it makes it difficult. The food was ok, nothing spectacular.
Delicious , great service ! Our server was wonderful and the host was the bomb!! Had the BLT for brunch and steak and eggs and the champagne bar !! Highly recommend!!
French Toast was burned and had to be sent back; Sausage was burned and sent back and also tasted sour. Been there before and it was really good. Disappointed!
Absolutely love this place. The mimosa bar is on point and Vietnamese coffee is delish (also hard to find in Dallas!) Outdoor searing is perfect even when it’s cool bc they block it off and turn on the heat lamps. One of my favorite spots for brunch!!
Great place! One of the best brunch spots in Dallas!
Amazing experience! Champagne Sparkle Bar is a must.
What a fun spot this is. We were there on a Sunday evening, which happens to be Industry Appreciation Night. If you aren't getting in on that and you are in the Industry you are missing out. That wasn't what drew us there but it was a great perk. We have 10 of us so we sampled a slew of the apps like: Meat and Cheese Board which was full of lots of great choices; Maple Bourbon Meatballs are a don't miss; as well as the Hummus. For main courses some of the items we enjoyed were the rib eye steak as well as the rib eye sandwich, the meat was so tender and seasoned to perfection. The fish tacos and halibut were both hits as well. Dessert we had them all and passed them around. I don't know if I would pick out one as a favorite, you can't go wrong with any of them but the butterfinger ice box cake might have gotten a slight edge. Our server was Samantha. She's warm, welcoming, has complete knowledge of the menu and was attentive refilling the water almost on cue as well as giving us space to just catch up with one another.
