Incredible brunch as always! The chef has added some new menu items, so if you've not been in a while, be sure you go back and give them a try! The new Pineapple Bruleed French Toast is👌
Had worst service ever. DONT EVER GET THE GUY WITH GREEN HAIR! We planned to dine and ordered an appetizer that was served 30 minutes after we ordered. Each drink took about 20 minutes to arrive after ordering. By the time our server asked if we were ready to order our entree, 1.5 hours elapsed, so at the point we assumed it would be another 30-40 minutes for the food to arrive-We didn’t order an entree.
To make matters worse, our server (Green Hair) brought us the bill with an overcharged amount that needed another 20 minutes to resolve.
The food was very good—-crab appetizer, halibut and short ribs....service was very slow—-lost the waiter for about 15 min toward end of meal & it wasn’t real busy.
I would go back but Henry’s isn’t at the top of my list.
Went on a Thursday at around 6:00. Loved the appetizers -Cuban cigars, Shrimp Scampi, and Meatballs. The burgers were great. I had scallops and another person had the shrimp fettuccine. The scallops were good, Not great, and the shrimp hardly had lemon flavor present despite it being a descriptor. Overall, food was good date food and would love to come back to sit on the patio. Our server was a bit distracted which is why the review isn’t higher.
I would recommend to friend based on a few years of dining there with no problems.
This visit was a disaster from beginning...they were not busy with only a few on patio.
We had to flag a waiter to give drink order which never came...so I went to bartender and asked if order had been placed...it was sitting on bar with waiter nowhere in site...he said she would be back... I asked bartender if he could bring drinks to table, reluctant at first and then said he would bring one if I wanted to bring the other. I commented that it seemed they were in business to serve customers and he said"well I made the drinks for you"....my husband/I decided to leave at that point as it was clear no one there was wanting work or serve customers. Thank you!
Great overall. Music was very loud
My friend and I stopped in for brunch before heading to see Hamilton. We were greeted by the sweetest hostess and sat right away. The mimosa bar was so fun and we ordered WAY too much food (both kinds of Monkey Bread, BLT and the full breakfast plate) but everything we ate was DELISH! Cant wait to come back when we have a longer time to linger.
Everything about it is just awesome. With all the many choices in this city, it truly shines as one of the most outstanding.
Love the patio! Excellent service. Great live music (Matthew Bell)!
Service was extremely slow and the food was cold. Went for brunch and was told they were out of eggs and all cakes. Cool place to look at, not to eat drink or talk with friends.
The tamales were not hot-barely warm and not much food for the price. I left hungry and dissatisfied. Server was kind but not the most attentive. Would not go back.
Love it here! The server was great! Highly recommended!
My date loved her reuben but my scallops actually gave me an upset stomach. However, it's a relaxing, fun place and the live music is very nice. We'll go back.
While the food and the service were very good, the noise level was way too high. It made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. I like an energetic room, but the piped in noise was simply too loud.
We had a wonderful time! Loved the food and drinks. We were seated shortly after arriving and only waited a few minutes at the bar for our reserved table. We even had to an an extra seat and they were accommodating.
The food was mediocre. Our table ordered the scallops, shrimp linguine, short rib, & burger. None of us were overwhelmed by any of our dishes. We did have good wine.
The price tag was a bit steep for what we received and the music was WAY too loud. I could hardly hear anyone at our table which was frustrating.
The service was good. Our waiter was attentive.
Music was way too loud. Service was poor. We had to correct the server many times on items he got wrong.
Went for brunch and enjoyed the hash, which was much lighter than I expected-not the heavy gut packer it could have been. OpenTable's noise scale calls in energetic, I call if deafening. If you're young and not worried about losing your hearing this is a great brunch place.
The food here is fantastic and the decor and ambiance are great. Unfortunately, poor service really brought this experience down. It took us 15 minutes to get waters in the first place and then had to ask all the time for more. They ran out of something we ordered and said they would take it off the bill, then what do you know, still on the bill. The waiter didn't believe us when we said it needed to be taken off. The dirty plates were never cleared off the table, and we were there for a birthday so we had to stack all the dirty plates at the end so we could do presents without getting everything dirty. The stack was never picked up either.
Great food, great service!
The food was not good. 4 differnt people, 3 different dishes and none of us liked our food. We cross tasted each other's food and it was just bland and/or too much cheese or sauce and not seasoned.
Service was poor. They got several orders wrong. There also wasn't enough silverware on the table when our food arrived. It took them 10 min to bring some more and our food got cold in the interim.
Food was average, but definitely not worth the price.
Patio was really nice (good temp, comfy seating), but the music was too loud and you had to shout to talk to people.
Wonderful brunch as always! Great drinks and food, love the small plates to share. We had waffles, the brunch burger, eggs/ all fantastic! Such a cool place to bring guests or go on the weekend.
Henry's Majestic is one of my favorite brunch places in Dallas! The food is stellar and the service is good. One of the best things about brunch is the "Sparkle Bar" (aka, a mimosa bar). You choose the type of champagne/prosecco/sparkling wine that you want, and then you get to build the rest yourself. There are lots of different types of juices, fruit and bitters to choose from.
My absolute favorite brunch dish is the chicken and waffles—but everything is really good. The only downside is that if you sit inside, the music is VERY loud. I would suggest sitting on the patio for a more relaxed vibe or if you're bringing the whole family.
Probably about the 6th time we have visited since it opened and the first time in over a year because all of the poor experiences. The staff is under trained, very confused and there is always something that happens every visit that makes for an unsatisfactory visit. We gave it another shot and they will not get another. They do have one thing going for them, they do think their restaurant is very cool and hip.
I visited for my 23rd birthday with my twin brother for my first time and my experience was nonetheless almost perfect. Food, music, and comfortable environment with a sense of an out-of-town feel right in my home town.
I had dinner here with my friend for my birthday and the food was amazing! We had such a great time! Love the staff.
We go to this restaurant to see their amazing maître d’ Jeffrey. He is a treasure!!
Food was mediocre during this visit. Met friends for brunch and two of the guests ordered burgers, medium but it came out overcooked and dry. My chicken and waffles was brought to the table last after the others had started eating. When I took my first bite, the chicken was cold as if it had been sitting out for a while before being delivered to the table. So needless to say, this visit was not the best.
Was visiting Dallas and i really wanted to find a good brunch spot and this fit it!The sparkle bar is a great idea too!
The music was very loud. I’m sure it was intended to be upbeat and fun. But there was a short in the speakers and it was scratchy and irritating the entire meal. The manager attempted to fix it but did not. We had a large party and could not engage in conversation.
We came in from out of town with a large group. They were more than happy to accommodate our large party so we could sit together. Staff was super friendly and once again able to accommodate our group. However, the best part about our visit was the FOOD!!! Oh my, I can not wait to go back when we are in town again. Highly recommend!! Everything was so good. Don’t let the outside seating scare you if it’s cold. It is enclosed and they have overhead heaters through out. It’s not completely sealed from the wind/cold but it was definitely tolerable. Don’t miss this one.
Fun brunch spot! We will definitely be back.
The bartender was not attentive and order included another table’s food on our tab
We went to Henry's Majestic for brunch while in Texas for a Bachelorette party. We LOVED it so much. The food was amazing and so was the make your own mimosa bar. Our waitress was very nice and the food came out in a very timely manner for it being so busy. Everyone was so nice and we loved the feel of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend friends and family going.
It was super busy and it was our server's first brunch so I am giving this more slack. I called, made reservations and requested patio seating but didn't get it. Had to send the food back because it was cold and took 45 min to get our check and actually leave. My party and I actually joked about how they were "now holding us against our will" because it took so long for the check and we just wanted to leave.
Henry’s Majestic was a fun experience for dinner! There is complimentary valet, always a nice thing to take advantage of. Wasn’t too packed for a Saturday evening. There was a live band until 10 and the vibe was very down-tempo and chill. Food and drink was a bit pricy for sure, especially for the type of food it was, pretty much glorified bar food which really lacked finesse. The flavor of the food was delicious despite that fact! Bourbon meatballs, though pricy for a small portion, had great flavor and the meatballs themselves were juicy and nicely cooked with a bit of crunchy on the outside. The Reuben was messy but tasted fabulous. The choice of bread, marble rye, was perfect (my fave) but definitely needed to be toasted more. I opted for a salad instead of chips. Nothing too special about the salad, it was lightly dressed in their house herb vinaigrette, not bad. New York Strip sandwich was also delicious. Cooked medium rare (as ordered) and served with fries and a side of horseradish cream. The sandwich itself looked like a kind of sad burger at first glance, but definitely proved itself once you took that first bite. Would have liked there to be a side of Au Jus for dipping as opposed to just having French onion jus on the sandwich itself. Horseradish cream could have also used more horseradish, it was extremely mild. Overall good experience, tasty food and great atmosphere, but definitely a bit pricy
Highly disappointed with our most recent visit to HM. We’ve had at least a half dozen meals at HM, but Saturday will likely be the last. We were seated in the bar area (not the best spot for a party of 4 dinner) and basically forgotten throughout much of our meal.
Drinks took an inordinate amount of time to arrive at the table even after reminding the server and hostess. In addition, one of the steak entrees was not enjoyable/edible (a large portion of fat).
Given the price point, along with the numerous options in the Greenville/Knox area, this experience will make it very difficult to return.
A group of 26-year-olds thought the band was loud... which should tell you something. We ended up moving inside.
