Henry's End is a place for regulars (they've been open long enough to establish decades long followings), but the non-regulars still get the hospitality you hope for in a restaurant. With plenty of classics on their menu and always a slew of interesting seasonal dishes, you really can't go wrong. As an old school restaurant, they don't have a big social media presence and aren't recognized by today's trendy reviewers (Infatuation), but you truly can't go wrong here. Give them a try. You'll want to come back.

We've enjoyed eating at Henry's End since their opening in 1973 and continue to this day. Service is very personal, food is always delicious and wine is chosen with care. Plus it is quiet enough that you can speak at normal volume - a rare occurrence these days.

It was like coming home. I have been coming to Henry’s End since 1985 and it ages like a fine wine. Staff and owner are like family. The food is all about flavor. Everything pleases the palette and is memorable. Worth the trip to Brooklyn Heighte.

In town for three days and tried Henry’s End for the first time. Can’t say enough about this restaurant. Service was excellent. Everything we had from appetizers to desert was delicious. Even the drinks we had were very good. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.

What a delightful treat. Maybe a 15 minute walk form our hotel, a quaint, quite, cozy place to eat…. I wish we had this place in our home city of atlanta … we would visit 2-3 times a month…. And it would take several months to make our way through the offerings. The 2 meals we had (kangaroo and duck) were perfect. When we arrived back at the hotel… we made sure to tell the front desk: “ tell folks about Henry’End, no one will be the slightest disappointed!”

We went for brunch. You won’t be disappointed. Coffee is delicious, cocktails are supposedly top notch but I’m sober almost 4 years now. Doughnuts are made fresh in house every morning and rotate week to week, apple fritter pictured along with the double smashed burger, fried chicken sandwich and the egg torta which can’t be missed. Head on over after 12 on the weekends. The dinner is also unbelievable, game menu in effect currently.

The fried chicken's coating was a tad bitter while the meat was nicely cooked. I told the manager I thought it might be over-fried, and he claimed it's the seasoning that makes it look so dark( but a little bitter?). When we arrived our reservation wasn't checked, but I had to supply my credit card# when I made it; if I were a no-show it would have been charged $50, not checking my reservation how do they know I came? Not a good system.

A trip down memory lane for my friend and I. Last time I brought him there was 1999 we reckon! I hadn't been in ages myself despite just living in Red Hook but as a fellow restaurant owner, I hardly get out! Thank you for your consistency in everything.

Lovely place! Delicious food and great service. It’s expensive so some ways to refine: the rice pilaf side is totally bland not deserving of the quality of the restaurant; don’t order it. Portions of some dishes are small, others large. The dessert was tiny, and one of apps as well, the mains were a good size. The sea bass was heaven and the duck as well, the warm goat cheese app with golden beets was wonderful. The Agnolotti was good, needed more salt or some other flavor and one more piece for the price.
