Excellent and creative food, including this time of year, a selection of game dishes.
Service is beautiful; the atmosphere is casual, with a great neighborhood feel. Well-priced wine list--we enjoyed our pinot noir. A wonderful, welcoming restaurant.
Excellent as always
Great place to go to
I’m am a very frequent patron
Excellent service, Very personal experience . great food.
I’m a Henry’s End lifer, having been dining there for well over thirty years. Very eclectic, high end menu, which includes several wild game options, in a casual ambience environment. Service is always top notch. Tab will set you back a bit, so for all these years it’s been a few times per year, special event type of venue for me. If you want a great meal in an enjoyable atmosphere, you can trust the owner, Mark, and his friendly, efficient staff to provide it.
Incredible food as always. Great option for outdoor dining: we ate in the heated outdoor seating area in under 20 degree weather. We dressed warmly and were totally comfortable—a few of us even ended up taking some of our layers off. Love this neighborhood staple!
The partridge potstickers & bison bourguignon were delicious, but 2 people splitting an appetizer, entree, 2 sides & 2 drinks came to $120, so not cheap, but an exotic selection of game based fare you won’t find anywhere else.
Excellent dinner - 4 different entrees, all excellent! Very good, welcoming, and friendly service.
New Year’s Eve and husband’s birthday celebration- a perfect setting to celebrate and enjoy a delicious and grown up meal. Always a pleasure to see Mark, the owner, who warmly welcomes you upon arrival. First class and extensive wine selections round out our reasons for always looking forward to a return visit. Still going strong after all these years.
Wonderful food and drink as usual. This is one of our favorite restaurants in New York. The recipes are simultaneously creative and tasty. The well-curated wine list is a great value. They kept op the level of service despite the fact that they were short-staffed. We say the bartender bring out dishes and the owner bus tables. Everyone was cheerful, and they never acted rushed or harried. We have been coming here for years, and this is where we are apt to bring guests from out-of-town.
It’s pleasant. The atmosphere is great. The service is super and the food excellent. Go there frequently!!!
Neighborhood gem! Consistently excellent food and service
Henry's end is very special to us. We went here after getting married on the Brooklyn bridge during the pandemic and now go on our anniversary. HE has old school New York charm with incredible meats and dishes. The staff are so attentive and helpful. We will be back next year for our 2 year anniversary!!
A long-time favorite in the Heights, still cooking up excellent food.
We enjoyed a fine dining experience as we have during the four plus decades we have had the pleasure.
A lovely neighborhood place. Ordered the Duck Apple brulee, a special of their "Game Festival." It was a healthy portion, but a little too much corn starch for my taste. The corn chowder with bacon was very good. My friends from Toronto enjoyed the meal.
Food was absolutely delicious.
Service was extremely courteous and professional
Their game festival is amazing and destination worthy!
Fantastic food and a stellar wine list, especially for older vintages. Service is always friendly and knowledgable. Our go-to place in Brooklyn Heights!
we are long time Henrys end goers and always love their food and service
I was disappointed in the food. Bisque was very bland. Turkey was not great either. Sides were very good. Pumpkin Cheesecake was delicious.
Perfect for Thanksgiving lunch - great food and amazing staff
Henry’s End has consistently amazing food and an impeccable wine selection.
Always a favorite. I take all of my favorite people here because it’s always wonderful. I still miss some of the old things from original menu & the cheese platter for dessert.
We ate in outdoor enclosed space which was heated comfortably despite temperature in forties. my friend who is wheelchair-bound was comfortable at our table for four.
The food and service were outstanding and Henry’s End has become our favorite restaurant in the Heights!
Delicious stuffed quail. The owner helped us select a good wine. Good service. A local Reataurant with a page of game options in season.
Very nice staff, great cocktails and the table bread is AMAZING. The food was okay, most things needed more salt and also some kind of acidity. We had the roasted eggplant for an appetizer, fried chicken for one entree, and spinach stuff chicken for another entree. While these items weren't terrible, we wouldn't order any of them again.
Even though I desperately miss its old space down the block, it remains the very best restaurant in New York City.
There is a lot to recommend this restaurant. I came for the game festival, and the elk was outstanding, cooked to the requested temperature. I also love the selection of wines by the glass, which I thought were a decent value. The place is bigger than the old one, but still on the small side, so some noise from neighboring tables is to be expected. The service was attentive, overall excellent.
The food is creative and delicious, the service friendly and professional, and the ambiance relaxing (especially when the background music is bossa nova.)
We have been coming to Henry’s End for more than 40 years, even though our trip is now longer than when we lived in the neighborhood. We have NEVER been disappointed.
What else in life can you say that about?…
Excellent scallopine! Truffle fries also way up there, too.
Henry’s End continues to be great place for a great meal. A bit pricey, but the service and courtesy of the staff match the quality of the kitchen in excellence.
Great food and service.
Food and service were excellent as always. The heaters made outside dining doable. Highly recommend for a special dinner
Henry's end is always fabulous and delicious! A real stalwart!
The entire staff was wonderful from the moment we arrived to the end of our meal. The sole was exceptional! The atmosphere was great!
Amazing! Used to go 20 years ago when they were located down the street and I am happy to say the food remains delicious just as I remembered.
Wonderful experience all the way through. Visited the prior location about 40 years ago. Glad to have rediscovered!
Dinner was delicious! We ate outdoors ... and it's getting a little chilly. They should think about installing heaters. Otherwise only good things to say.
Great food and attentive service!
Highly recommend. Henry's End has been in Bklyn Heights for over 40 years. There are many good reasons for that. I'm delighted they're still there. I haven't been back for decades, will return at every opportunity. My guests were thoroughly delighted. The staff is wonderful, food is very good.
