Henry’s End is a Brooklyn Heights neighborhood institution known for our inviting atmosphere, seasonal menus, award winning wine list and friendly service. We seek superior suppliers such as The Broken Arrow Ranch, Satur Farms, and Hudson Valley Farms, as well as the local farmer’s markets. We have been acknowledged for our food by Zagat (which stated “This is why they built the Brooklyn Bridge”), Gourmet, Bon Appetit, and many others. Our wine program has received the Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence”. The staff has hosted a dinner at the prestigious James Beard House.

Wonderful restaurant featuring seasonal food and game not often available elsewhere, wonderfully prepared and with great service in a homey, unpretentious atmosphere. So many wonderful offerings, making it so hard to decide which ones to pick. We had started with a delicious dish of fiddlehead ferns—available only for a few weeks a year, and the spicy and wonderful West Indian barbecued shrimp. Mains were a veal scaloppini with morels and Marsala sauce and an amazing elk chops, simply grilled to perfection, with garlic ramp butter and perfect frites. Desserts were also wonderful, and the prices very reasonable. We will surely return!

Excellent neighborhood restaurant with nice ambiance, great service and delicious food. I had the fried chicken with a Caesar salad and it was delicious. It’s a small place so definitely make reservations.

My wife and I have been coming to Henry's End for more than 40 years. It has moved a few blocks south of the old location on Henry Street, but its excellent food, ambience, terrific wine selection, and attentive staff have all travelled south with it. Owner Mark Lahm has been with Henry's End from the very early days, oversees daily operations as a loving parent does his small child, and manages to warmly greet each diner at entry. Henry's End is simply a Brooklyn Heights jewel. My wife & I will continue to dine here for as long as we're mobile enough to get here. . . .

This is a neighborhood treasure in an iconic neighborhood. It's great New American cuisine with a refreshing focus on game meats and portions and quality that justify the price. I've had the Elk chops and the Duck, and a number of tasty appetizers. Salads are good, too.

The fries were soggy when served as a side. Delivered in a deep tube and wrapped in paper. The veal lemonades was very over cooked and like leather. The salmon was over cooked even though order as medium. The tempura soft shell crab was excellent!

Friend suggested for a dinner at Henry’s End in Brooklyn. Feels like you’re in a local place, for neighbors. The menu is divine and we like game, turtle soup (which was divine), the flavors. Our waiter was very funny, watched us kvetch about dessert. We said no and out comes the best key lime with a note from the chef. Cassoulet was great. For out of towners, we felt at home in Brooklyn.

Very impressed by Henry's End. I had the seasonal tasting menu and really enjoyed everything that came out from the turtle soup to the perfectly cooked Elk chop. You can tell a lot of thought and prep goes into their dishes and I love the use of seasonal ingredients. The service was also great. My wife has some food allergies and the chef was nice enough to come out and help her with the menu. Their cocktails are very well done too. Definitely recommend and will go back and try out the rest of the menu.

Yet another amazing dining experience. The food, drinks and service were all on point once again. From the fluffy fresh focaccia and perfectly crafted cocktails to the brilliantly braised short ribs to the flawless flourless chocolate cake and excellent espresso, this is an elevated eating experience.
