Henrietta's Table will be open for breakfast from 8am-11am and Lunch from 12-2pm on New Year's Eve.
White wines suboptimal.
Menu disappointing this time.
Such a fun, fresh New England experience! Our waiter was so vibrant and accommodating!
Good food, good ambience, nice outdoor patio, large inside dining room, not too noisy, $10 validated parking
Very average food for the price.
Food was very good; sat outside which I wanted.
Great to be at an outdoor table.
Great to be at an outdoor table.
Food was above average but reasonably priced. We were in Cambridge visiting our daughter so the location was convenient with a beautiful outdoor seating area. Probably would not come back the next time we are here.
Great service, very nice atmosphere. Food was good, but not memorable.
Menu is excellent and the salads fish burger and BLT are worth trying.
Food prep and quality was exceptional. The staff are unfailingly competent and pleasant.
Excellent brunch menu for outdoor dining in quiet courtyard.
All the outdoor tables were taken but the host found us a good location with distance from other tables.
My only regret was not eating outside (should have brought my coat from my room as the heaters were not on); my mom ordered a salad which unfortunately delayed our entire table (4) of meals….
Located in the Charles Hotel, Henrietta's table is an excellent restaurant, specializing in American cuisine. I've had the pork chop - bone in - as well as the warm grain bowl. I've had the romaine salad and the corn chowder.
For dessert I've had the individual pie and, on another occasion, a variation of the Boston cream pie.
The dishes sound simple, but the preparation and presentation are spectacular.
For drinks, I've had the sangria and most recently, a mojito. Generous and spectacular.
Toward the end of the pandemic, I raved about the corn chowder and asked for the recipe. The waiter brought the Henrietta cookbook to our table! It was slow that evening but still, a nice gesture.
You can buy the cookbook, and strive for your own HT.
Wonderful food and service.
Never been disappointed by either the food or service. Our go-top spot in Harvard Square.
My spinach salad came fast and it was disappointing. I had to send it back because it needed to be tossed and the leaves were too large and a bit tough to make for easy eating.
Henrietta’s has been one of my go to’s since they opened. Food is usually good at a reasonable price… however… I have an allergy to hot peppers. The inside of my mouth and tongue literally blister. My throat could close up and cause me trouble breathing. I, as I always do, was very clear upfront about my allergy and how important it is that I not get anything with chilies, jalapeños, sriracha, etc. I ordered the salmon burger. The waitress checked on the tartar sauce that comes with it, there was heat in it, so we agreed to just have it come with just mayonnaise. The kitchen sent out the mayo they make with sriracha rather than plain. I asked the person who served us about it since it wasn’t white and he confirmed that it was just mayo. Being suspicious and always believing caution is best, I tried a very small dab, smaller than a pea even, and had to spit it out, but not until some damage was done. I downed ice cream and bread which helped, but should have never happened. If I had trusted them and put it on my salmon, I would have ended up in the hospital. Meanwhile, our burgers got cold and dry while I was dealing with this. The waitress was great and very concerned. She had a manager come over who I felt was just paying lip service and did not understand how important it is to pay attention to allergies. She comped us a desert which was totally inadequate. We paid for our meal and left. I had discomfort the rest of the day, but thankfully, I didn’t have a full blown allergy attack. This is not the first restaurant this has happened in. While it should never happen, at least the other managers showed concern, stopped by several times to make sure I was ok, comped our full meal and gave me their cards to contact should it get worse. Very disappointed that first it happened at a restaurant the quality of Henrietta’s and at the follow up of the management.
I always enjoy a meal at Henrietta's table. It's a great place to go if you want to have a conversation without shouting. The menu is not huge but well curated - something for everyone. The cabernet was exceptionally good. And I love the decor.
The service was impeccable as always. Everyone who works at Henrietta's table is so nice. I love this place.
Henrietta’s is located in a hotel (which I did not realize when I made the reservation.) It’s a really nice garden setup, and a pretty reprieve from the brick buildings. The menu is fantastic… we shared a fruit platter, which was a delicious and ripe array of a great selection of fruits. Our group had a variety of salmon bagel (the toasted sesame bagel was perfection!), poached eggs, hash browns (one of the stars on the table), bacon, sausage… it was all perfectly done. Coffee and juice were also notably good. This meal was a very pleasant surprise! Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch.
Henrietta's is among my absolute favorite restaurants in the Cambridge area. The service and food are welcoming, comforting, and wonderful. The fresh ingredients, perfect preparation, and exceptional, caring staff make this a must visit every time I am in the neighborhood. Love you, Henrietta's!
Had lunch there today with two friends - wonderful waitstaff and food.
On a beautiful early fall day, what could be nicer than to eat outside at Henrietta's Table? My guest and I had a lovely table sheltered from the wind and well away from other diners. Every dish was fresh, interesting, and delightful. Service was attentive, timely, and thoughtful. We had a lovely time celebrating my friend's birthday!
Get the chocolate bread pudding for dessert (prob to share...)
Food was quite tasty, extremely fresh and the menu provided variety for all kinds of eaters.
We always enjoy our time at Henriettas Table, and always take home 2 loaves of their excellent bread. Two of our party had the Statler Cut Chicken with mole sauce, and both commented it was good but not as good as they hoped. the other 2 had the quiche which was excellent. Two had the chowder which was good, I had the prosciutto with melon whereas the prosciutto was fine but the melon was not ripe. This is almost inexcusable as someone should have tasted the melon. If in fact it had not ripened, shame on the prep people. We all had dessert and the mini pecan pie (and I mean mini) was great save the size. Our friends shared the chocolate bread pudding which they enjoyed. We come from NH to eat here and will continue to do so as we enjoy the overall adventure. Nice of them to validate parking as well.
Always superb service and magnificent ambiance outdoors. A wonderful dining experience.
Love the crab-corn chowder and pot roast. This has been one of our favorite places since The Charles Hotel opened, what 30 years ago? Thanks.
Too many hard surfaces = noise. Service and table spacing fine. Food for the price was a bit disappointing.
Location of restaurant is a big draw, especially as several places in the Square have closed
We ate on the patio on a beautiful September day, so it would have been hard to be disappointed, and we were not. Service was gracious and food was excellent.
Been to Henrietta’s many, many times. It’s an old standby, consistently good with excellent service but NOT THIS TIME. Our waiter was rushed from the moment he first came to the table and when my guest asked for an expresso after lunch he walked
Away without even waiting to see what I wanted. Ugh!
Four of the party of six had the chicken sandwich. All four agreed that it "wasn't that good." Two of the party had the corn quiche. The corn was interesting, in that neither had eaten quiche with corn, but in the end the sweet corn flavor and volume overpowered the other ingredients. The greens on the side seemed nothing more than the baby spring greens one can buy in the plastic containers in the store.
The patio was nice but then again it was a brilliant early fall day. A fresh apple along the Charles would have served just as well.
Brought family in from out of town. Disappointing. Promised outdoor table. Not delivered. Service very slow Food used to be better
I wanted to treat my sister to a special dinner and evening of conversation. We hadn’t seen each other for more than a few minutes during the last year and a half due to COVID-19. Henrietta’s has been my go-to spot for many years. I can always depend on excellence in everything from food to service. Thanks to all the folks at Henrietta’s for hanging in there through these trying times and for being there for me, my family and friends.
Great food, service, ate at the bar, bartenders friendly, organized, nice atmosphere. We will return again…
We had an outstanding experience. The food was fresh, plentiful portions, farm to table, delicious!the prices were very fair. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.
Good efficient service and wonderful fresh food. Particularly enjoyed the Scrod.
