Waited 20 minutes for drinks. Clam chowder was terrible. Tasteless potatoes in a flavorless liquid. Felt like a chain restaurant. Very disappointing

I've enjoyed many meals at Henrietta's Table since they opened and last week's dinner with longtime friends visiting from out of town was no exception. This is a comfortable room with cordial servers and a reliable menu built around locally sourced ingredients. The current wine list was so-so. Salads, entrees and sides were solid and satisfying. The farm custard dessert with berries was excellent. The bread pudding, which has long been my "go to" dessert was a way too well done burnt blob. I've always been partial to breakfast and lunch at HT (and Sunday brunch is super); and for a pleasant dinner in the heart of Harvard Square you really can't go wrong.

Nice spot for casual weeknight dinner with friends; the food was quite good and prepared as requested. Attentive service.

It was so loud. We were shouting at each other to hear. Toast and bacon was burned. Also we made a reservation but wouldn’t seat us right away.

Dinner at Henrietta’s was a nice experience but not remarkable. The service was friendly and the food was ok - nothing too special though. For example, the Brussels sprouts tasted like they’d just been boiled - rather bland. The spinach salad was the tastiest part of the meal - the rest ..... average.

One of my favorite places to eat in the Boston area! Food is excellent, service is professional and friendly.

Nothing special about this place. The menu has interesting options but the food does not deliver to created expectations. Not a place to recommend, although it could be an option if you are around the area. Service was courteous.

A bit over-priced-- the salmon was good but not great, a little overcooked and came without any sides, and the side of cauliflower was charred in places, lacking spice. Service was on the slow side. Maybe an off night--

The good news: the food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. The bad news: we got our first course before our cocktails, and had to send back two fish orders for being served cool (at best). Good place to take a family, something for everyone and prices are reasonable.

I have eaten here several times, and enjoyed the food each time. The Sunday brunch on Easter Sunday was outstanding. We came for our son's birthday and he ate so much I wondered where it all went. He filled his plate 4 times! He is tall and skinny, so I don't know how he did it. The quality of the food was outstanding and delicious. There was such a variety. I wished I had room in my stomach to taste it all, but I shall have to come back again to try the foods for which I had no room left. I have to say I really loved the food. The wait staff was efficient and attentive and very polite. We had a wonderful dining experience. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I went to Henrietta's Table for restaurant week and I greatly enjoyed the experience. Without the restaurant week discount, the menu is pricey; however, the food is delicious and worth the price if you can afford to splurge on the meal. The portions are moderate and are intended for multiple courses. I ate the octopus on their regular entree menu and if I had not had some cheese, bread, and bites of my boyfriend's starter and entree I would have been hungry.

The restaurant was also very accommodating to my gluten allergy. They have gluten free bread and our server was aware about what items on the menu were gluten free.

We did not eat here. 2 members of my family have severe nut allergies. Because of that we always call ahead to confirm the usage of nuts & from that conversation we make the decision to eat there. We were assured no nuts (esp. peanuts); however when we arrived there were open bowls of peanuts at the bar & tables leading to the hostess. While the hostess attempted to cover by saying they used shared equipment but cleaned well. This is not acceptable and we were blatantly lied to and misled.

Enjoyed our lunch during restaurant week. The atmosphere was cute and lively with a farmhouse kitchen vibe. We each had three very enjoyable courses with the leak and potato soup being outstanding. We'll be back.

Very happy with the service and was delighted with the Vegan options on the dinner menu. Its not always easy to find a restaurant that has the ambiance and reputation of a finer dining establishment that also offers a vegan choice in all areas of the menu. We will return!

Service quick, actually too quick, and different servers, two of whom were far too casual in putting things on the table. Mainly friendly, though.

Lunch is mainly sandwiches, which are awkward when hosting aprofessional guest. We both got the pot roast, which was very tasty.

We had a delectable lunch during Restaurant Week. It was a pleasure to be able to order from the menu, with so many interesting choices. The gluten free cod cakes were amazing--one of the few times something gluten-free tasted as if it were not! My friend totally enjoyed the Yankee pot roast and salad. The vegan cake and coconut ice cream and the pear sorbet were yummy. Simply wonderful. My friend already planned when she would return.

Food was fine but service was way to rushed. They brought our entrees before we had even finished our appetizers and kept trying to clear our entrees before we were even done. Then it took way too long to take our dessert orders. Not the relaxed atmosphere I was hoping for!

We went to Henrietta's Table for Sunday brunch at 1:30. The brunch was $55 per adult and really a mixed bag. There was a mismatched selection of breakfast and lunch options -- i.e. mushroom ravioli, white fish (that was pretty dry), prime rib, omelet, waffle, bacon, sausage. They also had a large selection of pate, cheese, smoked salmon type options, but none of them were particularly good.

The service was pretty terrible. The only thing the server was responsible for was clearing the plates so we could return to the buffet and that wasn't happening. We had dirty plates in front of us and not enough silverware. My son spilled his orange juice and the server made no effort to help clean it up or acknowledge it had happened. I was delivered a tea pot that was sitting in water so when I picked it up there was water all over the table. Nothing done to address that.

We took our children and the options were really not kid friendly -- even for a 5 and 8 year old. One bright spot was the pastry chef who very kindly put together a plate of chocolate covered strawberries for my son.

On the whole we were disappointed in the value and the service. We won't go back for Sunday brunch.

I've been for weekday business breakfast and found it really good.

Henrietta's had no indication that they would not be participating in Dine Out Boston on Sunday when I made this reservation. When I asked about this they were also rude and made us uncomfortable. The option they provided was two times what we were expecting to pay, and they did not try to make any sort of accommodations for us nor did they apologize. Nearly $60 for a Sunday brunch buffet? A tad ridiculous in my opinion. There was also a stressful and long line for the buffet.

Started with a nice selection of cheeses with some dried apricots, cherry jam, crisps and their wonderful bread with a nice glass of wine and a cold beer. The spinach salad was great - we split it - perfect size and then the entrees of duck and new england pot roast with mashed potatoes - delish! Nice service - no rush for us to finish - spaced out nicely. Only slight miss was the apple pie for dessert and that is only because my mom's apple pie was to die for and this came close but not quite there (really an unfair comparison). We had a great night out and will go back.

Great food. Poor service. True, the place was packed due to restaurant week but the waiters seemed confused about whose table we were. A simple question went unanswered. When our order was finally taken, the food came quickly. Then we had to flag down a waiter to ask for the dessert menu after waiting quite a while with empty entee plates. I definitely will go again but only if I have no after dinner plans.
