Yankee Pot Roast
mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, crispy shallots, gravy
I was curious about the pork chop, since I’ve never had a tender or flavorful pork chop in a restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised…the pork chop was excellent! As was everything else. We loved the bread pudding dessert as well.
Family event, eight at round table, perfect
Delicious food, with great variety. Friendly & fast service.
We had a great evening!
Ordered my favorite (Yankee Pot Roast) but asked to substitute spiced cauliflower for the mashed potatoes, They did that but omitted any carrots and meat serving was skimpy. Disappointed for first time. The pumpkin cheesecake was fantastic.
Always good, whenever in Cambridge we go! Keep up the good !
Henrietta’s Table brings to my mind so many memories. I was eager to share one of my favorite restaurants with a dear friend. Our dining experience was good overall.
However, I made a reservation the day before and requested a corner table since my friend and I hadn’t seen each other for 10 years, and we wanted a quiet table with a view. Instead, we were given a middle table near the front counter. Our waiter said all the corner tables have been occupied for several hours by patrons who arrived for breakfast and didn’t leave.
Second, my Whole Grain dish was tasty but was too small of a portion. Whereas My friend’s dish was the right proportionbut the dressing tasted of anchovies.
But I’m glad the restaurant is still open amidst so many changes in Harvard Square. And the service was very good.
The food was solid. The lunch menu was basic and serviceable. The ambiance was nice.
Favorite place for breakfast. Great food, service and atmosphere.
Good was very good, table spacing felt safe and comfortable, and it wasn’t too loud. Best was they let us sit for a long time, catching up with old friends. Very nice experience over all.
the menu was very limited for a Sunday brunch. The service was poor, although the Manager seems very helpful as was the barman. Sorry but in comparison to restaurants in Boston, Henrietta's is a no go in future for me.
PS Serving a slice of partially melted camembert that was literally insulting my intelligence and good nature it was so small as an entree and charging for a whole camembert pretty much sums up Henrietta's in a nutshell.
Great meal, ambiance definitely felt like you were in a hotel, but food and prices didn’t feel that way at all
Henrietta's Table is always good. The food is excellent and the drink variety is good. I wish the menu could change up a bit more frequently. Steak Frites would be good, or a veal stew.
The overall experience was very pleasant. My guests all enjoyed their food choices (they all ate fish). I chose the pot roast and must honestly say the meat was terribly overcooked.
The wait staff were cordial and I asked for a quiet place, which we had.
Their brunch is great but this evening dinner was a big disappointment. Food was mediocre, at best, price high and the service was poor from start to finish.
A hotel as good as Charles needs to do better. I am a local customer and, unfortunately, would not recommend it to anyone.
Service was so great! Out on the patio, heaters, blankets… tended to our every need!
Pot Roast was divine!
nice collegiate ambiance with excellent service and solid food at reasonable prices.
This place is way over priced. I paid $18 for a chicken sandwich.
Brit was a perfect waitperson
Service is a pleasure as soon as you enter to when you leave. Its a pleasant environment too, whether inside or out. The food selection is conservative with a limited selection. Cooking is solid which suits the New England selection. It almost feels like home-cooking. You're not going to be surprised, you're not going to be challenged. You will be satisfied if you are looking for well-cooked comfort food. That said it is a bit pricey for what it is but not for where it is.
Dinner at Henrietta's Table is always a pleasure. I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered the beef pot roast, both were yummy. Simple but deliciously prepared food in a beautiful setting. Try it!
First time visiting. Very friendly service!
We enjoyed a pleasant dinner. The food was good, the service great. The scrod dish, with a side dish of beets/yogurt, hit the spot. The ambience is delightful, intimate, warm. If only they would bring the bread and butter to the table when you sit down, like they do in many French restaurants, I would have given it the highest rating.BTW the top end Cab red from California was super. We would dine there the next time we come to a performance of the Harvard & Radcliffe Gilbert & Sullivan Players. (Now showing: The pirates of Penzance, with the best voices in town. Wow!)
So sad. Hadn’t been to Henrietta’s for some years and couldn’t believe it had not been updated or, at least, spruced up.
We had breakfast - it was just ok. Food had a strange taste. Maybe all the sanitizers on surfaces getting onto plates and cooking tools.
Great service and great food!
Love the sunny dining room and the food is wonderful. Thank you for a great meeting spot to meet up with a. Friend.
Wonderful date night dinner. Definitely will be going back.
Love the Yankee pot roast and the desserts are yummy.
My wife and I took relatives here for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was excellent.
Great atmosphere and great service.
Superb service and extraordinary breakfast selections.
Overall the experience was good. I would recommend Henrietta's to a friend.
C at best, pork chop was thin and overcooked, pot roast was like half a serving, smoked duck special was almost u edible, this has gone way down hill.
A birthday lunch. Food was great as was the dervixe
Delicious meal and great experience! I will definitely be back again.
Wonderful evening on the patio between the heaters. The crab and corn bisque was delicious!
. While the food was excellent, it was a very disappointing Sunday brunch menu with not enough breakfast options (particularly after the amazing Sunday brunch buffet). I would not recommend for brunch at this time.
