Great experience. My water glass
Blueberry pie was awesome! I'm def visiting there soon :)
Excellent food but service was a bit slow. Servers were kind and friendly. Atmosphere was lovely.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. My daughter had the duck and said it was one of the best ones she’s had. The desserts are fabulous, berry pie with ice cream which they make on the premises. Total thumbs up and hope to return soon.
Excellent as always. Went for Boston Dine Out. I went for the Yankee Pot Roast and it was amazing.
The staff is superb and we did not feel rushed at all.
Great food. Very very good service. However weekend brunch is very pricy . Omelets are to die for.
Wonderful as always. HT is one of my favorite places to eat. We often have our holiday meals there.
As always, superior food and service-----everything went smoothly without interruption as we renewed our friendship. Thank you.
Waiter was excellent.
This restaurant is always very noisy.
Food is expensive because sides are priced separately.
One person in the party ordered an $8 after-dinner drink. When it was not available, she ordered a more expensive drink that then turned out to be even more because the price on the check was different.
We went to lunch during restaurant week.It was not crowded at 1:45 PM. We were offered outside seating but it was really hot and humid that day...I ordered the appetizer crabcake to start. I actually prefer my crabcakes with more seasoning and fried in butter, so this tasted bland, served with a relish I didn't care for...But it was a generous amount of crab.My companion had a salad that she LOVED. We both had the cornbread battered monkfish sandwich, which was delicious. Desert was a well made seasonal fruit crumble which the waitress packed to go.We each had a drink...my companion's was a well crafted "greyhound" that she raved about. My martini was well made and generous. The bread basket had a delicious variety .
Our server was really excellent, helpful with the menu. She gave us space to eat our long meal, but was observant when we were ready for the next course. It is a pleasure to have such good service.
Always good food and service. Love their lunch menu.
We tried the Boston Dine in Menue. Everything was very good, we enjoyed the lunch very much.
A true gem with delicious locally sourced food. The setting is very warm and inviting. We have never been disappointed here.
Great as usual
Fantastic. Fresh. Locally sourced greens and vegetables. Artisan bread. Good location. Good for business meetings. Comfortable. Good for kids. Great breakfast. Top notch Sunday buffet. Never a bad meal.
Service was very good. Noise level was a bit too loud, especially with the tables so close together (at least for our seats, some tables are not as close). Food was delivered pretty quickly, which was good for a "work lunch" but then we were not rushed to leave, which was also nice. My companion liked her salad. My salad was okay, good dressing and it was not overdressed as many salads are, but many of the leaves looked brown. The leek and potato soup was very good. The portions were very generous.
Henrietta's Table is our "go-to" place for special occasions. The food is always fresh and inventive,
with plenty of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The desserts are just beautiful.
Food was excellent. We came during restaurant week and we could order off just about the entire menu.
Nice assessment of food at the brunch buffet, with plenty of options that weren't overly rich. Service was excellent, and tables aren't too close together.
Service was nothing to write home about. Had to ask for silverware twice. Had to ask for lemons twice. Service was pleasant but not very personable. Ordered the lobster fritters as an app which were delicious. For the main course, we had the halibut which was pretty good but not anything out of the ordinary. even though it came with a lovely sauce, I was annoyed that it didn't come with any sides. I wish the waiter would have said something so I would have ordered a side to go with my fish. Husband had the crab cakes with slaw. Slaw salad tasted a bit old. Not that it wasn't fresh...but just tasted like it sat in the fridge for a while. Crabcakes were a bit soggy on the outside. Didn't care for that dish and that was one of the specials that night. Not in a hurry to return.
I’ve been meaning to try this place for 5+ years and never got around to it. Needless to say I was very excited to finally try it and was unfortunately extremely let down. I ordered the lamb shank and it was honestly the saltiest dish I’ve ever had and I love salt! The service was nice but extremely slow for a fairly dead night. Not worth a quick $130 at all.
One of the finest meals I have ever had. Incredible staff. Highly recommended.
The biggest disappointment was the food and preparation thereof. Food placed in one plate on top of another plate!! Sides were small!! When you eat where do you place your sides!! Pot roast- overwhelmed with mash!! Pulled lamb - bland with little flavor
The restaurant was too noisy (big loud party) and outside (kids running around and shouting) for my mom, so they opened the private dining room for us! Fantastic service :)
Enjoyed a wonderful evening with family. Waitstaff was friendly. Beer was excellent. I recommend it!
Nothing really special about that particular restaurant. The service was below average, not totally rude but certainly not the attention you should expect from a restaurant of that caliber (prices, neighborhood, etc).
It could be that our server was just tired, uninterested. We left a 20% tip thinking that perhaps our server was just having a bad day. But even the food, the presentation, the whole experience was just very average.
The food, service, and ambiance were stellar. Sincere thanks to the chef who brought dishes to the table personally and the stellar wait staff who all joined the chef in singing "Happy Birthday" to my 94-year-old mother.
Dinner was ok: black bean soup, salmon nicely done, sauce tasty. Salad dressing was salty, should have had a touch of gourmet vinegar and / or lemon juice, herbs. Breads not inspired. Breakfast mediocre: Coffee very weak, no excuse. Breads not great. Fruit not ripe.
I was running late to the restaurant due to the second party having problem with delay on MBTA . They gladly accepted to move my reservation to a later time .which was good customer service . The menu was had good choices for vegetarian . I had the farro chili which was very tasty and flavorful but the empenada was too fried and not tasty and it did not go well with the chili !! The spicy squash was cooked too much and not spicy at all and not much flavor except the taste of oil it was sautéed with ? The salmon was ok and portion was small
Bread basket was disappointing and we were hoping for a hearty bread rolls instead of small slices of different breadswith not much flavor
May be Henrietta is better for brunch or lunch which we had before and thought to try it for dinner which was a little disappointing
Was a bit disappointed. The salad was fresh and tasty but our meal was...
Would have sent both entries back but were on a time crunch. Food was overcooked and not very impressive.
The service was great. I am a vegetarian and the other diner has gluten intolerance. The staff immediately brought gluten-free bread and were very helpful with the menu. We both found really great options and the meal was terrific.
Such a disappointing experience. Very rude young male server who looked completely bored and disengaged and was sullen when speaking. Had scrambled eggs and they were clearly reheated and tasted of vinegar.
Most enjoyable evening with well prepared food and ambiance
My cousin and I have lunch at HT about once a month. It never disappoints! The food is always excellent! Also, I always enjoy looking around the restaurant to see if any notable persons are dining as well, which can be fun...
Excellent. Perfect for families.
Very good to excellent food. Good selection of wines by the glass. Noise level can be high when there are large tables all talking at once. Food well presented and comes out quickly. What they need to work on is the spotty service. All servers were friendly and knowledgable but where they fall short is attention to detail. Water glasses remained unfilled throughout the meal. Several of the staff just seemed to wander around the restaurant aimlessly. Management needs to do a better job in directing the staff. These are minor complaints to what is an overall excellent restaurant.
Service was not what it used to be.. too many things missed, late, etc. Probably served by 5-6 different servers during the meal so there was no continuity and it's no surprise thing fell through the cracks. Food OK but again seems to have slipped a bit from past visits, especially given the prices.
Henrietta's Table remains one of my favorite restaurants for breakfast and brunch. I always am sure to bring out of town guests here as I think it highlights one of Boston's more interesting and genuine places to eat. The service is fantastic and the menu options superb.
This was a wonderful dining experience. The wait staff was gracious, the food was excellent and the outdoor seating was terrific. A superior dinner as evidenced by all four guests.
