This is our usual spot. We eat here twice a month. Always great.
Bring my team there for a cekebration. Everyone had a good time and thought the food was delicious.
It was a little loud to have a group and talk for dinner, but food was good for the price.
My first experience with Lamb meatloaf, my wife always criticize me for ordering meatloaf at a restaurant , but its fantastic. The environment is "a Neighborhood " spot with good energy and fantastic staff. Its on my list of regular spots.
This is my go-to place in Manhattan. Best Manhattan in Manhattan. Foods great.
Really cute place and the prices aren't over-the-top like many just-ordinary places in Manhattan. A little loud but not terrible and the staff was very pleasant. We will return on our next visit.
I have never had a bad meal. They also have the best Manhattan in Manhattan.
Hendriks has a classy but casual atmosphere. The service was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. The food is absolutely to die for. I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and it was Light and extremely flavorful. I highly recommend Hendriks! Can't wait to go back!
Food was spotty. Mussel appetizer was good, but main course Baby Back Ribs was overly sweet and overdone. And the worse thing was it was a Saturday evening and there was questionable activity going on in one of the restrooms and no one on Hendricks’ management was stopping it.
Food is always good. Service mixed but overall, average. Loud but so great to see a restaurant consistently busy. That’s the food talking!
I love this restaurant. The menu, service and ambiance are fantastic. I have been there 2 times and both experiences were exceptional. Must have the tiramisu! Absolutely the best.
Had dinner with my wife and son. Our server was friendly and attentive. Waiting time on our order wasn’t bad considering it was really crowded. The appetizers and dinner was delicious. So was dessert. This wasn’t our first time and it won’t be our last. I really recommend going for any occasion.
Nice place, warm, dark, rustic room, Very good food. The sautéed brook trout that I had was superb.Only drawback is that it is quite noisy.
I travel to New York about every six months and usually stop in at Hendriks. The food is always good. The Calamari perfect and the cocktails excellent. It feels like you are going to your “local” . The atmospheres warm and inviting.
Comfortable restaurant with a delicious American menu and reasonably price wine list. The service was prompt and friendly, the atmosphere convivial. Will definitely return.
Brunch was ok
But there’s a lot of great brunches in NYC
Hendriks is a delightful little spot. We went for Saturday brunch and it was quiet when we walked in at 11. The food was delicious, the service friendly, and we enjoyed a mimosa or two while our food was being prepared. It did start filling up pretty quickly shortly after 11, so it's clearly a desirable spot but it never got overwhelming. My wife got the French toast with mascarpone and fresh berries, I got the lobster benedict, and we shared a side of their double-cut bacon. All excellent, and we took some leftovers home. We live in Midtown so it was a quick ride on the F train then a short walk into Murray Hill. Highly recommended!
Best burger I’ve ever eaten! Lovely atmosphere and all round great!
i selected the shellfish with pasta and it was outstanding. Large quantity and nicely presented. I will be back on another occasion.
Very disappointed by brunch at this cute neighborhood restaurant.
My eggs weren't warm, English muffin was soggy. French fries were
probably the worst ever. I love French fries but didn't eat them as they
were wet and soft as well. The avocado salad had huge chunks of onion.
Hendriks was the perfect brunch experience. We were three couples and a baby catching up for the first time in months. We were given a table with plenty of room to keep the stroller next to us and the staff was extremely accommodating. We sat for hours and weren't bothered to hurry up and leave. The brunch menu was delicious, making it hard to make a choice. Would absolutely visit again and would highly recommend!
So good and affordable! Highly recommend as a neighborhood spot and cute inside!
Very good, reasonable restaurant.
Inventive menu. The pork belly risotto was outstanding. Great service. A bit loud but it was a Friday night so..... Definitely give a go!
Delicious and perfect if you want dinner salad or hamburger or fish or pasta.
Excellent meal and service
Excellent service. Very good food and ample portion. Can get crowded. Very accomodating. We reserved for 7 and 10 showed up. Not a problem for them
Food and service was excellent. Great place. Highly recommend.
Went to Hendricks for New Years Day Brunch. There were 8 in our party and were seated promptly. The waitress and bartender were personable and friendly. The food was excellent from omelette to various eggs benedicts. Only drawback - a little noisy.
Hendricks is a great, reliable restaurant with fresh food and decent portion sizes. My one knock is that our server and the hostess were unfriendly and did not seem to want to be there. Being that it was New Year's, we had hoped for a little more hospitality when being greeted and taken care of. Bus boy and food runner was very friendly and warmed up the mood slightly!
Nice place for family gathering. Neighborhood gem.
Place is cute but lacking service when it was barely crowded. Also food was lack luster and burger tasted like chop meat. No flavor and tasted like a poor quality of beef used. Would not go back again nor recommend
Anice evening with my sister and niece.
We thought everything was good except the french onion soup. That was not very good. Small portion to big of a piece of bread and not enough melty cheese.
Food and ambiance was good, the waitress was a bit slow and at times could see her on her phone in the corner when waiting for things like the check. Food was good though!
Very nice lunch spot. Food is fresh and very tasty.
The first visit exceeded expectations. Service was impressive and the food was delicious.
The staff was very friendly but we waited a very long time between appetizers and dinner and everything just took too long. Although we were in no hurry, over 2 1/2 hrs was a long time for dinner. And although the entrees were good, the accompanying vegetables were cold. I might give them another try but with so many other options they did nothing to make me want to come back. Sorry.
This is my favorite local restaurant. It is consistent and amazing. They even have sound panels to dull the loudness!
It's like a French bistro with an "American" menu of all sorts of foods.
