Wonderful service. Food was very good, the mixed drinks were only ok.

As usual, Hendricks was “spot on”. Went here for a date night with my husband as it one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently so good. The drinks even better. No night at Hendricks is complete without Brent bartending. Thanks as always Hendricks for a great night!

The food and the service were superb as usual. I wish the place had some sort of dress code. It is disheartening to see people in old baggy sweatpants in this fine establishment.

Birthday meal

Absolutely love Hendricks Tavern... but after tonight I will not be returning.

its my boyfriends birthday, I made a reservation 2 weeks ago for 8pm. We arrived at 7:40...we were not seated until 8:53pm, to which we were then told to be mindful of the 10:00pm closing and shutdown time.

I’m sorry but I’ve been to PLENTY of 8:00pm reservations and have been in and out by 9:30, which is fair! But for me to be sitting here at 9:01pm with still no drink order having been taken and I have to be out of here in 59 minutes!? This is appalling.
If they cannot handle reservations, do not take them. So when you make an 8pm reservation you should assume you’re going to be sitting at 9pm?!?!??? Theyre certainly NOT affected by covid at all because they were packed way past capacity, everyone crowding like sardines waiting to sit for a table.
Absolutely ZERO apology for their poor planning skills when taking reservations. They can take them but cant freaken hold them.
My food was awful, extremely salty. I couldnt even eat.
I refused to pay the bill and left.

I should have dined with the scotto brothers.

So to all who choose to dine at Hendricks Tavern, please be mindful that they cannot handle their reservations accordingly.

Given the pandemic, the spacing and pacing were great. I thought our server was the perfect blend of attentive and friendly but allowed us to enjoy our dinner. The food was well seasoned and cooked well and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Highly recommend.

Warm, cozy environment. Excellent service, delicious food. Beautiful environment for an intimate dinner or special gathering with friends.

We made a reservation three weeks earlier and were tucked in the back corner of the restaurant behind a table of 10. Every time the waiter came by he was grabbed by the larger table. For the money you are paying at this establishment you expect better service. It seemed like they just wanted us to leave ASAP. We were handed the bill without asking if there was anything else we wanted.

Food was excellent! I absolutely love the space and it’s decor.

Attended for a family Christmas dinner. The appetizers (French onion soup, wedge salad) were delicious. The entrees, (Colorado ribeye, porterhouse for 2, tomahawk, marinated skirt steak, and waygyu steak) were cooked to perfection exactly as ordered.

We had brunch at the bar. Our bartender was outstanding and the food delicious. Love the interior and loved how it was decorated for the holidays.

Most everything was excellent. We had ordered oysters first but the oysters came out with the salads so we felt a bit rushed. Also one of the members of our party stated they were gluten-free and specifically stated he could not have croutons on the salad but when it arrived there were croutons on it.That same salad had no anchovies which it was supposed to have. Everything was rectified but it was surprising that it happened in such a high quality restaurant.

Overall we had a very nice experience. The drinks were excellent and the porterhouse was amazing.

Everything was outstanding

The steak tartare, oysters and bronzino were incredible! The overall experience was wonderful. However, our server, Adrian, was not pleasant at all, did not check in periodically and was not attentive, which could have ruined our experience. He also took very long to bring our second round of drinks without apology. Thankfully, other servers and staff were helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs more.
