I was with a group of 5 for dinner. I made a reservation prior, just in case. The food was good not great. The service was also good not great. I think it was overpriced, but considering the area it may be completely accurate. It was good, but I would not come here again.
All food is a la carte. So $25 for a big chicken parmigiana, but no pasta (weird). Cornish hen ($26) with no sides. It is just a bit pricey for what you get. Seems like too little for too much. Again, this may be a normal NY thing. The atmosphere was good, nice. Very cozy. But, again, it is not somewhere i would go again while here. Not worth it
The food was fantastic. The service was great.
Delightful lunch experience. Varied menu. Fresh ingredients. Not rushed. Try the Beverly Salad and the Lobster Roll you will not be disappointed. The brownie sundae was also a winner.
Very good any time we have gone here , our friends were new and loved it , thanks
Loved all of it and can’t wait to go back. Right after I write this I am making a reservation for my family for Mother’s Day
Service can be better.
Excellent food and service! Great Sunday Brunch selection. Highly recommended.
It has been my third time here and the food service and atmosphere has always been fantastic service is beyond belief keep up the good work
Good food but overpriced. TERRIBLE waiter Peter. Gave us the specials TWICE because we made such little impact on him. But the reason I keep going back is because the decor is so beautiful and cozy.
Great experience. Great food and a fun night out with girlfriends
I always have a great time at Hendricks. Their food and service is fantastic. Can't wait to go back again.
Hendricks is the cream of the crop of very good Roslyn restaurants! Everything is first class in every way. George and Gilles have built another extraordinary venue. Thanks for the consistently excellent experience. Your loyal locals, John and Sameta
Went for my daughters birthday, wonderful as always!
My husband and I took our two children there on a Saturday night. We booked an early dinner at 5:30 as to not inconvenience others. The restaurant was empty and we were seated next to the wait station/ back of bar. We were most definitely discriminated for having children with us. Our waitress quickly came and asked for our order and did not even review specials. I love the ambiance and we go there frequently, but I was so disappointed how we were discriminated against for going to a restaurant on a Saturday night at 5:30 with two little girls. Very disappointed
Not only excellent steaks, but the fish is delicious and fresh as well. I had the Tuna Poke, which was served in a martini glass, the sweetest bay scallops simply grilled and tasted my husbands prime rib. The Brussels sprout leaves were outstanding, crisp and crunchy, and the hash browns which we ordered at the waiter's recommendation, were crispy on top, but dry on the inside. Overall a terrific meal.
The English muffin on the eggs Benny was doughy. The waffle didn’t come with much fruit, no butter or whip cream either. Definitely not worth the money. Their sister restaurant frites is better. I️ love Hendrick’s for dinner
Nice meal. Good service. Way too pricey for what we had. $125 each for a weeknight meal with friends and limited drinking is a lot.
Excellent service. Food was fabulous- really a very good experience in every respect.! Will be back again for sure and anxious to recommend Hendrik’s to others,
Meet the parents
Great food and service. A little noisy as it got later in the evening but it was Saturday night so that is to be expected. We would definitely return.
Two of us had brunch at Hendrick's Tavern yesterday. It was a disappointment.
The food was not the best. My lobster roll was crumbly and dry. My friend's omelet
was so runny it was difficult to eat. The desserts were good. Service was fast and efficient, not friendly. It was expensive as the bill was $97. The valet parking was much appreciated.
The restaurant is wonderful! The only improvement I would make is to have a waiter service for cocktails in the cozy room with the fireplace. The restaurant is too classy and elegant to require one to have to get their drink from the crowded bar and then walk over to the seating area.
The other annoying thing is that the hostess tried to seat my girlfriend and me at a "crumby" table - right in the middle of a busy traffic pattern and the waiter's station. There were plenty of nicer tables available. Both of us have been to the restaurant several times each year over the past three-plus years whether together, with our spouses and family or other friends. We are both stylish, successful, business women - but, we were not at the restaurant for the bar scene.... We both felt that the hostess was trying to treat us like second-class citizens. It was disappointing.
Had a very nice time. Steak was a little dry but everything else was so good!
I have been there before and was so disappointed this time! They did not honor our reservation and on top of that they gave away the table they promised us to someone else! When they finally sat us 45 minutes late, we had to search for our waiter who was snooty and said he would be with us when he finished serving his table....We couldn't even get a glass of water....It was obviously the maitre d's fault as the hostess was very apologetic. I dine out often and granted problems arise but the Maitre d' never came over to apologize nor offered us a round of drinks on the house! He simply did not care. Guess he didn't value us as customers! Absolutely APPALLED with the service!
Everything is a la carte. I had one of the specials - broiled small seasonal scallops. Nothing else on the plate - $48!
Food is terrific - but pricey.
Wine list could be improved.
Went out for our anniversary. Cannot say how pleased we were with the service and food. They offer the best sides hands down. I am still salivating over their hash browns and clams. Will most definitely recommend and go back to try the rest of their menu. Also, we had never been there before and were going on the opinion of someone who posted a recommendation on a Facebook page.
Hendricks's is very comfortable and enjoyable restaurant. I t has a good vibe and a nice mix of people-The food is well prepared and very good.
Food was delicious. Skirt steak melted in my mouth. Ambiance very cozy and nice. Place was an old catering hall. Decorated nicely keeping that old touch.
The setting is one of the nicest of the Poll group. Great collection of different eating areas, very good variety of food, with the service you'd expect.
Amazing!! Food was great! Love the Thursday night entertainment. It always keeps me coming back. The wait staff in the entertainment section is not as good as the dining area.
Because I made my reservation on Open table, I think we did not get seated in a premium area. View of kitchen and wait station. Others in the party were happy so I did not ask for another table. Our guests were Manhattan foodies and oenophiles and they loved this place and would like to come back. Service was knowledgeable and prompt. This was my third visit and I enjoy dining there very much.
Very nice place. A little pricey.
Great food and even better service.
Worth every penny or more appropriately every dollar.
Broken cappuccino machine on Valentines Day? Unusually bad ambience on a not surprisingly busy evening.
Very good!! Always enjoy ourselves there. Enjoyed a little time at the bar before a fabulous meal. We always recommend it to friends. Excellent !
