They took our Open Table reservation. however they DO NOT award open table points for dining there.
We saw the notice in SMALL letters!!
The food was good to very good. The service was very good. It was a slow night, which may have contributed; yet everyone there, including the chef, wished our guest of honor a happy birthday. They also made a great plate of three desserts with a ton of berries and a candle. We didn't get to enjoy the view much due to rain, but it is a very pretty location.
Great service and great food
Mother’s Day brunch. Brunch was changed with no hot plates on Buffett. Crab cakes were the best and only reason for going and not offered. Was disappointed and not sure I will come return for Mother’s Day.
Awesome Mother’s Day brunch! Best in town!!!
Overall an amazing restaurant experience. It didn't start well with waiting to be seated (seemed very chaotic) but once I was seated everything was excellent. From the friendly and attentive waitstaff to the tasty food I would highly recommend. I sat on the screened in porch area so it was very quiet. There was a wedding on the grounds and so was even treated to a fireworks display that I could from my table!
We have dined here before and our last visit was outstanding. This visit was very good
overall with minor problem as my wife's grouper was slightly overdone and my paella could
have had more seafood in it. Our appertizers of large shrimp and oysters on the half shell were
excellent. Waiter was very attentful. A large, noisy party of four seated next to us marred the
Great food and atmosphere
We were visiting from out of town. Wait staff was friendly; impeccable service. Good solid food creatively presented
Took a friend to dinner for her Birthday. We both enjoyed the bar area as well as the dinners. They even brought a treat with a candle.
Good food with EXCELLENT service. If your not staying at the resort, getting on the property and working with them on parking prices can be a hassle. Still worth it.
Have stopped by this restaurant when we are in the Orlando area. Love the food and the setting. We had dinner here twice this week. Our waiters were fabulous. So friendly, yet professional. I especially recommend the fish and the desserts. Loved the grouper with a potato coating. The oysters were outstanding. Ending with a delicious key lime pie was incredible.
Great food with incredible service. Highly recommend you visit this Orlando gem!
Beautiful location and great staff and service. We
Superb in every way! Our server, David, was fabulous!
In a word: superb. Food quality wonderful, presentation gorgeous, service excellent.
This was a horrible experience. The waitress was awful. She got my order wrong so i had to wait a long time between appetizer and entree. When it came it was on accompaniments which would make cafeteria food look appealing. When I asked what it was, she said rice grits. I said that I thought it was unusual that the menu did not describe the sides. She laughed and said “Haha I guess I forgot to tell you.” The grouper was tasteless and through the evening I would have to catch other waiters to try and get service. Eventually, after nothing would happen, she would at last return to fulfill the request.
I have owned several restaurants and have never left a negative review. But this was so bad, I finally got up and went to the maitre’d to pay my bill after waiting 40 minutes. Along the way, I passed the manager who asked “How was the meal?” I said “It sucked!” He said “Perfect!!” No lie. That says it all.
Grouper was over cooked and dry
There were 5 in our party, and everyone loved the food except me. That makes it difficult to criticize. The others all ordered various fish dishes. I ordered the duck, and it was the worst duck I've ever had... it was dry and tough... even with a steak knife.
The restaurant was very crowded and it took what seemed like forever for the food to come.
The crab cakes were divine! Our service was fabulous...very cheerful grandmother. Our daughter immensely enjoyed the Earl Grey Tea with Rock Candy sticks for sugar. Her burrata mozzarella and tomato salad was wonderful as well. The calamari strips were the best calamari I have ever had at at a restaurant...so much better than those circular fried dried up calamari apps that exist on many menus. The ambiance is a little older Floridian for me. I think the place could use some more contemporary furniture and decor, but the food and service was outstanding!
A little on the too expensive side! But great service and food! We took our children, so ended up being too expensive
Great food and service!
We were truly impressed with this gem of a location and service. Thank you
Food was amazing and the ambiance was great! We really enjoyed it and would return!
Absolutely phenomenal. Complimentary bread is killer.
This is a hidden gem.
The waiter was not very attentive to service. Average plate $40 which seemed expensive compared to other restaurants I’ve been too. Not visiting again.
Great food and atmosphere. We informed staff that we celebrating a birthday but it was overlooked. Other than that everything was great.
We were seated next to a table of 8 or 10 people who were extremely loud. It was terrible to say the least. The waiters/waitresses had to notice when they seated us that it would be potentially uncomfortable for us. They should have suggested we sit somewhere else because they definitely had to notice the rude loud group Seated right next to us. We were there Friday night at 7:15. Very disappointed.

Outstanding food and service. Perfectly simple yet elegant meals. Even my picky 12 year old found a meal he enjoyed (this is next to miraculous). This is delightful for my husband and me, who loved the food and would like to visit again.
Everything was very good. Service food etc. Just prepared to pay. Saw a number of people probably attending a convention and was on expense accounts.
Always good food and server David was excellent!
The experience from the complimentary valet, to the hostess, to our waitress and busboy was excellent!
Only downside was the cost of the cigars that I purchased in the way out.
Normally I love this place but I guess they were having g an off night. It took way too long to get our dinners and then they were not hot, just warm at best. Plus the food just was not up to par. Plus I told them it was my birthday and nothing happened. Oh well... I will give it another try.
If you are looking for a nice restaurant with great food near Disney, this is the place!
The restaurant is in a nice setting however they sat us by the kitchen. The waiter was nice however distracted and forgot numerous requests. The Cigar bar area was the best (you can’t smoke inside the lounge so great for non smokers like us)
We had a very enjoyable meal at Hemingway's while staying at the Hyatt Grand Cypress. Seating was very private, service was excellent and the food was very good. I would eat here again.
Great meal and outstanding service. Would definitely return. Loved the crab cakes!
The food was good, but it came an hour and a half later, our 6 years old was a little upset that a hamburger could take that long. Terrible service. There are many options in Orlando, and the manager should pay more attention.
We found this restaurant online and decided to try it after the great reviews. We’re from out of town and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The food was exceptional and the service was very thorough. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a fine dining experience. From the seafood plateau, the starters, the entrees, the dessert, and even the espresso, it could not have been better. We can’t wait to go back and eat here again!
