   Food here is consistently good but not outstanding. An extra star could be given for consistency. The absolute best calamari you will ever have. Excellent French Onion soup and a good burger. Drinks are just ok but desserts choices are disappointing. Skip the affogato. Service similar to an Applebee's - it is a Tavern after all. We go here several times a year.

   Heirloom is a cozy little tucked-away place you get the sense only the locals know about. It's a small, spirited restaurant with a great bar as you walk in and a fairly small but inviting dining room. Our server had an amazing sense of humor and was efficient, but do not expect especially quick service. The food is amazing. There is a wide variety of food options on the menu (mostly things you would imagine getting if at a tavern--pastas, pork and veal chops, steaks, several fish options) and none of them disappoint. I have been twice and both times my meals were delicious. Can't wait to go back. Probably best for a party of two or four, but not big groups.

   As always a great meal at Heirloom. Special Burrata salad was excellent. And one can not go wrong with Paella on Thursdays!

    Paella thursdays! Tried the branzino tonight and it was delicious, as were my 2 sides. Hubby opted for ahi tuna burger tonight and enjoyed it as well. Although we didn’t get the paella tonight, stuck with seafood theme and very happy! Bar was crowded tonight, so noise level was a bit elevated.
