We have eaten here several times but never for brunch. Bloody Mary’s were really good and two people in my group raved another French toast. I had the quiche and wish I had ordered something else. It was pretty dry and seemed like it was refrozen and heated up. Sat outside on the patio. Great view!

We went for a late lunch to avoid crowds. Plenty of parking. We had a table with a great view of the water. The staff was friendly and helpful. My friend had the coconut fried shrimp, plump, plentiful and delicious. I had a shrimp salad with a wedge of iceberg. Fresh, very tasty, a bit light on the shrimp for the price, but still good. The noise level was low and we were not rushed, so it was an airy and comfortable place to talk and enjoy our meals.

LOVED this restaurant! We were seated by the water so we got to watch the sunset as we ate. The food was delicious, probably the best steak I’ve ever had! I told my husband that this is my new favorite restaurant and that we will have to come back soon!

We had brunch and it was all delicious. Presentation of food was great. Musicians were an added flair to the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. Just a little noisy if you're looking for a quiet dinner but not too loud. We could still have a conversation with everyone at the table without raising our voices. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

This restaurant used to be my favorite about 15 years ago. They forgot how to make a Hurricane which is a deal breaker for me. I gave them another chance last evening it it’ll be another 15 years before I try it again. This place used to be incredible but they definitely suck now!!!!

The location and views are amazing. The service and food where certainly not up to paar. We recieved our food before receivng the drinks, that we ordered at the same time. The server did not checked if we liked the food. We had to return some food due to poor quality. The tuna tartar was made with frozen tuna and it had a refrigerator smell. "not fresh" the calamari sauce was blend and boring. The lobster roll was just fine. After returning the tuna, we where not asked for any substitute. Very disappointing experience.

We have been there a number of times and have never been disappointed, this time was no exception. The Teriyaki Mahi was delicious, as was the New Orleans Bayou Shrimp. The German Chocolate cake (a special offering, not on the menu)was huge and fantastic. Best of all, the service was excellent, the entire staff was attentive to a fault! A great experience all around!

Our party of five enjoyed the delicious food, drinks and seating where we could look over the lake and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The booth seating area was perfect for visiting-no background music to contend with.

I'm not revealing state secrets when I say Hefner Grill is a great place to have dinner. However I would be doing a disservice if I didn't tell you about their key lime pie. I've had my fair share of key lime pie over my lifetime. Hefner Grill's key lime pie ranks up against the very best. You should try it. If you're looking for desert just walk in and get some to go...it's that good.

Server was very personable and kept checking on our food and drinks. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the crab dip for an appetizer! Had the grouper and was cooked perfectly. Husband had the pork chop and did not disappoint. Our third time back and will definitely be a fourth!

Hefner Grill is a great place to have good food and good service. I especially love eating there with friends in one of the booths by the windows, to see a great view of the sunset and of the lake.

Dining at Hefner Grill is like watching a baseball double play performed by Tinker to Evers to Chance, the shortstop, second baseman and first baseman of the Chicago Cubs of the early 1900s-----perfect in every detail!

Dinner at 6 on a Friday with friends/colleagues. Apps were good (crab dip was ok and crab cakes were delicious) and food was great (catfish platter). The Squash Rockefeller is so good here that both of my colleagues ordered it after tasting mine (they should have listened from the beginning!). One star off because we asked for Paul’s Pasta with Alfredo and it came with spicy red sauce instead. It was still delicious and they gave us a dessert to make up for it. The toffee cake is absolutely one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten! Great view of the lake as well.

We made a reservation and requested lake view and were given a beautiful spot. All staff were extremally nice and attentive. We ordered the salmon, pecan cod, and oysters and though they were good... they were luke warm when served and it was not good enough to justify the price. I feel like this place tries to "float" on its water front view and does not put enough into its dishes.
