I typically come here with colleagues from work since it's close by. The service is great, it's easy to make a reservation, and they get you in and out quickly, so that you can get back to work.
Most importantly, the food is excellent.

very basic food/cooking. didn't seem prepared fresh. staff (owner i think) was super unfriendly and unhelpful. all went very quick - in and out in under 1 hour - coffee came with bill. just not worth it

Love this place. We eat there once a week. The food is always great. The location is great. Jeffry knows our names and what we drink.

I was told that this restaurant had excellent vegetarian options. They were right! The food is incredibly well prepared and not heavy. It is obviously fresh fare. As a vegetarian, I'm always looking for new places to eat, and I found a new favorite. There are other meat options available as well, so I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great location too.

We loved the menu--its variety, its creativity, and its price points. Very relaxing, inviting to conversation, and gracious service. We'd definitely go back again (and again)!

We came on a friend's recommendation, and were delighted by the food and the ambience. we felt very welcome, and will definitely come again. it is the casual small restaurant without the noise and phoniness of many of the bigger, showier places in L.A. no unneeded flash, just the kind of place you want to come to again and again to have good wine and food and conversation.

Hedleys was a real surprise. First time there. As s vegetarian, I went for the farm-to-table breakfast. It was excellent! I had the avocado toast. Instead of a typical fried egg, they had scrambled eggs covered with yummy crunchy sprouts. Absolutely delicious. And the staff was attentive , always filling up my coffee cup. I highly recommend this place, tucked in between shops on Robertson - Hedleys is a rare find.

Excellent lunch spot with indoor/outdoor seating. Salads were fresh, healthy and delicious. Host was sullen. Great if you work in the hood, otherwise only nearby parking was impossible and cost $14.

Hedley's is a great place for a casual lunch or dinner. The food is good, nothing too fussy. The owner clearly cares about the quality of food, and is always there. It is a small establishment so do make a reservation.

We've been coming to Hedley's for years. It's our go-to lets have a relaxing, delicious, healthy meal sort of place. And the Malva pudding... Best dessert ever. Only complaint? The wine has gotten VERY pricey -- small portions, big price.

The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My only complaint is that our waiter had a bad attitude upon our arrival, not a welcoming factor, and we had to "work him" to lossen up with us.... Felt like he didnt want to be there or to be bothered.... He warmed up eventually, however I think that this is just who he is... a shame as a diner wants to feel welcomed and taken care of....

Made a reservation on New Year's Eve for a party of three at 9:00. We show up on time and we're told that they don't have a table for us but they would seat us at the bar. When the manager came to speak to us he explained that the party before us came late. Apparently that meant that our reservation wouldn't be able to be honored since the late party was still having their dinner when we arrived. When I protested this treatment, the manager waived us away and walked off. This was dinner on New Year's Eve! The unprofessional treatment we received at Hedley's was appalling and I will never go back.

An oasis of calm on an otherwise crazy street! Hedley's never disappoints and is a perfect neighborhood restaurant when you want to have a great meal and actually hear the person that your dining with! Recently renovated and even more cozy than before. Just wish they had their full liquor license, but that would probably take some of the charm away.

Poor service. Walked in and sat myself. Two servers were busy and owner too busy sitting at another table talking to guests to help his employees. No one bothered to take our order for ten minutes,
We had been in past to this restaurant and won't return. Unfriendly and lacks warmth. Ordered a dish that website menu stated came with a side of potatoes but when asked for this was told it doesn't. There are alternative and better choices in vicinity..

Good food poor service. Waiter was mostly absent but the bus boy was helpful. The restaurant was advised there was a birthday in our party and they said they'd take care of it. Dinner was about $600 for 6 people and their idea of taking care of it was 5 little fish on a plate that look like gummy bears with a candle stuck in one that kept falling over. It's not their "policy" to do more according to the host so if that's true maybe they should tell you that when they say they'll take care of a birthday
