Matt was fantastic! He has excellent knowledge of the menu and offered wonderful pairing suggestions with regard to the courses and complimentary wines. We really enjoyed our evening and will return. Thank you for the hospitality!

Scallop appetizer was mouthwatering. The spaghetti squash pad Thai is one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. In fact we ordered it to go the very next night! We had the most delicious bottle of wine...Emeritus/Russian Valley Pinot Noir. Creme Brûlée was standard but good. Our waiter was so intuitive and helpful. I am so glad I listened to his suggestions! It was a perfect evening. Thank you Hearthstone for a wonderful date night!

The cheese platter was delivered without the honey and when we realized it our waiter was nowhere to be seen and the cheese platter was half eaten. When we did tell him he brought the honey with barely a sorry and didn't try to make up for it with any compensation. As we ate what remained of the cheese platter we realized this was an important addition to the platter and really went with the cheese. We had two orders of the skirt steak and it was so tough in some parts it couldn't be eaten. Also, they put the brussels sprout side dish on the mashed potatoes which wasn't particularly appealing to someone who doesn't want those two side dishes combined. For the price of $41 dollars it should be a better quality of meat and the side dish combination should be explained.

We also had an order of the lamb and it was very tender and for the price it should be. I thought the size of the chops should have been bigger and there was inconsistency to this because I saw the people at the other table have much larger lamb chops.

The building and inside dining rooms were very pretty.

With our 8:45 reservation (and we didn't arrive early due to Covid precautions), there were a bunch of people waiting to be seated in the small waiting area so we were seated closer to 9 p.m. We were seated on the second floor in the back, in a corner. Not sure they should have a table there.

My husband and I both ordered the Blackberry Elk. The blackberry demi-glace, goat cheese risotto, and broccolini were excellent accompaniments to the medium rare elk which was really tasty. This main dish was the best part of the meal.

We ordered desserts. I got The Elvis - a desconstructed dessert of banana cake, peanut butter mousse, strawberry preserve, caramelized bananas, smoked bacon. Yes, all the parts sound delicious but this dessert just didn't come together. My husband got the four layer carrot cake with bourbon-vanilla milkshake. The carrot cake was average and the bourbon was lost in the milkshake. So two disappointing desserts.

The server did his job and delivered the food and didn't really add much else to the evening. From what I had read about the Hearthstone, I expected a better experience. Didn't get it and won't return to the restaurant. I'd try somewhere else if I was back in Breckenridge.

Came for cocktails and some appetizers. Everything was very tasty and the service was excellent.

The food was excellent as was the service, We each had one of the specials for the day and both were delicious. The ambiance was very nice, which made it easy to hold a quiet conversation with each other while enjoying the meal.

It was okay. The Wagu beef was tough. They were out of an appetizer. The staff that greets you is pretty cold. The waitress was very nice. Overall, not that impressed. Would not go back.

Did a quick search for best/romantic restaurants in Breck for a couples vacation, and this came up first. To say we were blown away is an understatement. The service was absolutely fantastic, and everyone’s dish was 5 star quality. Absolutely will look to visit again in the future!

Exceptional dining experience

We love it here. We come every year. Service is always amazing and the Wagyu beef appetizer was out of this world.

Loved this place. Of the three places we visited while staying in the Breckenridge area, this was the BEST! It is a charming old house just one block off the main drive. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The beef fillet was perfectly cooked with excellent flavor, and the lamb chops were large, meaty, and wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. It was a little more expensive than the other places we ate, but we will definitely be back.

Dinner was amazing! The scallops were so good! Perfectly cooked and the sauce omg. Pork belly gnocchi great, so much flavor & for dinner Colorado lamb chops cooked to perfection & Elk entree with the farro risotto was delish. Ken our server was great- had some great recommendations like the bottle of rose we had with our dinner! That Rosé paired perfectly with our entrees!

Amazing place! The venison and elk are very special dishes. All the apps are also amazing! The wine is very overpriced for what you are getting so stick to the cocktails! We had a expresso martini and Paloma! Both amazing

Very good food and service at Hearthstone. The alcohol menu is extensive but pricey even for an upper scale restaurant.

Always the best service and food! Our waiter Benny was excellent at providing wine recommendations with the most delicious lamb and elk! We also started with the scallops - wow! Everything was perfect!

Fantastic meal and service in a quaint Victorian home; our table for 4 was located in a bay window at the front which was SO lovely. We chose this restaurant due to their additional COVID precautions which made for a very comfortable dining experience. Do not hesitate to try their filet or elk. Delish!

Excellent restaurant with great ambiance, food and service!

Quaint restaurant with food options that you can't find anywhere else (elk, lamb, duck, etc.). Food was very good and drinks were as well. Definitely pricey but worth it to get quality food.

Was a great experience with a view! Hostess sat us at the bay window and server was perfect. Enjoyed my bourbon flight with my great meal.
