Service was horrible, food over price, very limited menu.
They changed their menu and unfortunately not for the better. They got rid of sweet potato fries..Shrimp Pasta...my two favorite things! Their Abe Froman pizza has changed and not for the better either. The truffle pasta was fine, but not what I was wanting.
Terra Rosss is below average, TBones was horrible last time we ate there..Yard House and Lucille’s seem to be the only ones consistent.
Sad that my favorite items are gone.
First I need to say I love Heartstone Kitchen & Cellar❤️
Today I need to write this review, hoping there will be improvement. We had dinner with both of use having their Prime Rib at $29.00ea and we shared a side dish Potato Gratin-favored with Jalapeño and cheddar. $7.00, and drinks too! (The Prime rib being $29.00 no sides just Prime Rib it should be excellent). Having this dish several times in the pass is our reason for us repeatedly returning to the Hearthstone. Last night I need to say the prime rib was on the smaller side with a lot of bristle/fat. Both my husband and I were taking bites of the Prime Rib and had to remove the meat from our mouths, because it was un-chewable. The Potato Gratin was not flavored with jalapeno that I could taste. I even added horse radish to spice it up. We will return because we like the servers, atmosphere and the food. Next time I hope I can give a five star review.
Oysters were delicious as well as the prime rib, but the other items we ordered were mediocre and small portions.
We had a group of 10 ladies for brunch. They seated us promptly with our reservation. Waiter was very attentive. He even gave all of separate checks at the end and we didn’t even ask since most places don’t do this anymore. Bloody Mary’s are delicious!!! I personally had the Lobster Eggs Benedict. It was ok. Disappointed on the amount of lobster. It was just a couple of cubed pieces. Not even enough to taste. Eggs were a little overcooked for my liking but it was good dish. Sticky Bun we shared for the table and that was amazing. Energy is great in there but it is loud. Would love to try for dinner. Will definitely go back. A lot of choices that I would love to try.
My husband and I went for Sunday brunch, and it was amazing. Service was awesome. We will definitely be dining there again soon.
Ordered prime rib, rare and thinly sliced. Order arrived medium rare and thick cut. Sent it back. The next plate arrived thick cut again and of questionable doneness. Was told by server that the kitchen could not cut the meat thinly. Wanting to have my meal on the same day ordered I surrendered. But then I found the meat to be tough and way overdone. Compared what was served to me with my wife’s prime rib. Hers was edible and tender. Mine not. Sent this plate back and asked for a calamari appetizer from my apologetic waiter.
The calamari was as tender and tasty as the prime rib should have been.
Our waiter was very good and attentive. The kitchen is apparently indifferent to diners and one could surmise vindictive when there knife work is not appreciated.
Room was loud and large tv’s distracting.
$97 for one prime rib, one salad, two appetizers, one coffee and two glasses of house wine.
Won’t be back.
As usual, service was exceptional!! Nathan provided the unbelievable service! Thank u Nathan!!
We thought that the pasta with a few small shrimp entree that we had was over priced at $24.00.
I took my granddaughter for the Halloween brunch. For $15 the child gets to pick from a special menu ... which had egg and toast, waffle, donuts, or chicken nuggets. Drink not included. She got a piece of toast with a circle cut out and one scrambled egg in it plus a handful of breakfast potatoes that were cold. They also got a tiny pumpkin with a few stickers to put on it and a tiny bag to put cheap candy in. They gave her a Halloween placemat with stuff to color. We had to later ask for crayons. I ordered a hamburger and they charged me $4 for a small glass of Pepsi which was empty during my entire meal. It took forever to get menus and then to order. Service was horrible. My granddaughter said we should have gone to the brunch at the Red Rock Buffet instead.
Food was excellent and tasty. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Patio nice and not noisey, whereas the indoor seating was very loud
Everything was great except the noise level was deafening!!!
Our fave spot to bring guests especially on Mondays when it’s 50% off wine. Great food and feel
First time here! Great atmosphere very pretty designed restaurant! Service lacking from check in through the whole meal! Had a reservation for brunch at 10:15 restaurant still empty but Hostess acted like we would have to wait for a seat and definitely couldn’t give us outside even though only one table occupied! Very unwelcoming! Waitress ok but missing in action for long stretches! Will give it another try but definitely needs better management to train staff!
This is one of our favorites & we eat there at least 1 time every time we stay at Red Rock.
Hi Stephanie! Thank you for your continued patronage. We hope to see you again soon. - Laura S. AGM Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar
Fun place for brunch.... especially outside on a beautiful day! Food & service were great & so was the atmosphere.
We are so happy you enjoyed the patio before the weather turns! Please come back and visit us soon!
We went for snacks before a show! Great service!
Thank you Mark! We appreciate you coming in and hope it was a great show!
Great ambience of this place!!!
Thank you! We appreciate the positive review!
Great spot for a patio brunch. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient.
I ordered the chicken and it was very bland. No flavor at all which was really disappointing at the expensive price. The mashed potatoes where good. The rest of my party said the food was ok. My view was looking at the cook's just watching TV. You'd think the TV's would face the guest not the cooks. The customer service was great but at the end they forgot my leftovers. They took my food to box it up and when I got home it was not in the bag. I know my chicken had no flavor but I still paid for it. I could have added flavor at home. Oh well, won't dine at this restaurant again.
The restaurant is beautiful and has a great variety of food options. However, we ordered an appetizer and a drink and didn’t see the waiter again for almost an hour. By the time he came back it was so late that we just asked for the check and left.
My spouse and I shared a breakfast burrito and a side of toast for brunch. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere welcoming and clean. The server was certain to let us know (as we are seasonal residents) of the weekly specials and deals offered. All in all a very nice meal and visit. We will certainly be back.
Our waiter was the best ever. Food and ambiance great. We will be back
This restaurant needs some additional menu items and is very noisy. The portion size for the price you pay is off. Although the food was tasty, it took quite a while to receive it and the portions were small. Probably will not go back again.
No. I made a reservation for your lobster pot for two for 7pm.
I arrived on time. I was told they ran out of lobster!! No apology, no rain check, just "too bad".
I made the mistake of ordering a gin and tonic. Told the waiter well gin.
12.50 for a drink?
How tacky can a restaurant be?
No promised food and overpriced drinks.
Promise I'll let my friends know.
The accommodations were wonderful, they ran out of Lobster on Lobster day, but were able to find just enough for us. Thank you to the manager and the wonderful waiter, I will definitely will be coming back and referring my family and friends
Great food. Little spendy for the quality but recommend.
Great dining experience. I put the noise level as high as I did because we sat outside and the restaurant had a lounge act that same night. That being said, at no time would I ever consider the noise to be too loud.
This place is known to have the most amazing pizzas!!!! Today, per our request, they made us a special pizza "Double truffle mushrooms and grilled octopus"!! Delisious 😍 I am sure they can make pizza from almost anything you have in mind!!!!
First time eating here & absolutely loved it. Nataly & Nathan provided EXCEPTIONAL service. I could see why they were fantastic. The manager Russell was just as good. Will come back especially even Nataly Nathan & Russell are there because I know the service will be exceptional! Also the good was awesome!!
Food was good. Just very loud in the restaurant
We’ve dined here several times and we love bringing our friends here to sample their delicious dishes. This restaurant never let us down. We would have come here every weekend to unwind if it were closer to where we live.
The staff is very pleasant and accommodating.
Great food + great service = awesome dining experience
We’ll be back!
Always good food
Our server (Rigo) was very attentive and great! All of the food was delicious.
This restaurant has great service and excellent food! Something for everyone. The only thing that could to a little better? The music is a bit too loud if you are trying to have a conversation with family or friends, which we usually are.
Good Evening Patrick -- Thank you so much for dining in with us on 9/4. We apologize if the music was a little loud and we will be sure to monitor that more closely in the future and we appreciate the suggestion. We hope to see you, your family and friends again very soon. Best, Laura S. AGM Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar
We shared 2 items on the menu. The short rib dinner was spectacular. The combination of truffle ricotta and savory smoky meat was amazing. The fried chicken was an enormous serving of pure crunch & comfort
We sat outside even though it was very hot it was good with the misters and fans. We did not sit under the misters so as not to get sprayed with a ton Of water. Towards the end of our meals apparently some people complained about getting too wet from the misters and they turned them off. Then it started getting really hot and uncomfortable but luckily we were toward the end of our meal. The few people outside went inside when the misters went off but they still didn’t turn them on. However, we had an outstanding waiter, very friendly and fun to deal with. Wish I could remember his name. Everyone enjoyed their meal, a little on the pricey side but they had a nice special on some of their wines and for $35 the Chianti was very good.
Al was charming, well timed with the dinner selections, knowledgeable on the menu, and advised us of the special nights each week. She was a delight! We’ll be back!
Love the vegan menu options! Great food for any taste.
