Excellent food and service
We originally were going to be seated outside but on the morning of our reservation the restaurant called to ask if we’d like a table inside and we were pleased to have it
Amazing ethically farmed food with awesome flavors
My tummy was very happy
Nice restaurant, had too wait alittle long for the appetizers to come out , but they made up for it by sending out their soup , it was delicious. all their dishes were great but a little small .
Overall, a great experience, not sure why they declined my tip on the bill, the staff was great
Consistently excellent food. Great service and wine list. Can't go wrong!
Neighborhood restaurant with great home style feel
Nice wines (to a Californian)
What a great way to spend three hours over Thanksgiving dinner. Our server was fantastic, the pacing was perfect and the food was excellent especially accompanied by the wine pairings.
The Thanksgiving meal was unfortunately very overpriced for what was served. Parts of the meal were fine but not wonderful, parts were quite poor. We were seated outdoors in uncomfortable seating and, although a heater was promised when we booked the meal, it was, at first, not provided then, after we asked repeatedly, a weak heater was set up which one server asked “is that the scary one?” The heater did not provide much heat and we ate Thanksgiving in our winter coats. The servers and others working were very nice but the meal for 2 was $300 and was in no way worth it. We were very disappointed.
Thanksgiving dinner was delicious!
Thanksgiving at Hearth was fabulous! All the fixings were fab. Service wonderful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner from start to finish. Everything was delicious!!
We chose Hearth because of the reviews, their ability to host a party of 6 easily, the type of food, and the vegetarian options on the menu. Hearth did not disappoint. The ambiance was exactly what we were hoping for and the food was fantastic. They also offered to store our birthday cake and present it for the meal’s finale - which was executed perfectly. So happy that we chose Hearth, would definitely return again.
Our server, Madison, was terrific! We had a fantastic meal sharing with friends. The meatballs were wonderful and getting a side order of polenta was such a nice pairing. My husband loved the spatchcock chicken. The cheese plate for dessert was amazing!
Revisted Hearth after a number of years. Was enjoyable for the most part, but left feeling a bit unsatisfied on the whole. As we had a late time slot, some of the entrees we wanted to try were sold out (striped bass and variety meat burger) so we settled on sharing the ribbolita soup and shaved autumn vegable salad and two pastas, the maccheroni with pork ragu and the strozzapreti with seasonal vegetables. Everything was tasty and fresh and we found the portions mostly adequate, but ultimately we felt the food was unexciting, underseasoned, and overpriced for what it was. Everything was improved by a shake of salt, and a grind of pepper, but at this level of price, I feel annoyed when I have to finish my own dish. The desserts we had, mascarpone cheesecake and apple crostata were the same, tasty but also needing some more acid components for our liking. The staff was welcoming and responsive, but our main waiter got a big party at the same time we sat, so seemed distracted while others on the team smilingly filled in. This is a good place if you want cozy comfort food on a cold night in the neighborhood but not necessarily destination place
Lovely ambiance, service, food. Small portions, but delightful dining experience.
About 30 mins into our meal, a group of 4 young women were seated next to us. They were incredibly loud. We requested that we be moved to a different table and the hostess immediately agreed. Without moving, we would not have been able to enjoy our meal which was excellent.
So happy and grateful we were able to help celebrate this restaurant's 18th birthday! Have been meaning to come here for dinner for ages and after our meal tonight we will be back regularly! The food was interesting and delicious but never pretentious. Service was friendly but professional and I really appreciated that there wasn't a strict uniform for them!
Oh joy - best gnocchi anywhere on earth...heavenly. And all else was delicious and beautiful as well.
Service was a little lack luster. Took quite a while to have anyone take my order. Great cocktails and live music.
We had the taster's menu dinner. It was fabulous but you have to ask for it. Would recommend it to family!
Great food. Very quite place with delicious dishes. Wonderfully low key vibe and energy inside. Bartender is super talented and makes great cocktails
A warm, cozy restaurant for grown-ups who want a good meal and good conversation with friends. Unhurried, friendly service and excellent food.
We ate outside — cold, but great time and great food!
Delicious food in a quaint setting. Excellent service.
Good food and service, but kind of pricey for what it was. It was simple fare. I cannot recall a restaurant where I was charged for bread. It was good bread and butter, but for a fee. Chocolate desert was enough was good for three. One more than were eating it. I recommend you go (but bring your own bread).
Amazing restaurant with great experience on Mondays with Jazz band.
Food is great, following the Italian cuisine from country side, following original recipes and taste.
Great live music. Menu has modestly changed so I appreciated this.
Amazing meal that reminds you of why New York culinary experiences can be so damn good…quality of food beyond apparent, just the right amount of savory without a drop of saltiness, a kitchen crew (sat right by) working as almost part of an orchestra.
It’s been a bit but feel like it’s even more spectacular than I remember….from the delicious ribolatta soup, to fresh pasta and succulent Berkshire pork chops. All just superb!
The thoughtful sustainable approach to food at Hearth also extends to the staff and the overall ambience. It’s a neighborhood gem.
We met our daughter and her boyfriend for dinner and drinks. Cocktails were delicious. We had old fashioned and a beekeeper. The food was as delicious as the menu described. Service from beginning to end was perfect.
Thoroughly disappointed. Period ! Was embarrassed taking a client there for the so called “Tasting Menu” which was recommended by an obviously misguided friend.
Great service from the bar Eric to Madison the waiter. She did a great job.
The tasting menu consisted of GARLIC BREAD AS THE FIRST COURSE AND ROASTED CHICKEN as the main course ! Are you kidding me??? This was two of 5 courses.
The food was good but come on ! That’s the best you can do ? Shame on the management for even advertising this as a tasting menu!
We could have gone to Kentucky Fried for the equivalent .
It’s not about the money , it’s about stepping out post Covid to resume what business people are supposed to do in this environment. To get people back into a grove, not substandard entrees serving chicken! Shame , shame , shame!
Sorry, never have I wrote a bad review, even when the food sucked . Here the food was good, the guidance sucked!
We were honored to be seated at the chef’s counter overlooking the kitchen, and had a tasting menu which was amazing. The chef is incredible and our dishes phenomenal. The food at Hearth is delicious and rich with flavor. The tile fish poached in butter with ramps was the best fish I’ve ever tasted. The fresh pasta is outstanding. Wine and cocktails superb. Lovely
The only bad thing ...the noise was excruciatingly high. The people at both tables near us were SCREAMING their conversations. SO much so, my dinner partner & I had to start screaming OUR conversation. NOT very relaxing for a rarely afforded night out.
Phenomenal food - interesting, seasonal combinations, delicious cocktails, knowledgeable servers - fun to be able to share small plates
We revisited after a hiatus of three years. Still like the place, but missed some of our favorite dishes
Wine list is incredibly overpriced. Food is good. Non-pasta entrees are on the smaller side.
Service was excellent! We had pork chops and pasta and sides. Everything was delicious.
The meatballs are the best. The fish was perfect. The beans were creamy and tasty. The greens, scrumptious. It's the only place to get Cecina. And the wine, a Perricone, was spicy, lively, delightful.
I hadn’t been to Hearth in years and decided to go for my wife’s birthday. We sat outside while it was pouring out and had the very best time. The meal was spectacular and the service outstanding. The food is so delicious and real. It was like we had driven around the Italian countryside and stumbled on the perfect restaurant with Nonna cranking out heartfelt and perfect dishes all night long with unbelievably knowledgeable and kind staff. Just such an amazing experience that could not recommend any higher.
Very limited menu, no lunch menu on a Saturday afternoon, only brunch menu available. 3 of us had the meatballs with polenta which was tasty but small plate size, 2 meatballs and very little polenta for $23. The egg sandwich was mediocre and also overpriced. The bloody Mary's were the worst I've ever had-tons of black pepper and no taste. $170 for 4 people for brunch and we were all hungry afterward.
